481  Economy / Economics / Re: Evaluating Tokenomics on: April 26, 2022, 05:16:26 PM
Well tokenomics is basically based on concepts which can be applied very easily to the basic investments as well therefore I do think that is wise to be able to actually applying different laws for sure. One needs to understand that it's not about overlooking but it's more about being too focused on the investment price and the price of certain asset.

For me I do have certain things I follow up when I think about following a token :
1. Bitcoin above all << that's literally what I follow >>
2. Things like shiba and doge are all going well, with them having more than 25% of increase people can definately start investing during the lows
But ! These coins are very manipulated by the things like Twitter.

Manipulation of the market is a big probelm therefore I do think we should have some form of buffer system that can protect that.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 26, 2022, 04:45:07 PM
Is anyone unhappy with judging decisions in MMA over the last few months?

Is it my imagination or is judging becoming less reliable and more crazy over time?

I am unhappy with judging. I can closed eyes when judge in the ring isnt able to sometimes notice something (like punches in the back of the head, elbow on the ground or fighters using fence as a help against takedowns). But something must be done with judges that fill score cards. There are not strict and obvious rules on how to make decision who won round. Fighter can cycle for 4 minutes, make a takedown and win a round, while other fighter connected more and was more aggressive. I dont like that striking is value more than ground game like wrestling or grappling. If a one fighter was throwing strikes for 2.5minutes, and then spent 2.5 minutes defending from being chocked, according do judges, he won the round, but I would give a draw.

I really think in the ground fight they are looking for the fighter who is in control, and yes the judges are into more strikes than the takedowns because it is easy for them to look and judge the striking but if a fighter is more aggressive and more in control with his fight judges can tend to score more on that, but yes there are many unlikely scores, or some judges are biased, I really think the judging system is not really perfect that is why fighters should pursue more on a KO, or TKO so likely there is no need to go with the scorecards and that fighter really deserve that win, but I am not saying that you are wrong you have your own comment and I really respect that,

Is anyone unhappy with judging decisions in MMA over the last few months?

Is it my imagination or is judging becoming less reliable and more crazy over time?

It hasn't been less reliable or more crazy over time.  It's nothing new...  It has always been that way, esp if you have Chris Lee judging the matches.  Lolol.  And some those guys have no idea what they're doing imo.  I think the UFC should file an official complaint about these judges to whatever commission they came from.  Watch Holloway vs Volk 2 and tell me if Volk won that match.  I mean sure it can be argued for him since it was a split decision but I think there was a bigger argument for Holloway.  Dunno...

But if you're asking for straight robberies, no that's pretty rare.  And it would be too obvious.

Apparently, some people or most fans for that particular fighter are saying that the fight was a robbery, I can not argue with that, because they had their own opinion, but if the majority of fans are complaining about the scorecards then the UFC should change the judges, they should not be biased with the fight, and the UFC should background check them first pertaining if they like some of the fighters then that judge will likely bias on that fighter, there is a huge chance, but the Judge system is not really perfect it has its ups and downs, so I think we should be understandable, and I agree with all you are saying, and pretty much many people don't like some of the judges score and me aswell I don't really like most of the scores, but I am respectful on their side, that is their job if they would give a biased score then that is their decision because they are the judges, and yeah it is not 100% accurate.

