1  Economy / Economics / Re: NIST Announces First Four Quantum-Resistant Cryptographic Algorithms on: Today at 06:58:48 PM
When NIST will officially deprecate the use of ECDSA, that's when it will be the time to start thinking about switching to quantum-resistant algorithms. We don't need to replace old algorithms with new, if the old ones are still sufficiently secure.

Also, what's the size of a signature in those algorithms? If it's much larger than currently used by Bitcoin, it would either require a blocksize increase or will seriously lower the on-chain capacity.

Replacing the old algorithms with the new one is secondary but what matters is all the hype about how the quantum computers would destroy cryptos and Bitcoins as well is gone after this news, people knew that IT always makes advancements and at the end of the day they did find a way to make sure the algorithm is safe from quantum computing.
Also not everyone would be able to get their hands on the Quantum Computers since they are not just expensive the government is not gonna loose their websites over handling every commoner who needs one as well. I think it's good to see that people are still working in making the whole thing better and stronger.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Sensational Push For Cryptocurrencies As US Fed on: Today at 06:07:04 PM
Just on 19th April 2022, they stated how cryptocurrencies might need more ' regulations '. They still believe that they need more rules and regulations for the cryptocurrencies as well.

Now they made statements according to only one website where they state how it can lead to strengthening of the us dollar as well, I do think it's high time to realize that, they might need much more than that, they didn't talk about bitcoins seperate. What they said is :

Quote
Digital assets could actually reinforce the dollar’s role in the international market over the medium run. This could be done if new sets of services structured around these assets are linked to the dollar.”

Taken from the source above.

Digital assets for them might not be just cryptocurrencies like Bitcoins. They are more concerned with usage of CBDC's

3  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: Today at 05:34:37 PM
+100 slaman29 suggestions and feedback, constructive is the only requirement.

Now,,, I am staying away from BJ martingale in July btw, that socalled strategy lost so me much money there in June I have to rest and recover I even got tempted today to try for weekly and I gave up seeing even hourly already 2nd place is 150 mbtc,,, so better not  Grin

Of course to see such amounts is amazing for them and casino, only not so much for me Wink

Martingale won't just work horribly for blackjack.fun, it would work bad for all kinds of gambling as well, therefore if you considering it to be a probelm of the site you might be awfully wrong as well, I hope you are not going to continue the bet because it does need a lot of investment and at the end it would actually be sad for you at the end. The best is always to make individual bets because they have more chances of making you happier and at the same time it would make you loose less overtime.

Considering gambling for fun.
Don't try apply strategies in blackjack work on the skills..
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Unemplyment at least 50% how world will look like then ? on: Today at 04:44:10 PM
Employment is already plummeting, with feds explaining to major countries about how they should stop putting out new job opportunities for a while to fight inflation to the massive uprest due to the pandemic as well, people are already struggling.

If the unemployment goes down to 50%, there would not only be a massive poverty but at the same time people would also have to invest in self employment options, which would mean that the local areas might be unaffected considering villages have their own self sustaining options but the massive cities would be hit terribly.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of America reported a 50% decline of active cryptocurrency users. on: Today at 04:08:56 PM
I do think they do realize that feds just increased their interest rates which made most people quite reluctant to sell their coins and invest in the normal banking as well, therefore I do think that, it's completely okay since this number does not define the people who are doing p2p trading and holding as well, they would choose to keep their coins safe from the governmental eyes as well, other than that there are several Altcoins which are outperforming bitcoins this years so I do believe that people are definitely having a very different outlook regarding them and are willing to take a chance on them, that's just the market, you see where you wanna invest in.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You should not worry about BTC price action on: July 05, 2022, 06:55:19 PM
The price rocketing would come after September for sure whenever the price rose there was a definite pattern and it did not resonated that well with the comparative government market as well. I do think that with series of ups and downs we do need to understand that the market is still profitable for people who are trading and even more at such events, I do think even if the price does not go up even then it would be important to understand the contribution bitcoins has during the pandemic. The best part would be realizing, bitcoins is proven to go up every few years, therefore the best part is HODLing and not listening to the fake news and getting intimidated by the price fluctuations.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Take This 2 Minutes Nine Step Quiz To Access Yourself In Gambling on: July 05, 2022, 06:32:28 PM
Quizzes are deemed very effective and one can always look at their results and take care of them better in the future, there are certain things that one can do if they are a problem gambler :

1. Free online services available for gamblers
2. Get medications for addiction
3. Work on yourself and check your environmental impact as well.

