I'm convinced they dumped most of that money into btc investments and are cashing out slowly and refunding people while making filthy amounts of money on the BTC growth over the last months. They will end up sending out a soso product after the first company or two beats them to the punch then will claim they still sent out what they promised performance wise which at this point I wouldn't trust.

I wont lie but your story seems pretty legit but no one know for sure so all we can really do is sit and wonder but i don't advise that.

I think people should understand when having millions of dollars and at such sudden rate company's would and will do anything to keep it until providing the actual product. they didn't have maybe have the interest of the people when telling everyone the shipping dates but dont get me wrong they are trying to keep a hold of the amount they have without people asking for refunds so its kinda understandable.

If they had never, ever delivered a functioning product in the past I'd be far more suspicious.  But they have.

I Agree Also, that's the only reason why i have faith still in the company

If they come, beginning to feel a little paranoid about everything that's going on...... Heard rumors that BFL might be going bankrupt also. (cant verify this though)

I'm pretty sure that if there going bankrupt that it really dosen't matter,, everyone would lawyer up and sue in which BFL knows that. no need to worry, im sure next month will be the golden month

You might think about getting a used netbook off of ebay.  They are cheap as hell.

Any good brands you know of?

Do you have a mining rig that you are using right now?

as of now no, i stopped because i thought the shipments would unravel sooner then i thought.

This is what I ended up choosing, mostly cuz you could get the MK802, uSD card, USB hub, and ethernet adapter for under $75. Check it out:

The other thing that worries me too is that if people of her age no disrespect to her or anyone of that age but mistakes can be made and would they really be up to the mining challenge..

I run a 14 staff / 4 shop series of bottleshops (Alcohol only retail store in Australia)

I've got a lady about her age (60ish) who is about 5" 6' and wouldn't weigh anymore than most women her age.
But I would trust her to.

-Put away several tonnes of alcohol a day
-work 12 hours straight no problem
-doesn't conflict with other staff
-do accurate till and stock work

I'd trust her to do more work and of better quality than ALL of my staff under the age of 30.

My point?

Don't dismiss somebody because of their age, it makes you look like a retard.

o.0

Now if your staff member made a scratch on a bottle, would you still sell it?
I don't think they were judging on their age, over the fact that shakey hands might make that solder hit a wrong area, but still be placed off as 'cant hurt nutin'.

If there Hired then they must be able or capable of doing the work don't you think?

I'm sure of it. it seems to me your a sore buyer that just wants his ASIC asap.

NOT A BFL STAFF

Didn't buy an ASIC, Id rather waste my money elsewhere. Besides, they said they can pump what was it 900 of them out a day? I think I can wait 3 days after launch to order mine. I was just clearing something up.
Anyone is capable of putting a chip on, doesn't mean they have steady hands. I wasn't judging anyone, he was comparing someone stocking a shelf, to soldering equipment that some people paid $30,000 to buy.

" doesn't mean they have steady hands"......."I wasn't judging anyone"

Seems like a Form of Judging to me. just drop this, your point have nothing substantial in your argument.

I was just looking at these yesterday. It's known that they are based off linux, specifically Gentoo (due to it's ability to specialize your builds and adapt to just about any hardware). It also seems pretty trivial to install a more generic brand of Linux like Ubuntu onto an SD card, and boot off of that. Once you have Ubuntu, downloading dependencies and compiling CGMiner should be pretty straightforward.

The bigger issue seems to be spending $250 on a device to do this. There are other options (including ones that have a screen/keyboard) that can be had for cheaper than $250.

i was thinking about buying a RPI but there was a back order of 25k and not only that i did see these little mother boards that are almost $75-$120 that someone on BFL Forums talked to me about but if anyone else has an idea on what to use There BFL Products on lets spreed the possibilities for everyone!
