Neomarxist doesnt mean leftists, as ideology has nothing to do with working class and poor anymore. Only minorities and transnational capital interests are counted.

Exactly, these fuckers have hijacked the true left and now it's all to do with managing what people can and can't say about others, it's not even really about equality anymore it's all about control. It's like how religious nutcases have gone and hijacked the Republican party.
942  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ‘Offended’ flea market shopper calls 911 over Confederate merchandise on: July 13, 2015, 12:58:56 PM
The correct response would be to arrest the person who called 911 and release them after they pay all costs associated with the call.

I honestly agree with that, these fuckers are so obsessive when it comes to gun control laws and shootings etc. but they'll happily waste police time over a fucking flag, there are much bigger things to worry about than that bullshit.
943  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck Summer! on: July 13, 2015, 08:30:56 AM
LOL! I love how I didn't even have to bump it this time Cheesy

Well the heatwave very thankfully has ended for us over here in the UK, still dealing with pollen but at least I'm not slowly being boiled alive by the sun.

If you hate capitalism so much why are you here on a Bitcoin forum presumably earning it? Fuck you too.
945  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Greek debt 'illegal, illegitimate and odious' - BBC News on: July 12, 2015, 08:45:02 PM
Woops looks like my computer may have been loading it wrong, I swear I saw them make a typo in that article, either that or they fixed it really quick lmao.

I don't know about illegal, but the whole lending system is definitely fraudulent, but it goes both ways, if Greece hadn't borrowed that money in the first place they wouldn't be in this mess.
946  Other / Off-topic / Re: Webcam model gets $7k during cam show. Would you be generous like that? on: July 12, 2015, 01:45:53 PM
People really don't know what to spend Bitcoin on do they? lol! Tongue
947  Other / Off-topic / Re: Starcraft 2 Multiplayer - Does anybody still actually play it? on: July 12, 2015, 08:54:39 AM
lol yes, I only tend to pay full price on things I'm particularly excited about, usually it only takes a year before the discounts roll in on a lot of games, even the popular ones. Looking forward to XCOM 2 and Fallout 4 right now.

949  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pelosi: After Death of Kate Steinle, Congress Has ‘Moral Responsibility’ on Gun on: July 11, 2015, 04:28:19 PM

From 50 feet away? And three shots in rapid succession?

Nope.

China has immigrants. Japan has immigrants. Spain has immigrants.

none of them have gun crime. Wonder why?

We have plenty if immigrants who dont go around shooting people lol.

Well lets see, Spain is in a recession so nobody will be able to afford guns, China is under a ruthless dictatorship with a very dangerous army and Japan has the Yakuza who will remove any troublemakers. Yes, their organised crime is so good at keeping out foreign criminals that's why they're being allowed to operate.

Oh and before you mention Britain, trust me, as somebody who is living in a shit hole, gun control doesn't do anything, all that's happening now is we're just stabbing each other and the response by police?

http://www.bedfordshire.police.uk/tackling_crime/protecting_you/personal_safety/protecting_yourself.aspx

I feel so safe knowing that the advice given to me by professional police when in a situation where I'm up against an armed assailant that my best options are to run away screaming loudly. People who advocate gun control, just simply don't live in the real fucking world and I find it a particular piss take that politicians lecture people about gun control with armed bodyguards behind them.
950  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Robot wars: Japan agrees to fight America in giant "Battlebots" duel on: July 11, 2015, 03:59:27 PM
I guess Japan will win and no doubt about it. But I think it will be a innovation in their army. They could change their human army to robots. Actually I'm curious why they need to make a robot for the duel, instead of for helping human to work.

Well, it's not like these robots are quite that "army ready", yet. Wink

For now, at least, this is probably more of a show, or promotional stunt if you will, rather than a serious fight. But, who knows - maybe it will help spur development in the area.

The movement is way too jerky and slow, they need to work on all of that before these things will even be close to working properly, I have to say I do find it impressive though, the fact that people are even getting sparks of life out of these things.

All they need to do is keep working on the how the joints work etc. and I suspect a lot of it involved hydraulics, then we really will have our own mechs soon! Cheesy

Max Keiser went and said something I thought was daft, that you have people out there ordering a smere campaign against Bitcoin.... Now however, I'm not so sure, I think now that Bitcoin is acting so stable in the middle of a crisis somebody is going to want to take it down.
953  Other / Off-topic / Re: Starcraft 2 Multiplayer - Does anybody still actually play it? on: July 09, 2015, 07:04:29 PM
LOL Candy Crush, that just makes me angrier because it's micropayments, no I'll withdraw to my skirmish mode and solo play bubble where I'm happiest, I play BF4 a hell of a lot and that's great fun but sometimes I want a change, it's just ridiculous how some games get so utterly abused by other players that they make playing the games unbearable, the fact that games are now actually trying to force me to associate with them through that always online crap makes it worse.