Other than that I do think that there are other things as well : a person who is not a problem gambler and knows it does not have to actually take the quiz. It's all able controlling your urges and it's all about having or no having them in the first place.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Zimbabwe resorts to gold coins as local currency tumbles on: July 05, 2022, 06:12:03 PM
There was a reason why gold coins went into oblivion, there was a time when people used both gold and silver coins but at the end of the day they stopped, the reason would be limited supply, inflation, what are they going to do with the capital tax as well, how are they going to handle it, then there comes the volatility as well. I do think that one can understand the fact why this plan won't go that good as well. I do think that they should actually work on making more jobs available for the people and at the same time make things better on a individual basis as well, instead of letting the government introduce new gold coins.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 05, 2022, 05:42:40 PM
Ofcourse
Environment holds everything, If you are with active gamblers that does mean that you would not find gambling that exclusive and would have go to friends to try it, another example, If you live near a casino it would be easier for you to go there and use the news deals and stuff, If you are honestly living and having environmental influences from your friends and family you can eventually start gambling without even realizing, therefore it's always the environment that plays a vital role. I do think environment> genetics as well when we consider gambling and other syndromes like addiction.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League has asked clubs to voluntarily end Gambling deals on: July 05, 2022, 05:17:53 PM
Ending gambling deals does not mean anything, people who gamble would still Gamble and more or so some of them might look for other casinos where the deals are still open therefore as a matter of fact some casinos will take undue advantage of it to attract more players, this is indeed a very weird stage where people might have problems pertaining to casinos as well since in the gambling section you already see people complaining about the deals and bonuses therefore they already have loads of probelms with that, more or so they should limit it, improve it, banning it would be another issue.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 05, 2022, 01:06:44 PM
Ofcourse they can but the probability of that happening is closer to none, therefore at the end of the day some people might not even try, I know a few uncle of mine who have been buying lottery tickets and for them the best part of their life would be winning one, but unfortunately her is now 55 and doing that since he was a child as well.

I do think the way to proceed with these things would be to accept and understand that you might not win and therefore in an event that you have a positive outcome, you would be able to enjoy it, I know negative thinking might turn some faces but at the end of the day I do believe, it's the best way to go about in terms of gambling.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Be a Failure Even If It Hits $100,000, Says "Black Swan" Author !! on: July 04, 2022, 06:50:49 PM
The price of Bitcoins does not put a value on the success of Bitcoins as a whole, having a currency since 2009 and it being governed by none and still on the market in 2022 does make it a huge success already, they need a hedge against inflation ofc, who said it has to be bitcoins, it can be but the volatility does not make sense in the same sector. I do think that you have to understand that market if ofc an uneventful thing and you cannot peg all your hopes onto a crypto and publicly shame it, if it's not according to your standards, we have seen Elon musk do the same, trying to use the public platform and move the price as well.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Types of Bonuses Offered by Online Casinos on: July 04, 2022, 06:24:15 PM
There is something called VIP bonus as well where the VIPs get special treatment from the casino and are often rewarded with a Cashback as well.

It's wise to notice about the bonuses on the social media as well, the marketing at the beginning of the casino does make it much easier for players to get accustomed to new games as .

Other than that I do consider free bets as bonuses as well, but this all would only work if you are a continuous gambler since gambling every once in a while does not let you have access to much bonuses as well.

I'm not very interested in bonuses, especially online gambling, some members have said each bonus has different rules and if someone wants to claim the bonus I have to complete the rules. especially for the doubling deposit bonus, if I want to withdraw I have to reach twenty times the deposit amount and some other rules that I didn't mention.
Usually I get a game accumulation bonus once a week but this bonus is small depending on the turnover round that we play.