Can't say it's anything new. It's the lack of consistently in MMA due to it being a newish sport, owned by an individual. Some of couple week's decisions were weird, but you had to agree. Fights were stopped due to illegal elbow and eye poke, with the ref choosing what happened. Why was one fighter taken a point, but the other not? You can hear this makes sense to the commentators as well. I've seen some arguments against the 10-9 scoring, think it's a bit ridiculous to take this away and it works well when a fighter has had a dominant fight. I think refs should have access to strikes absorbed as they are watching in real time. But let's me honest, especially when your trying to take a belt of someone. You have to win, or at least dominate, if fighters don't want to leave it to the judges. Knock them out. Easier said than done, but don't leave it for someone else to decide.
483  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quick solution to integrate a provably fair option for the prize draw on: April 26, 2022, 02:13:52 PM
There is honestly no way to check something like that, but what can be beneficial is : Asking yourself, if you trust that casino. If you do think that the casino is fair and you have been using the services without any complaints then I do think that it would be a good idea to place your bets but at the same time even if the event is live streamed there are still a lot of things that can be done. I don't think much about events like these but if they can for sure share the codes to the lottery picking bot or something it can be verified by someone else but again you have to be extremely careful with such events as well. But you can use already existing bots from other sites such as google as well this might help people trust them more for sure.
484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin continues to decline, what causes it? on: April 25, 2022, 05:57:10 PM
There are some FUD's floating in the market. Some of them are investigating in matters like *microstrategy trying to silently sell their coins*, *Bitcoins reaching it's full potential as well with other Altcoins making way to better investments* things like that are scaring the people away, this inturns means that it would be a cause of concern for the investors and people who just entered the market, the people who have already been here do understand this question pops up every now and then in everyone's head and they are quite aware of the fact that it's more or so something that you should not concern yourself with , the price will rise again ofc and we do know that we will see an ATH sooner or later, it's all about patience.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 25, 2022, 04:24:43 PM
the main source is to be happy and enjoying while playing and most gamblers who experienced this would be a potential gambling addict in the future if not controlled in the first place. They may find it enjoying and amusing once they experience the feeling of winning plus every casino have their own kind of vibe that makes people get comfortable to stay that's why they stay thus get attracted to the games of casino.
And don't forget about the promotions, it's also one of the reasons why someone can get addicted on gambling. They keep on coming back, depositing more because the more they spend the more the perks/benefits they are going to get.

When your goal is only to gamble for fun, that is better and the chance for you to become addicted can be lesser because you will be contented on every results that you are getting but if you play for profit, you are sometimes not contented when you are winning. In your head you need to continue because there might be more wins waiting for you. When losing, you also want to deposit again because you want to recover. This doesn't end.

Exactly
That's why I do believe that the people who are actually gambling to make some profits or if they are praying to god for some kind of miracle while holding the lottery ticket these people might get addicted in some way before they can realize that they have lost all, they try and win it back which makes them loose even more money.
Honestly the only way to gamble should be for fun, games like blackjack is something else that's like the one where your skills might count as well and such games you can definitely make an exception but one must realize that gambling is a*game* not a source of income..
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: April 25, 2022, 03:46:34 PM
We've seen a lot of new casinos having issues with how to start promoting their project, they just come here to post their thread and that's it,  we have seen members recommending casino admin or representative get a copper account and hire a designer to design their thread this happens so many times.

Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain the Trust of the community and start on the right foot
take the case of Bitlucy where bounty manager Royse777 is the one opening and managing the thread, the thread is just perfect and everything on the casino home page is well placed.

Do you think it's a big advantage for the new casino that they have a bounty manager to be part of the team, we have a good lineup of reputable managers here.

Ofcourse it is.
Who would you rather trust ?
Someone you have no idea about initially and someone who has been in the community for a long period of time. This does not only win the trust of people but at the same time it would help for the casino to know the platform better as well since when they start usually it's not really *know-it-all* situation, very often people have to get help for the right advertising.
Plus the managers are equally important as the people who design their whole ANN page as well since that's where they are going to get the customers and their opinions as well. How they handle it fully is a whole different thing, sometimes it would be a disaster if not taken care of in every way and you have to ofc plan everything as well.
487  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone care about the environment? on: April 25, 2022, 02:31:04 PM
If you're constantly up on the news, I'm sure you're aware of the scientists stage worldwide climate change protests.

Over 1,000 scientists from 25 countries took part in the Scientist Rebellion's demonstrations over a week ago.

How does this affect on the market? Or doesn't at all? On the prices of bitcoin?

Hi !
It's definitely a big deal concerned with Bitcoins and the environment perse. One have to understand the fact that, bitcoins is notorious for using high amount of electricity concerned with mining and there are very few miners who are using renewable sources of energy as well, which does mean that the green energy alternative for mining is very slow as well.
One have to understand that these things are extremely personal therefore one have to take their own steps to make sure they are helping the environment while keeping the community intact.
The government's ideas about bitcoins concern with the pollution is banning it directly but I do not think how this can be any more reasonable than switching to better sources, by implementing finer laws to make sure that it can be *improved*. But we will still wait for many years to come for such an opportunity but till then if you are a miner, you know what to do.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: April 25, 2022, 01:38:00 PM
The Russians are trying to do things that can somehow save their whole economic system from falling. They are trying to sell the gas at any price possible, they are even taking it to the mass media, this does straight away shows their desperation to sell the gas right now since they have stuck a literal war on their business at the moment.
There are certain EU countries which are more affected than the other ones like : Germany, Italy and France and at the end of the day they are tackling inflation in the prices of normal commodities making it harder for a general person to tackle the whole thing systemically.
The plan would be to somehow try and make things normal, it starts with Russia dropping down the weapons and taking responsibility for their bad decision, plus if that does not happen then the other EU countries might have to try and support the most vulnerable countries, try and provide them with gas somehow to curb the inflation.

