561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a gambler be a good bitcoin trader? on: November 14, 2023, 10:11:52 PM

So if a gambler where to go into bitcoin trading, do you think that the experience of taking risk in gambling will be an added advantage to face the risk of bitcoin trading?
There is no assurance that a gambler become a good trader and this is why...

With their experience and risk level, we can say that they already have an advantage but it is not just all about experience, it is also about proper management, knowledge, and skills. They could be a good trader if they stopped gambling and focused on their trading journey but if they did not do it, it was useless as they were still about to lose their money.

It is actually not because you are a gambler, you are good at market analysis or good at all ways of trading. Well, you can gain success if you really want to become a trader and forget about the idea of gambling.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every man you failed to lecture about Bitcoin can be a victim to scam on: November 14, 2023, 02:29:32 PM
We fail to lecture them and correct their wrongdoings because they don't care about us as well and they don't weigh much on the piece of advice that is shared with them. Therefore, it was not our fault but theirs, and we don't give pity to such people who never understand our intention and never appreciate our help with them. They will just realize it when they suffer losses at the hands of these scammers.

Well, it is a very usual thing to happen - a person will just realize their mistakes and recall the past when mistakes are done already.
563  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is it difficult for people to get capital easily? on: November 14, 2023, 02:03:20 PM
I know that we all want to become rich and financially stable but not all have been given the chance to make it, some have just become a dream.
In fact, many of the people who have a job have hardly made savings, how much more for jobless people or those who work on the minimum wage and solely rely on their salary, we can never expect from them for sure.

To start a business and having capital is not that easy especially if you don't have that goal as well. As we can see, a lot of people prefer to work rather than have a business and that is because it is not all about money, it is also if you have the capability to run it.
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most you have ever lost in one session? on: November 14, 2023, 10:28:20 AM
What is the most money you have ever lost in one session? could be land base casino or crypto casino.

mine was $200,000 on Stake.com 2 weeks ago
Hope that 200k usd is not your whole life savings and just small fraction of your total wealth , because the way you post here ? sounds cool and just an easy bet for you  as you are not ranting or saying anything against fairness and other issues.

My most Money spend and lose in gambling is just a thousand bucks but that is the only and never let it happen again.
but totaling my whole gambling expenses? i think its for me to not telling.
Is it really believable? I don't think someone to lose that amount, nobody does in just one session.
Besides, you have noticed that OP hasn't complained about his losses, and never felt regret or sad about the results as it was easy to make a story that never happened in real life.

Anyway, losses are usual in gambling and if we can't control our expensing habit, losing more is very possible. A reason why we should have set limits on the amount that we can spend in one day.
565  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price $45k by ending of 2023: AI prediction on: November 13, 2023, 09:44:51 PM
The AI prediction seems quite conservative in my opinion. However, considering the current market movement, I find it reliable and possibly undervalued. Bitcoin could potentially reach as high as $50k this year, especially if the bullish market trend continues. AI predictions are based on real data, so with the overall bullish sentiment among many in the community, there's optimism for further accumulation and observing if the bullish trend will persist.

Well, AI has relied on the data that is stored but with just 1 month and a half left before this year-end, I don't think it was realistic, that is too far from happening. I don't think the current momentum will continue but moving in the sideways seems to happen. The accumulations may not that strong enough to carry the price high and bring huge demand. Maybe saying reaching $40k is very close to the possibility than of $50k. But still, nobody knows exactly, we just based on the data today and in the past years, but we are still uncertain of the incoming.
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding for long might not be the best option. on: November 13, 2023, 12:36:05 PM
There has been several occasions of people saying buy and hold without consedring the negative effect it has impacted on many people live. Lets take for instance, when bitcoin was at ATH of about $69k somany people bought at same price expecting it to hit $100k and above while some baugh at the price when it was 40, 50, $60k conservatively. When it was going down to even $20k people keep on holding. Now it's about 2 years since bitcoin fell and never meet up with the price they baught. And they are hoping it comes back after losing huge amount of money. New investors are are taking advages of it while the old investors are regretting.

So I sudjest sometimes if the market is going down beyond bearable measures, there is need to swap your BTC to USDT to keep your capital safe in other to buy back when it is going up to avoid loosing some huge amount of money.

So what's your sudjestion on this.
It was not the best for short-term holders but for Long-term investors, they preferred to wait for the bullish seasons to arrive before selling rather than taking advantage of the short pumps. These people don't care about everyday market activities, they prefer to remain calm and focus on their target because they are also certain that ATH will come.

