541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banking bitcoins will be work on: April 12, 2022, 03:58:49 PM
Hi
Your information is not sufficient to provide a valid response but I do think what you are asking is : if we would be able to use Bitcoins without the banking system. Long story short : YES
You can always use P2P transactions but it would depend upon your community and the people who are willing to engage in them therefore you would have to find people who would like exchanging coins. Some people would defiantly prefer doing it in terms of fiat as well. I do think that we should understand that banking system is a very good match for Bitcoins since they are able to instantly withdraw/deposit/trade/find multinational currencies, for me banking system is defiantly not that personal since all the information is collected and you still have to pay taxes on it but it's definitely very usable.
542  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online casino. What's the reliability of the technology? on: April 12, 2022, 02:56:26 PM
I do understand that some people might think that they can be very easily rigged making it harder for people to trust it. This does not mean that they can be trusted any less than their counterparts, the offline casino slot machines. It's honestly something that is simple but it's also based on your luck, therefore if you are not winning consistently then you should look no further into it.

If you are on a relatively good site, then the machines can be trusted definately. Therefore you would be in good hands, but you have to make sure the find trusted casinos there. You can also go on about choosing the ones in the campaigns and on the forum as well.

The slot machines are verified their software is generally double, tripple verified therefore if I trust the site I do see no problem in trying it out.
543  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New York imposes a permit for Crypto companies on: April 12, 2022, 01:01:27 PM
There is no way Any governmental body is going to leave crypto just like that, to make sure they are able to regulate it and earn profits from it they usually try to make sure that people's choice comes from them getting profits as well, therefore they have higher tax on such regulatory affairs like cryptocurrencies like bitcoins.

At the same time cryptocurrencies are essential for the gambling market of the whole country perse from where they earn millions of dollars which does mean that they are not going to ban it for sure. I do think regulation is a bit better than them banning it and trying to force people to use things like CBDC's at least they are far off from that as well.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 11, 2022, 05:54:05 PM
This is not just an understatement of Villarreal but indeed Bayern Munich did it in the second leg, bad results always happen in the first leg right
Bayern Munich does this almost every season the first leg target is playing safe the target in the 2nd leg is to destroy the opponent
I'm not surprised if Bayern Munich will go to the final again well usually they lose in the final.
There are several times that Bayern Munich was defeated in Leg 1 and they can win in Leg 2. They are only conceded 1 goal in Leg 1, they are still very possible to qualify for the next round. Villareal isn't a too weak team, they proved it by winning the Leg 1. But with the capability of Bayern Munich, we can predict that Bayern to win with big scores in Leg 2. Moreover, the Leg 2 will be held in Bayern home, it is their advantage.

