This is only displaying the arrogance building up on the Slock.it team. That's why I have huge respect for Vitalik Buterin. He doesn't talk bad about other people's efforts. He wants the technology to succeed and he 100% believes in his own project. Therefore he doesn't need to make other projects look bad. I have the same mindset. Why should I talk bad about other people? Sure, some ideas are not good and I can mention that. But dismissing an entire project just because for the own sake? i remember when ethereum started ... very very similar to lisk ... all talk - then more talk - ico - financial backing through the ico / ipo / crapio - some development - more talk - much more rules and regulations on what can and cant be done - a little more dev work - much more marketing and btc generation - make more friends with money - pump pump pump dump - then do all over again ... i see this happening here also unfortunately - but with a small twist ... there IS actual dev work going on in the backend ... im neither here nor there with eth or lisk or any other pumped coin for that matter ... i give kudos to those that started this great idea of making themselves a HUGE amount of money by starting a marketing campaign for an idea - then getting btc / fiat to back it ... the owners ( yes - i said OWNERS ) of lisk and eth are doing a great job in making themselves rich ... but the difference is very stark ... rich is short lived - wealth is not ... so if a development of a system that EVERYONE can use SIMPLY is devised - then wealth will be the one thing that the project can boast ... anyone can boast about code and apps and pumps and dumps ... not everyone can boast ( let alone prove ) that the wealth thats accrued was from a system that is USABLE by the vast majority of people ( NOT companies - PEOPLE ) in existence today ... look at microsofts products ... is it the best code on the market? ... NO! ... is it the best operational systems on the market? ... not a chance! ... is it usable by almost everyone that touches it ( no matter how unreliable and unstable ANY of their code is ) ... damned right it is! ... case closed ... the massive PROMISE is what everyone in the lisk and ethereum camps are counting on - and obviously BETTING on ... if any of these coins / camps / projects come out with something that is useful and readily available for the masses to run with - then it will be the bluray of todays crypto industry ( as opposed to the 'technically better' but no so marketable due to lack of financial backing HDDVD ) ... i think ive made my point ... and im tired - so im going on a bit ... bottom line is - i dont really care that a business makes money ... almost every business does that to one extent or another ... what i care about is a usable product that will make life easier for the everyday person AND is easy to use - that WILL create a wealthy business ... which means its a healthy business ... in the very short term - we will see ... only a few months from now ... i can see it on the horizon ... btc anyone? ...  ... #crysx This is very normal. In the beginning nearly every project is just talk. They need to talk to get the money. It's the team behind the project which will work tremendously hard for years, achieving their dreams and building the best product possible. I can see that at Ethereum and I can see that at Lisk. At the end of the day I agree with you. User experience is key. Therefore, at Lisk I put a heavy focus on that. Obviously, this can't happen from day 1. In the beginning security, optimisation and robustness is more important. However, once the initial period is over we will shift towards new features and an enhanced user experience. And once we are at a convenient level, we will shift stronger towards an extraordinary user experience. I think every projects intends to do so, but not every project can actually do it. Anyway... any word on this 502 Bad Gateway error on testnet.lisk.io?
Lisk v0.2.2 is finished, changelog and blog post are written. Oliver worked until 9am in the morning on the version and is now resting a bit. Once he is back, we will release 0.2.2 and start a new test network. DAO is just ETH with a constitution. it's a new form of 'ICO', Initial Constitution Offering. there's no direct investment proposition...yet. it's a 'pig in a poke'.
do you think the price will be above or below the ICO when it reaches exchanges, and why?
Everyone can get their ETH back until the first project is funded. Obviously everyone is putting their ETH into the DAO. If the DAO token price is higher at launch than ETH, they sell the DAO token. If the ETH price is higher they demand their ETH back. The final amount raised by the DAO will be the amount of ETH left, once the first project is funded. Right now the numbers are inflated. Nonetheless, it's a huge success and I wish the DAO holders the best luck. The majority of invested ETH obviously comes from a few individuals and I hope they make the correct investment decisions. |