What I can suggest is to choose a strategy that you think gives you comfort and a profit, a way of investing that you will never regret.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategies on: November 13, 2023, 11:56:31 AM
I bet first before the game starts and choose my favorite team based on their previous games and winnings. Most of the time I put my bet on higher odds but sometimes, it never wins. Therefore, I could say that even choosing our favorite team or those teams that have good game history doesn't guarantee winnings always, I believe in luck and sometimes these players are also too unlucky and beaten by the other teams.

A reason why I could say that there is no perfect strategy in betting and even if have been doing this for many years, losses are still possible and we can't change that.
568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there still hope for the price of BTC to hit back $69k this year? on: November 12, 2023, 09:53:48 PM
As the market sentiment is showing to us, it was very clear that it was impossible to happen unless there was a so-called miracle event. This year 2023 is not yet a bullish year for crypto where $69k is to be considered on that state but just be considered as a year for recovery. Of course, there is still hope for that but it was impossible to make it this year, maybe next year after halving. Despite the current situation, we can never be mad about it but rather accept the fact that Bitcoin doesn't recover fast and easily after bear season.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Owners of betting companies bet? on: November 12, 2023, 11:13:28 AM
Do owners of betting companies place bet on their own platform or is there a policy specific policy that restricts them from betting. Do you think that there would be conflict of interest or that it will be unethical if owners bet on their own platforms. These are the questions that I am seeking an answer to.
If I am the owner, I surely bet sometimes just to test if the system is working. If not, some of the staff will do that but this does not mean we are betting to win unlike the gamblers do. Of course, as the owner of the casino, I don't think it was pleasing to bet in our own backyard as it was good to bet in another place. If they will, I believe it was for some reasons like betting together with their friends, a friendly game probably.

570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whatever happens, hold on to your Bitcoin. on: November 10, 2023, 03:39:38 PM
Buy, hold, and sell, and vice versa --nothing has changed with this investment cycle.
Yes, whatever happens, despite the approval or disapproval of ETF, this won't affect the movement of Bitcoin as it pumps, dumps, and makes bullish without ETF. I hope this was very clear to everyone that the future of Bitcoin doesn't lie in ETF or in something that it give hype as it grows and is adopted by the community because of its profit potential.

That is why I don't care about ETFs nor bothered about them as I hold Bitcoin and wait for the bullish season to sell them.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What according to you should be the age to retire from gambling ? on: November 10, 2023, 03:02:11 PM
Many believe that gambling is for young people online as they need thrill and and fun. But I think that even old people can enjoy gambling. There should be any age to retire from gambling at all. One can do this activity and leisure time and thus it does not affect retirement related activities also.
It doesn't matter whether that person, that gambler is 18 years old or 80 years already but as long as they can enjoy gambling and still have the capability to do it, why not? Gambling is not about age but for someone who is willing to accept whatever the outcome of their betting habits. I can retire when I want to, not because I was 50 years old already but because I stopped gambling. The most important thing is that we find gambling as a sort of entertainment and fund, nothing else like a tool for earning money.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think gambling is inbuilt, kids don't learn it anywhere, they do it! on: November 10, 2023, 12:43:45 PM
And in this case we can't do anything and have to accept it because technological developments can change anything significantly. And those who play the most role in preventing our children from getting involved in gambling are parents who must always pay attention to their children when using gadgets and playing with anyone, and not carry out gambling activities in front of their children.
Technology development has brought us good and bad influences at a young age. But as we can see, too sad that even kids know about gambling at a very young age due to ads everywhere which is not supposed to happen. I couldn't blame the actions/response of the government but it was too late already what these gambling companies had done already. Even the government will forced to ban ads but since they still allow gambling in their place or country, these kids will find and learn it.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the Choice of Investors on: November 10, 2023, 11:57:53 AM
Bitcoin seems too hot and very popular in crypto which makes it become the first choice of investors while altcoins are just an additional option. If we are looking for a safe investment, nothing can beat Bitcoin.

Remembering 10 years ago while Bitcoin is not yet gaining popularity and hype, only a few see its potential while the majority are just ignoring this. But it has changed already after it hit a huge market pump making huge investors and social media influencer talks about it. It was the potentiality of the project and its use case brought such changes in the entire crypto market.
574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimum amounts to buy and sell a coin when trading on: November 10, 2023, 11:17:42 AM
Hi what are the minimum amounts to buy and sell a coin in the safetrade exchange and in other exchanges? I wanted to start using the safetrade exchange but there is no info on minimum amounts...just wanted to deposit the minimum amount to start testing the exchange
You should know more about safetrade exchanges, better if it was clear to you than risky even with the minimum amount lost because it was not really acceptable in a sense that can avoid it. I don't try this exchange nor do I have a plan to.