We can't compare Bayern Munich to Villarreal. We all know how strong and able Munich are. But, Villarreal is not a team to underrate, their performance in the first leg said it all. I have this feeling that Villarreal will probably play the second leg defensively, which will possibly result to them drawing the match. Bayern have to be extra careful, because any slight mistake caused by them in the match, will lead to Villarreal kicking them out of the UCL.
Bayern Munich are miles ahead of Villarreal no doubt. Villarreal are currently struggling in the Spanish La Liga languishing in the sixth position but they have been nothing less than exceptional in the champion's league. I don't think Villarreal will sit back defending in the second leg though if they do I think they will be punished by those Bayern forwards.
No doubt at all. And there will be no doubt the minds of the German giants. I think late first half they will find their first goal and as soon as that music comes blaring out, it will all be over for the Spanish sides. Once the door is unlocked i expect a clinical performance so show the rest of the teams they are the true force. I think they will have an easier run due to lack of competition in ther Bundesliga, unlike city, liverpool who have a tough schedule ahead of them. Bayern can really concentrate on the champion league , even though a few players will be missing, they have a host of young talent which will benifit their professional career.
545  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase suspended india ? on: April 11, 2022, 05:23:25 PM
The government is always keen on experimenting with crypto market and therefore they sometimes put things off them. The fact this coinbase was not suspended but they stopped it themselves because they were not too happy about the policy of the Indian government. Which I also think is a bit too strong at the moment. Plus this happened just few days after its launch. You should know there are other wallets and trading platforms that you could use in India. You can always use Zebpay and at the same time it would be wise to use local one's as well. Their stocks is also Fallin at the moment. We cannot expect much positive news from the day onwards tho. But you can always make a foreign account if you hold a temporary resident permit and also a foreign bank account as well.
546  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is safe heaven not against volatility but as store value on: April 11, 2022, 04:51:39 PM
Keeping crypto safe is a matter of concern, since technology is something that can be hacked even though mobile phones and the internet as well. If you download anything from mail as well this could be disastrous. Therefore I do think the only way to make sure that things are safe and your wallet and keys are preserved you have to make sure to :
1. Own your keys
2. Have an offline wallet not online !
3. Have wallets like ledger for more than a certain amount of money and keep it stored in a safe
4. Don't write down your keys on your mobile or upload them anywhere it might be harmful for long term
5. Avoid everything that can get your account or your phone hacked !!
Most of the people investing in crypto are doing it to keep their identity safe and second to keep their money safe. While the data of crypto assets is stored in physical servers, I believe exchanges must be having some kind of safety measures or data back up to prevent losses incase of war or such events. I wonder if there is some kind of crypto  insurance in the market
Lloyd's have a new insurance policy for your crypto wallets maybe you can check that out ! But prevention is always better than the cure.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sports betting sites that return your money when you lose. on: April 11, 2022, 04:17:42 PM
Hey !
You tell me, can you find a site which gives you money back when you loose again and again when at the end of the day they are still up and running?
How would a site continue to provide such Promotions? If they wanna stay in business? There are numerous sites which have promotions like :
1. Cashback on your first bet
2. Cashback if your horse finishes second ( even tho am against horse betting just citing here for educational purposes)
3. Cash back for a VIP member
4. Cash back for times like Christmas, New year etc.

The promotional offers are pretty limited therefore you must understand that of a site promises you over, I would never touch it. But you can definitely enjoy, they can give you an illusion that you are getting your money back but actually what's gonna happen is, you are going to loose a lot as well and it would equalize after a while.

Therefore it's all just an algorithm to keep you playing.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold , Silver Or Crypto? on: April 11, 2022, 02:13:55 PM
Gold :
- Need high amount of initial investment
- You cannot sell it whenever you want you might have to follow the rules as set by the government
- you cannot earn passive income using it
- volatility is not as defined
- The return value won't be the same if you go sell any physical gold as well

I do think that for me cryptocurrencies are the choice of investment since they :
- Do not require any minimum amount for the investment
- they are super easy to use and everything can be done on your mobile
- volatility is always a + point if you know how to use it
- you have a lot of trading opportunities
- it's not controlled by the government at all!!!
549  Economy / Economics / Re: Will sanctions force Russia to create a CBDC of its own? on: April 10, 2022, 06:37:01 PM
There are few things that we can keep in mind while thinking of Russia and them keeping the whole world at bay :
1. They are going to face long term consequences with no help from any other country even the countries like India, they are actually not in their favour they just choose not to speak against them because of their long term relationship thus they are quite cornered at the moment.
2. They are backing rubble up with gold which means the value is rising again and they are also thinking of asking other countries to pay in rubles for the gas which is working to an extent
3. They are cutting down imports and exports now which means they might have to set their economy aside and maintain their own system.
4. EU is extending sanctions on BTC as well meaning they might need another option which would be CBDC'S ofc and at the same time we can see them evolving a bit like China and North Korea if this madness doesn't stop therefore I do think they are definitely going to launch it.
They will definitely isolate their economy and do every possible thing.
550  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's price stabilize someday? on: April 09, 2022, 06:22:10 PM
The only way the price of Bitcoin can be stabilized is by:
1. Having an organization handle it for example: the government
2. Having it backed up by something else whose value is itself not that volatile
3. Banning the trading as a whole
4. Not letting people sell their holdings for a short amount of time for example you cannot sell your digital gold for couple of months.