I'm afraid (meaning I'd bet serious money on it) that you are severely underestimating how much list it will take to get into 101.
You'll have zero chance to get near top 300 with 500 000.
There are 100,000,000 and 101 delegate spots. A lot of the LISK will be on the exchanges and a lot of people will not vote. Also needing to expand to 15 people is a possibilty. Lastly, some people will have more than 50,000 (like myself  ) And I think only 85,000,000 will be available at launch I think to be an active delegate it requires to have about 20M LISK voting for him. Maybe more. |

Also can you please officially confirm that the launch date is sitll May the 24th, 2016?
Hello bitcoinbox, I hereby confirm the 24th May. As it is written in the OP and the latest blog post. Oliver is currently developing day and night with the help of two community members (Rabid and Fixcrypt) to make Lisk ready for launch. He is fixing some stuff which came up with the last test of snapshotting edge cases. The problem was, that if you take a snapshot while you are in a fork and now distribute it, and the majority of the network takes your snapshot, the network itself becomes a fork mess. He is also working towards releasing Lisk v0.2.2 this week and reset the testnet. I am currently working closely together with transformPR and other individuals to hype Lisk up again for launch. I prepared a very tight schedule for new blog posts, which will from now on appear quite often. Additionally, we will push out a lot of press releases to get more articles on outlets. I also plan to buy some advertisements on various crypto pages. Practically, Lisk should be everywhere. Joel is working on the bounties as usual and is the voice of the community. He is speaking with a lot of Lisk users on our Lisk chat, answering our support requests, and helping us with other internal stuff. Additionally, he is working some interesting topics for launch/soon after launch. A LOT is happening in the background, and I'd love to see more Lisk signatures again and you guys talking everywhere about Lisk. (Without spamming ) It would also be great if you contact every exchange to list LISK at launch or soon after. Please don't feel pressured to launch on May 24 just because you announced it. I rather see Lisk delayed by 1 more week to solve all these bugs: We waited long enough, so 1 more week is nothing to have successful launch with no hiccups. WOW. WHAT A LOT OF BUGS ON CODE!! Dev want to launch with those bugs? Crazy. Please take a look at my comment one page earlier. These are not deal breakers for launch. |

If you'd have a good idea that you planning to develop, would you tell it to everyone? I would!  But I'm usually very open with my ideas. I think the biggest ideas are: - Sharing economies (think Uber, AirBnB) - Decentralized Storage as a Dapp (think StorJ, Sia) - Decentralized exchange - Decentralized Torrent - Decentralized VPN - Internet of Things are you in Berlin 1st June? Gut gewesen jetzt - Leute  Aye aye, Sir! ^^ Zum nachfolgenden Post: ich finde, dass das ein guter Zug war. Viele haben noch Crypti im Hinterkopf, wenn sie an Lisk denken. Was mir nicht ganz klar ist: bezieht sich das verlinkte Post komplett auf die Unterschiede zwischen Lisk und Crypti? Also, sind alle gelisteten Punkte explizit Unterschiede zu Crypti? Ja. Das sind alle Punkte aller bisherigen Changelogs am Lisk core und Lisk UI. Intern wurden noch viele kleinere Sachen am Code geändert, aber da lohnt es sich nicht das aufzuzählen. |

dao raised $20m without me unless your implying by me posting pulled 20million investment which would have gone to lisk if they never changed launch.
Wrong, everyone simply invests into the DAO and see how it does. They can get 100% of their ETH back before the DAO invests into the first project. So it's a 0 risk game and you can't lose anything. Also all those people are heavy Ethereum supporters, many are only investing into Ethereum projects to see their Ethereum stake rise in value as well. If the money stays in the ecosystem, it's good for the ecosystem. The majority of the DAO investors would never put the invested money into Lisk. |

Beruhigen wir uns jetzt mal wieder. Was ich meinte, war lediglich:- Wenn du ein "Standby Delegate" bist oder einen Full Node betreiben möchtest, dann reicht ein $5 VPS. (Der VPS nützt dem Netzwerk in Sachen synchronisation, sollte der Node aber ausfallen schadet es dem Netzwerk nicht) - Wenn du ein "Active Delegate" bist, dann sollte das Beste vom Besten her. Viel RAM, viele Cores, DDoS Schutz, etablierter Service/Support. (Da es dem Netzwerk schadet, wenn ein "Active Delegate" ausfällt) Ganz genau. Und deshalb habe ich ja bereits geschrieben: (...)
