Bigger chunks normally stake a little faster but smaller chunks will also give a good stake result.
Staking with a fixed PoS reward is also a matter of luck, my experience is that sometimes a small
chunk of 30 ORB will stake faster than a chunk of 50+ ORB.
I have 50+ chunks that did a stake after only 24 hours... just a matter of luck... small chunks of
20 ORB will take mostly (much) longer is my experience...

I would recommend to use at least chunks of 40 ORB.

Nice to see the daily volume of ORB at Cryptopia.
Now the price of BTC is very high past days many other alts went down a lot, ORB still very stable Smiley

ORB in the top 9 at Cryptopia today, 13+ BTC volume! Really nice.

A big day and some nice volume for Orbitcoin

Seems like its getting more and more popular

Its been a long steady road with a nice community and competent dev

Might hit 5 bitcoin volume today

Nice volume indeed.
The ORB price is also going steadily up again.

Found a pretty recent article about Orbitcoin:

105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: SUPERCOIN'S REVIVAL on: February 21, 2017, 07:50:13 PM
I doubt you will found developer who is willing to invest his precious time without few BTCs in escrow funds. Try to collect some funds, 50k Super coins won't help, believe me, if you are looking for something serious. Else this project will continue to deteriorate.

I will donate 25k SUPER and if i understand correctly @pro-investor & @apojii will also donate 25k each.
That is 75k SUPER so far.
I.m.o. paying a dev in SUPER to develop Supercoin is recommended.
When a dev holds SUPER too he's more connected (and hopefully loyal) to the project and every positive move Supercoin will
made, the dev will also have advantage of.

If it is needed i can donate some more than 25k SUPER.

When we reach 400k SUPER that would be about 1% of the available SUPER supply right now (which will grow thanks to PoS).
That's a nice amount for a new dev to step in... and he also get's lots of thanks and love from SUPER holders  Wink

I'm working on a Dutch translation for the wallet  Smiley
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: SUPERCOIN'S REVIVAL on: February 18, 2017, 02:03:45 PM
@pro-investor

A real dev who can prove he's a real dev.

@JosNekoKopa

The Supercoin network & Supersend are working great.
Supercoin is listed at CoinExchange, NovaExchange and Cointopay.
Webshops & webservices can use Cointopay to accept Supercoin payments.
There's still a loyal group of Supercoin supporters.

For now Supercoin needs a wallet that uses less memory.

How do you planning to fund devs work and expenses?

That's why i want to donate SUPER to a new dev.
When a supercoin dev is holding a nice amount of SUPER himself, i'm sure he will
be more motivated to develop Supercoin.
Every positive move he made with Supercoin, will be in his benefit too.

Still hoping that Griffith & Barry decide to stay active as developers for Supercoin.
Barry even finished the new Supercoin+ wallet but because of all the negative talk
from some people he gave up his work for Supercoin  Sad

Don't forget, most coin dev's are just people that develop in their free time,
they have a job, a family, other real-life issues, they don't get rich by doing this,
sometimes it will even cost them money and it will cost them even more free time!

For all trolls: Show some respect and gratitude to dev's, if you think you can do it
better, don't talk shit, DO IT BETTER or shut the f-word up!

108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: SUPERCOIN'S REVIVAL on: February 18, 2017, 12:41:09 PM

I will donate 25k SUPER to a new dev.

I think Bittrex just want to get rid of small coins, there was a time it was
needed to have a average volume of 0.20 BTC daily, later they increased
this to 0.30 BTC daily and now 0.50 BTC!

Now there's a pretty good volume at Cryptopia and there are some other
decent exchanges too that have ORB listed (see OP).
You can also trade Orbitcoin at https://crypto-trade.net (many pairs!)

So don't worry... Bittrex was only one of the many...

With Bitcoin going over $1000 again, we couldn't sustain a daily average of 0.5 BTC on Bittrex considering our market capitalisation of $200K or so. I saw no point in asking them for one more month service extension. There is no drama. Cryptopia is a very good exchange operated by people with some integrity since 2014, so I'm fine with it. When the time comes, we'll ask Bittrex to list us again.