This is something that I do think is not really going to happen even if there would be no mining of new Bitcoins in the future because of the supply people would still trade, buy and sell those Bitcoins making the whole thing extremely unlikely.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: Britain To Announce Its Crypto Regulatory Intentions Soon on: April 08, 2022, 05:56:17 PM
Regulations means that they are not keen on banning the thing, let's be honest they are earning loads through gambling and other things which does mean that the government would try and make sure that things goes smoothly for them. They would increase the taxation on cryptocurrencies 100% , have you seen the charges of electricity and gas !? The PM itself said to stop heating up the houses. The things are getting worse and the government is finding ways to somehow get the money in the bank and therefore they are going after the cryptocurrencies ast the moment. They have to make sure that the price of tax is not only reasonable but at the same time it's also affordable. They need to set a cap below which people won't have to pay taxes on bitcoins. Hopefully it would be a positive thing.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 08, 2022, 04:54:42 PM
My take here is to whoever has the most playoff experience, the young guns like Ja Morant, Doncic, etc. definitely has what it takes to get a spot in the finals.

But the Suns have been consistent since CP3 got there, last year was full of surprises and now they have solidified their spot, I'm a big Warriors fan but if Curry can't compete in the playoffs (because of his injury) then I'd definitely go with Suns, DBook and CP3 had a great playoff run last year and an excellent run this season, the team chemistry is there as Bridges and their other teammates have been consistent as well.
Definitely agree with the first statement. Which is why I think bucks in the east and clippers in the west. With the return of leonard in addition to pg and the rest of the clippers, with less pressure on their shoulders. Suns and nuggets are obvious favourites, just don't feel they will get the job done. In the east is the same, nets, I dunno i think the bucks have a deeper team and the reigning champ has showed his dominance in the regular season and more respect needs to be put on his name. He is no longer a liability shooting which is key in the playoffs. I also see the sixers beating the nets, Joel is a monster and although harden has been a liability and is "washed" compared to Irving, with the process continuing i could see them making a deep run. Anyways Lakers are out so what will all the sports jounos be talking about ha.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 08, 2022, 03:57:53 PM
The fact is not all the players would be up for it since the value can go down and therefore they would most probably encash as fast as they can as well. I think that the value of bitcoins would most probably be dependent on the personal experience of the player reciving it as well.
UFC is also adding pay per view bonuses and it would be dependent on the fan base as well therefore I think this might be an interesting event. This is supposedly the biggest sponsorship in the history of UFC as well. But many people are worried about the fact that it might have security issues.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jack Mallers’ Strike Announces Shopify Integration for Bitcoin Lightning Payment on: April 08, 2022, 02:39:16 PM
Look at the first page of Bitcoin discussion today. So  many companies and people accepting bitcoins, the fact is Bitcoin is becoming important and that is why EU had to step up and include it into the sanctions as well against Russia.

Companies who are not accepting bitcoins yet are already behind the schedule sooner or later we are going to see them jumping on the boat as well, this increases the overall value of Bitcoins definately.

We can see a bit increase in price soon since this is something that is is going to increase the general value. Making it more accessible and usable is something that is going to need the general help of the public. Therefore we all can do our bit there.

Educate others about bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies and try and ask people and shops for any chance of accepting bitcoins since this would open up other possibilities for them.
555  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which would be better ? on: April 08, 2022, 02:21:30 PM
Sports games
- if you are thinking about making some profit then ofc the sports games would be the best option since most of the times the chances of you winning would be higher in those games
- you can also bet on certain teams and sports because most of the time players can make a wiser decision because they are aware of the highs and lows of the players and the teams therefore they can usually make a lot of money

If you are thinking of just having fun then you should just go for casino games since :
- they offer more variety
- they are easy and fun
- you don't have to think much and just enjoy.
556  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria Economy before and Now after cryptocurrency Ban. on: April 08, 2022, 11:05:01 AM
It's not just about more job opportunities but you have to understand that something like Bitcoins, connects the whole world's economy with each other, making it better for the people to engage in world's economy and find international jobs which they otherwise cannot do  under normal circumstances since the less developed countries do not have such an integrated system.