490  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs really worth it? on: April 24, 2022, 05:42:55 PM
I do think that there can be both positive and negative points for CBDC's

Positive:
1. If integrated with trading perse they would be providing a great alternative to usdt with Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies as well making sure that people have enough time and space to encash in their usual local currencies making it not only cost effective but more diverse.
2. The connection of banks and cryptocurrencies can increase.
<< But we all know that the government before anything they are yelling about how bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies are a nuisance and therefore they should be taken out before their fake crypto can come out>>
Therefore the negative can be :
1. They are not cryptocurrencies
2. Super looked after that means zero privacy
3. Too controlled, zero volatility
4. Government might try and push the agenda through causing harm to the laws concerned with Bitcoins and other cryptos
491  Economy / Economics / Re: How Capitalism defeated socialism? on: April 22, 2022, 06:55:51 PM
The verdict is in, and contrary to what socialists say, capitalism, with all its warts, is the preferred economic system to bring the masses out of poverty and to make them productive citizens in our country and in countries around the world. Remember this: Capitalism rewards merit, socialism rewards mediocrity. I mean, socialism talking about equality but it is just a beautiful lie , and capitalism is an ugly truth !

There was a political cartoon in our civics book when we were small, a one we did not understand a lot but it stated how : rich gets richer and how poors get poorer and that's how the whole system works especially in countries which are filled with not only corruption but also disparities between the masses where education is the only thing that can get you onboard on the race but to win you would have to work 1000 times as hard.

I think cryptocurrencies can bridge this gap to an extent, some of them are proving to be an amazing trading opportunity for most people and some people became millionaires investing some money in certain Altcoins as well.

At the same time it's important to have education as a tool to encompass the monotonous routine as well.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 22, 2022, 05:33:49 PM
One might already understand that winning at Gambling is hard but at the end of the day we still see a lot of people increasingly interested in Gambling..
Almost everyone like to feel like they have a better luck than the next individual,so regardless of the numerous individuals that they hear their story that they lost at gambling, so far there is still that one person that they hear won, the delusion that you can be as lucky as that individual set's in.

One might be aware of the fact that even though the Gambler knows that he is loosing money they measure the gambling to be an effective usage of that money, a leisure activity to begin with therefore it's more concerned with the activity-than winning an idea that some problem gamblers ignore.
The idea that you can one day win back all the money you habe lost keeps the gambler going.

What do you think is the best game/ sports to gamble on ? Do you do it for winning?
I personally love sports betting and bet on football, i hope to win while supporting my favourite teams.

That's great!
Sometimes the favorites of you can also be the death of you therefore you have to be really wise and I know no matter how sad you might feel to bet against them sometimes you have to!

At the same time the algorithm of many games are designed in such a way that after consecutive loosing they will give the player one win so that the player continues to gamble and these winnings are placed meticulously around the clock so that they have the idea that they are winning but at the end of the day, the house never looses and whatever money they make is ofcourse going to be lower than what they invested in as well.

Therefore players must be really  careful while dealing with casinos like that since it's great to recognize early and to change the particular casino, onto a better and fair site.

Source :here

In roulette type games more than 95% of the amount is usually back to the player but when we talk about lotteries it goes way below 50% which is explained by the lower levels of winners and winning as a whole despite that lottery is some of the biggest revenue collector for the government. The players usually focuses not on winning big, but most of the time the short increase of dopamine makes their money worth it ( ofc if used in moderation)