I'm with Yahtzee on this one, I generally prefer offline unless there's some amazing gameplay like in BF4 where you can shoot helicopter pilots in the face and jump off rooftops. I'm just having a vent, don't get me started on fucking MOBAs even if you manage to disable everything, these guys will still try and annoy you through the ping functions the obnoxious fuckers.

By the way, I already have Bejeweled 3, but I've played it to death, need Fallout 4 and Xcom 2 to come out already Sad I think the state of some of the games industry alone is what's pushing me to make them lmao.
954  Other / Off-topic / Starcraft 2 Multiplayer - Does anybody still actually play it? on: July 09, 2015, 05:19:54 PM
I've gone and bought Starcraft 2 because it's nice and cheap now, Wings of Liberty at least and I've always in general liked RTS' but playing them on multiplayer is the most boring shit imaginable. Here's the thing, most strategy games are either now boring spamfests where you constantly have to keep up the unit count until one person gives in or makes a mistake ( usually that's me ) or it's down to who picks the right build orders and who rushes first which is a really annoying game to play because in the end instead of having fun blasting each other to bits you're too busy trying to worry if an enemy has spotted you first or not and if you have the right units out.

There really are only two main strategies it seems in Starcraft 2, yes I'm aware of various abilities and stuff but really anal players should realise none of that matters early game if especially if you have the right counters to them. There's the usual rush method where you just build a ton of cheap units and try to throw them at your enemy before they can build up and then there's the method of focusing on researching powerful units.

The problem with rushing is if the player is good, they'll have already scouted your base and know what your build order is so they'll just make units that counter that one ( In my case it was Thor's against my marines, because that's fair isn't it? ) second game I had the opposite had happened to me where instead of getting rushed by big weaponry I got cheap units after me because I had switched tactics, so I ended up getting swarmed by zerglings and banelings before I could get any helions up.

Thank fuck for modders because otherwise I would utterly hate this game, this is a bit of a rant I know but I'm a bit pissed at what Starcraft 2 has become because at least with Starcraft 1 you could always settle down with some nice offline gaming but you actually have to install mods in Starcraft 2 to be able to have any of that. The problem is the players on multiplayer really do take the fun out of the game because it's like facing off against hard A.I every fucking time because they've all got the build orders memorised and know exactly what to do, I really can't be bothered with any of that.

For multiplayer RTS I definitely would take Rome: Total War or Ground Control 2 any day but those games will definitely be dead now when it comes to multiplayer. Been trying to get into the RTS genre for multiplayer but it's all just shit and don't get me started on fucking MOBA's.
955  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Zealand makes internet 'trolling' illegal on: July 08, 2015, 09:23:19 PM
As usual these fuckers know absolutely nothing about the internet and it's workings.

Quote

The bill was introduced after a public outcry over the horrific "Roast Busters” scandal, in which a group of teenage boys from Auckland was accused of sexually assaulting drunk, under age girls and boasting about the acts on social media.

That's not called being a troll, that's called being an asshole, trolls have class, they're basically sophisticated pranksters that only operate on the internet. Takes a lot to get me angry, but these assholes who are trying to using corporate media to essentially invade the internret are pissing me off big time, especially when they come along with bullshit narratives and phony political ideology.

"Trolls have class."

Probably the first time that's ever been stated. Don't believe it in the least.

Compared to the assholes cited in the article? Yes, trust me, those are the ones that should be watched if any, the problem is the police, rather than looking at things logically, are basing their findings on political and ignorant hysteria rather than poking around the internet themselves and just learning about who the real psychopaths are and who aren't.
956  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Zealand makes internet 'trolling' illegal on: July 08, 2015, 07:14:07 PM
The thing is they know that it's utterly stupid and pointless, but they want a law passed so they can target individuals that they happen to dislike, I see these kind of laws easily being used by misandrists for example who will inevitably cry about a couple of assholes spamming their accounts and then an entire group they don't like going to jail for it.

Cut the cable and go a la carte with Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, etc!

That goes double for Netflix since they may well be signing up Top Gear in the next few weeks Wink
959  Other / Off-topic / Are professional templates worth it for people who just don't have the time? on: July 07, 2015, 09:29:58 PM
Some of you guys will know this I'm sure given that a lot of you are clearly in the web design business. I'm thinking of doing a serious makeover of my websites because yes, I'll admit it, while I got the basic functions, the look is absolute shit. It seems to me like with music and sound because I just don't have either the time or the skillset or the patience.

As I know there are some professionals lurking around would you say it's a good idea to do it? I want to fix my sites up and make them a hell of a lot more professional, browsing the ubercart templates of http://themeforest.net/attributes/compatible-with/Ubercart and quite a few of them look very neatly designed.
960  Economy / Economics / Re: Greek on-line merchants? on: July 07, 2015, 08:32:09 PM
Bitcoin can definitely prove to be a good help for Greek merchants and retailers. Now that the currency is in great upheavel ,they can probably adopt Bitcoins to save their trade. They need to be aware about it.

Are there any English speaking Greeks about here? It would be pretty cool if we could try and spread Bitcoin over there, as long as it's not too aggressive or anything of course.