Fully agree with you, Cryptopia is a very good exchange with some other nice options, like the marketplace.
And ORB is also available at some other good exchanges. When ORB grows we always can contact Bittrex again.
The average daily volume on Cryptopia is pretty good, much better than it was on Bittrex.

@alex219
There are some buy orders at CoinExchange.

Some more buy orders at YoBit but don't buy/sell CYT at YoBit because the
Cryptokenz wallet is in maintenance for A YEAR (!!!) now (and probably forever!)

111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: January 31, 2017, 12:43:08 AM
Gun.
I found a problem with the bot!
I made a screen shot, but I donīt have a webspace to save it, so I canīt show it here!

The bot sometimes sells for less than it has paid for ...

For example it bought LTC for 0,00431838 and sold it for 0,00428843 !!!

I donīt think it is meant to be this way Huh

I don't think this is a bug.
I.m.o. it is not recommended but did you enabled Bloody Mary?

If not...

It could be that your Gunbot bought some LTC earlier for a lower price, for example: 0,00411000.
Gunbot is not selling all coins directly, some of them will be stored on your Poloniex account.
When they are sold a while later for the price you wrote: 0,00428843 you have profit.

In the meantime when the price is going up, your Gunbot can buy more coins and these will be sold
with profit too.

That's my experience.

If it is a bug anyway i'll hope Gunthar can take a look at it...

hi

is it possible to take pairs like

ETH/ETC
ETH/REP
LTC/XMR
XMR/USDT
.
.
.
or only
.../BTC
?

-----------------
if another bot is running (e.g. CAT) is it for sure they do not trade against each other?
-----------------

now here
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jRhLRAI9CJM1EFnJfToP3N4Mr7f7gyP-gqUMY67UAs8/pubhtml#
is  -0.01671BTC
how long is it running now with
Trade Volume 1.370BTC?

thx

You can trade several pairs but it's recommended to create a new account for that.
Read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1715214.msg17610226#msg17610226

CAT & Gunbot are 2 different bots so yes, they will probably trade against each other.

They are threathening with delisting again. only now they rised limit to >0.5btc/day volume. last time the limit was 0.3 if i remember well.
And it comes less than a month after the day with 19 btc volume or so...

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Friday, January 27th 2017 unless the average daily trade volume for the last 14 days exceeds 0.5 BTC. If you would like to keep the market listed, please encourage the development team to contact us at support@bittrex.com. If you have questions about the policy, please see https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202583874.

0.50 BTC? Are they crazy? They also have fees! That way lots of small coins will be delisted.
Orbitcoin is also listed at NovaExchange, CoinExchange, alcurEX, Cryptopia, Bleutrade, Cointopay.
These are all fair places to trade Orbitcoin.

115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Orbitcoin v1.6.0.0 ~ NeoScrypt ~ Green Stake ~ 3 Years Old on: January 11, 2017, 06:38:32 PM
@allknowingeye

Could it be that you're trying to mine using the Scrypt algorithm?
To mine Orbitcoin you need to use NeoScrypt.
PoW diff is pretty high so instead of solomining you could mine
using a pool.

Orbitcoin added to Bitcoin Garden OP in the list of Preferred Partners:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=948014.msg10413886#msg10413886

It is privilege to collaborate with you, guys! Keep going!

Nice! Bitcoin Garden is a great website  Smiley

CYT market very active at YoBit right now, someone really wants to have some CYT.

https://yobit.net/en/trade/CYT/BTC

Wallet still in maintenance for about a year  Huh

That is some really crazy volume I am seeing today for Orbitcoin.

Not often you see an 18 bitcoin volume with this coin

Nice to see more people interested in this project!

This is probably the best tradingday for Orbitcoin ever.
18+ BTC volume at Bittrex and also one of the most
traded coins at this moment at Bleutrade.