What do you think is the best game/ sports to gamble on ? Do you do it for winning? Are the ideas in the article according to you correct? How many times you usually win in a game of chance+skills?
494  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a good move by national bank of Ukraine on: April 22, 2022, 01:39:01 PM
The price of UAH is going extremely up and down making the whole thing super volatile therefore The bank is trying to ban these things to prevent the engagement of people to keep the investments in the banks, but I do not think it's a good move as well since :
1. People have very limited option right now thus they need to invest in something which can provide them with profits and using third party sites might not be a good option since they are not just : expensive but also there is a matter of trust around them as well.
They also suspended e-cash transactions https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnbc.com/amp/2022/02/24/ukranian-bank-suspends-e-cash-transfers-bolstering-crypto-use-case.html
The move seems to be a good one for the government but undeniably its causing difficulties to the people around since cryptos are a big deal in Ukraine and people are very actively involved in buying/selling.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which sports betting picks and prediction channel you watch? on: April 22, 2022, 01:08:45 PM
There are few sites that you can explore on the Google for example:
https://www.bettingexpert.com/mixed-martial-arts
https://www.betmma.tips/
But one must ask a very important question: "If you are basing your betting on prediction sites are you sure that there is no manipulation and how would you contrast it with your cognitive capabilities of predicting those fights ?"
It's really essential to not only: examine these fights on your own but at the same time it's also important to make sure to follow for all the news, injuries, probelms outside the arena and sometimes personal probelms are also a major factor as well.
For me I do not think it's a good idea to judge these fights just based on such sites and therefore I would rather follow a forum member or my friend who I know is amazing in predicting rounds.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Concern of illegal use of crypto on: April 21, 2022, 06:50:07 PM
They are already tracking people and if there is any frauds involved they can always try and retrace everything to the fraudster. At the same time fiat is used more in the illegal transactions because it does not leave any backlog as well, one must understand that bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies is honestly way better and safer. You need to attach your bank account, your aadhar card and your tax card as well making it way harder to hide. They need to employee people who are good with cryptocurrencies in the government therefore It's all about change, accepting it and making sure they are taking all the right steps.
Fiat and other things also have the same problem, the best you can do is to make laws and follow up on that if there is any complain.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Behind closed doors, EU officials talk about banning Bitcoin" on: April 21, 2022, 06:26:09 PM
Goodness! This is joy to see the world talk about bitcoins like that. The main reason they are giving is : Sustainability whereas we are quite aware that the factories and industries are still running to the standards of 1800's. There are many other things which are supposedly a threat to the whole community and sustainability and a whole but blaming it all on bitcoins is something else plus do they not understand that shifting is not that easy? Definately it's a hard task and at the same time they can also help provide the miners with renewable sources of energy that they can pay back slowly over the span of years and therefore they would protect the community and at the same time they would also be able to have the bit of control they always wanted.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quick Survey: why do you specifically use crypto to gambooool ? on: April 21, 2022, 05:22:43 PM
There are few things that are definitely worth better than offline gambling when it comes to it :
1. COVID you don't have to worry about it since it's way safer to bet online and there are much more options available
2. There are games dedicated to the market you are looking for as well
3. You can win way more definately on many sites and some bonuses are very much better
4. You can bet with smallest possible amount as well
5. Signature campaigns offers great promos as well and the amount can get deposited right in your account making it way more easier to use that site
6. More privacy and less judgement

Forcing Utility On The SEC
https://thedefiant.io/forcing-utility-on-the-sec/
"The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission under Chair Gensler is a rigid challenger of the crypto industry in its aggressive application of an age-old regime to digital assets.  Even without the 97 enforcement actions and billions in imposed penalties, the SEC has effectively impaired the industry from advancing digital innovation and technology by stalling approval of broker-dealers, denying ETFs, and thwarting lending programs."
https://www.cornerstone.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/SEC-Cryptocurrency-Enforcement-2021-Update.pdf

What do you say about it?

I think all we have to say for this is to *wait*
Soon enough all the countries would be fighting to make crypto mining a more favourable thing in their country to attract not only more tax but more internal security, give people access to financial strength and at the same time they would ofc try and take over the mining industry and make innumerate amount of money.

The US is kind of a double edged sword, they might be allowing the bigger parts but at the same time there is no way that they are this lenient to allow the small business owners like even the price to get a license and permission to do something is ridiculous which most bodies cannot pay and thus have to shut it down.

People need to take this issue up as well and advertise it more so that more reforms can be made.
500  Economy / Gambling / Re: Another New Rule On Gambling Adverts Ban Celebrities and Sports Stars on: April 21, 2022, 03:13:50 PM
There are definately few things left out of here :
 - What would happen to the gambling sites who already have planned and have contract with the celebs endorsing their adverts on TV ( they might have to pull something through for that definitely)
-this would definately decrease the amount of people interested in gambling because of their favorite starts on the television
-This would reduce the amount of kids they attract towards these adverts as well I do think they should try and give them sepcific slots according to the time so that the kids won't be able to get to them as well.
- this episode definately affect the sports starts like the UFC ones because at the end of the day they were getting paid a lot for all the adverts in between.