Each exchange may have the same or different minimum deposit set and it can be found in their rules.
Well, that is a good idea to choose the minimum first but of course, you can't expect big returns from that amount as well. You've heard enough advice and it was your final assessment is needed.
575  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people needs productive mindset to be happy in life on: November 10, 2023, 04:57:23 AM
Yes, you are right, in every success someone has, it is certain that they have gone through various processes that they have gone through to make themselves successful and they deserve that success. Some of the current generation rarely think about their future so they do the right things. they don't need to do it and it doesn't benefit them. This is truly a shame, so it would be better if someone advised them about this so they can change and think about their future to be better.
A generation that is negligent and does not pay attention to its own future will regret it later when they grow up, because such people usually do not listen to advice from their own parents. So you don't need to think about those who are careless and just prefer to relax because they will experience difficulties in their own lives so you only need to think about yourself to be successful because other people do too so you can make yourself successful without having to think about other people.
There is no time for us to relax now, especially if we are young as this is the best time to prepare ourselves for the future and get ready for what is coming.
As inflation keeps on growing, we have to be practical enough when it comes to expenses, or else, they have reason to regret later. Which why we encourage this new generation to become responsible as early as possible and think about a better future. Carrying a huge responsibility at a young age may help them someday.
576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What conditions might cause you to stop gambling? on: November 09, 2023, 10:35:00 PM
I'm always on the lookout for what is making me break the limits on what things I've set a margin to. For instance, if I have a budget on gambling and for some reason I notice that I have started going off budget, I will call it quit for a period of time that allows me to see a disconnect between me and the gambling habit.
Self control has to be the key if you must control gambling.
Self-control is very important in gambling as we'd never say that gambling was wrong unless we got out of limitation. We don't need to borrow money for this sake and we don't have to compromise our finances as this will cause more problems including family relationships. It is indeed we need to know when to stop and stick to our limit and most of all, we need to carry an attitude of being a responsible gambler who knows the welfare of their family, not just seeing their addiction to gambling.
577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes to watch out for on: November 09, 2023, 09:42:13 PM
The only reason that makes me lose in trading is letting my emotions control my mind and then, out of my strategy.
I tried to work it out and so I took my break, and I know this is very common to everyone.

Trading needs focus and a high level of market understanding while skills can be learned through experience but what happens the most is that they underestimate the market volatility believing that learning the basics is good enough which is very wrong. We'd thought that we could dictate the market movement but too unfortunate that we can't, so we never have to assume that we can it okay, instead we need to work hard and spend more time learning about trading.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 09, 2023, 02:12:37 PM
What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?
- never consider gambling as a source of living
 - never think that gambling makes you rich,
 - avoid getting into debt, use your personal money instead

Gambling is full of temptation especially if you follow gambling influencers which is why you should be careful with your actions and think deeply before doing. A lot of people got involved in crime because of their addiction, we can make it as a reason why we should control our emotions and greediness.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge coin everly hit $1? on: November 09, 2023, 11:06:37 AM
Why do altcoin don't have the characteristics of bitcoin? After the creation of bitcoin thousands of coin surface the crypto market, some altcoin became a huge success but some still reamain dumant and has no hope of even attaining the high of $1

Dogecoin is one of a long time COIN that has been in existence for over 10years now. since December 2013 dogecoin hit 0.0000869 on may 6 2015 and today is $0.076 now am wondering if it could reach $1price after 10years compeard to Bitcoin.
After all, not all people know that Bitcoin is a unique creation and different from others which is why we can't compare altcoins. And this is because of these things;
 - key role and function
 - profit potential
 - trust and market confidence

It is not a question why altcoins including Doge can't compete with Bitcoin because, in the first place, they don't deserved it. Yes, thousands of altcoins, are new projects but guess what, most of them are scams and useless. In fact, Dogecoin became popular because of the influence of EM, not because of its function.
580  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 09, 2023, 10:31:55 AM
When it talks about financial stability, that is the time when we are not worried about the future --we can think about multiple sources of income. We can say starting to build a good career at an early age makes not impossible to gain such financial stability before 40. However, this will depend on the situation of the person, it is advantageous if you are coming from a rich family for this is not hard to reach. But for average and poor people, even at the age of 60, some of them are still working hard.