Banks are more or see like the middle road, when you are trading, you need them undoubtedly therefore the government should not only provide better rules and regulations but they should also understand that banning won't do a thing since people can also use it without letting them know about that.

They are just going years back now because of banning cryptocurrencies which is getting more and more important in today's world.
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best online sportsbooks this 2022 on: April 07, 2022, 06:52:57 PM
I've been gambling since long time ago and because of COVID19 I started using online sportsbooks, I've used BetOnline and also Bet365. But I want to know your opinion in which are the best online sportsbooks for you this year.
You can try and check the sportbook for Betnomi or Duelbit or Sportbet or Stake or Roobet, you should be good with one, they are all good betting sites, you can use cryptocurrencies to bet unlike using bet365. What I do not like about fiat betting sites like bet365 is the conversion rate, I deposit dollar or the fiat they accept in higher rate and withdraw in lower rate unlike cryptocurrency deposit and withdraw.

Yes but there are still people who prefer things like bet365 because there are so many games there at the same time they have a live betting program which is hard to find on many online sites since some of them does not have fair plays and people generally are scammed by them.

Some of them also provides good bonuses like : 10bet most of the times you would have to look  for the sports book because they don't it won't really work in all the countries as well therefore for example in UK you can see Ladbrokes which is very famous and they provide excellent services..

You have to look for one in your area as well, not just anywhere.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will "hyperbitcoinization" become a reality? on: April 07, 2022, 06:06:12 PM
It is indeed becoming a reality in some of the countries like Ukraine and Russia where people are actually adopting Bitcoins to evade war and make more money somehow using some investment at the same time they are able to pay for properties accross the border using Bitcoins.

At the same time there are various sectors as well who are more interested in Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies as well for example:
1. Rich millionaires
They are finding better investment opportunities and also some of them are using Bitcoins to evade tax as well since in some countries it's not taxable.
2. Students
3. IT experts
4. People living in developed countries

Bitcoin right now is targetting specific audience at the moment which is going to be rewarding for them in the future.
559  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic consequences of Russian-Ukraine War on: April 07, 2022, 05:33:04 PM
Despite all these stats we fail to educate ourselves about the long term consequences as well. Millions of people are starting a new life which does mean that they would be living under poverty for a while and would clearly need help from governmental authorities and other people as well, which would start to diminish after a while as well.

Many students have lost their studies and whatever was holding onto their family in regards to their better future as well, therefore they won't be able to get competitive salaries and good jobs as well. Whatever that is being done is incredible but it's not placing all the students in Universities back.

Many houses and buildings are destroyed, making it nearly impossible to rebuild in a short time, now Ukraine will lag behind a few years.

These problems are not just with ukranians but Russians as well since they are also facing difficulties due to sanctions and this is fairly extended in the EU as well due to rise in the prices of general things like Oil. You can see how prices are rising in Germany for cooking oil as well.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 07, 2022, 04:18:40 PM
Of the 8 remaining teams, Liverpool is one of the favorites to qualify from this quarter-final. They only need to get a draw in the second leg later, and this is an easy job for them especially they will play the match in front of their own supporters. I even predict they will win again for the second leg later. They are the highest team to qualify from the other teams.

In total we have 3 teams that have great potential to qualify Liverpool, Madrid & Bayern Munich while Atlético vs Madrid can't be predicted
Even though Manchester City won in the first leg but Atletico can still catchup , one goal difference is not impossible to chase especially when playing at home Atletico have experience beating EPL teams like Manchester United in previous matches.
Not going to credit villarreal? I didn't even watch the game because I thought it would be a breeze for Bayern. But damn, unable to score in champions league and losing their unbeaten run in how many years? Although it will be in Germany and will throw the kitchen sink, just like athletico they will be very defensive and i think are more likely to cause and upset than city.
Other than that I was surprised by the dominance of real Madrid especially at Stanford Bridge 🌉 tuchel after the game expressed his dismay at the team's performance which is back to back losses for tuchel for first time in his career in Chelsea. I don't expect the 13 time champions to loose in Spain.