Also casino can decide to discontinue the bonus any time as well.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is for big bag holders on: July 04, 2022, 06:01:32 PM
Oh my god I am so sorry to see your losses, I hope you could have refered to other discussions where the people time and again told how martingale is not a good strategy to go through at the same time there are people on the YouTube who did try it and failed as well, plus you did make huge bets I would say, you could have feathered it out as well. I do think that you do need to understand the fact that gambling is definitely for people who do have a certain amount of money in their bag but you should understand that it's also for small entertainment purposes when the bet is not making a hole in your pocket. Sorry for the loss again!
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Fashion Brands uses Blockchain Technology on: July 04, 2022, 04:26:05 PM
First of all it's good that they do understand the fact that Blockchain is not bitcoins which also means that the technology does not have to go through the harsh outlines that the government defines for Bitcoins as a whole, what I do know is, Blockchain is being used around the world and there are more than 50 applications! It can help in keeping a good log in the library or it can essentially be used in any other MNCs as well.

Banking, healthcare, log keeping, all these places does need a little bit of help from the Blockchain so that they can be more secure, since it can be extended to cyber security as well !

The best part is they are creating a ' non- profit' organization as well ! Therefore it can be used for small business organizations and make things way more international.
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➡➡ STAKE.COM customer service cheated on weekly boost on: July 04, 2022, 03:44:17 PM
Hi
Is there any way that you can provide proof of what you are saying since most of the times these allegations can backfire and lead you to a dead end. What you need to do is to write them a mail if possible and see what they reply then you can definitely post it here as well. I do think that stake has a good reputation and if they see such allegations they might try and solve the issue as well, you also need to message them as well, but you should remember to read terms and conditions since these bonuses usually are subject to them and people don't realize that the casino can stop 🛑 them at any moment causing unrest for some people but it's worth mentioning.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is not an inflation hedge in first place on: July 04, 2022, 02:30:31 PM
You know the good thing is, there are no boundaries which means that as long as you own some bitcoins and use it howsoever you please you got nothing to worry about, you would ofcourse choose the method that suits you the best for me I generally use it as a payment method, but unfortunately odds are against me since most of the times I am unable to get someone to accept it as well so easy to convert it into fiat sometimes. I do think it is not an issue of how bitcoins is being used what's more important is understanding it's volatility and knowing that it is essentially as important as fiat now.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 03, 2022, 10:36:12 AM
There is definitely some influence on the Gambling either be it moderate or sevear but please do remember that to make these things quite big the influence does need varied environmental factors, any genetic trait needs environmental factors to express itself, therefore if your parents are gamblers and you grew up to think that it was a normal thing then chances are, you would be a Gambler as well.

Gambling is further expressed in certain conditions like OCD, ADHD so the genetic influence can be indirect as well, which does mean that you can get therapy, you can get treatment as well, it's not that weirdly organized in your DNA. I do think the environmental factors are much more concerning than the genetic ones.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready to embrace physical bitcoin? on: July 02, 2022, 06:28:29 PM
No 😂
We already have paper wallets, do you see people giving them around? I am aware of some instances where people did give paper wallets to waiters etc.. but how usual it is ?
It is not safe, not tradable, can't be converted easily to online version, does need valid third party on the go to make it happen. The current system does need KYC you think that won't? That won't be governed by a body? You do have fiat to exchange, what would you even do with it? The coffee is 4.50$.. here have a physical Bitcoin! Np keep the change. Sorry sir the value just went down ! You gotta pay more.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: July 02, 2022, 05:55:26 PM
I do consider the volatility as an asset therefore I do not understand the concept of stabilization for Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies as well, I do think that most of the investors are in this market because of the volatility that exists, I do think that companies with big amount have huge power over bitcoins they are the whales in the market as well which also means that they would eventually try and exert this control if the market moves close to stabilization therefore what do you think would happen? They would eventually lead the whole market into oblivion. I think volatility is indeed an asset that needs to be preserved.
