Hi guys.

Does this program support EWBF miner?

Yes, it's built in.

Quote
If so, is there any guide how to set it up ?

You don't need to set it up.  AM will set the command line correctly.  You just need to define a pool, a miner, and then tell the miner to use EWBF on that pool.  AM does all the work from there.

Is this program heavy on resources  ? CPU/memory/GPU
Thanks!!!  Smiley

Not especially, no.  I run it on a simple virtual machine on one of my low-end vmware nodes.  The node has a low-end Athlon 5350 CPU.  I gave the VM two cores and 4GB of RAM.  It runs fine... runs an average of 15% CPU on that piddly VM with the resources given to it.

Ok perfect. And please tell me, is there any decrease of Sols when using AM ? I want to stay at max Sols obviously. Thanks!
no there isn't any, AM uses the miners you want it to use also AB

I've never encouraged this error before:
Code:
Connection aborted by the remote computer.

I relocated S9 farm, changed the LAN subnet and added all miners again to the awesomeminer, I connected to all of them (old batches) except of two (new batches), I did try everything I could find in config and properties but with 0 luck, I know I'm missing the simple config or something like that,
any help would be much appreciated

Are all the S9s on the same subnet as the computer that runs AM?  Are there any conflicting IPs?
0 conflicts and they are on the same subnet of course, I think that AM can't access those 2 S9s because of API maybe? But what changed after just relocation except the ip address itself? nothing

104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer A3 earning $500 a day mining SIAcoin . .WHAT?! Results & Stats on: January 28, 2018, 07:58:39 AM
I was using Antpool for Mining Siacoin with my new Antminer A3 machine. The machine connected at 8 pm yesterday UK time and now its 8 am uk time.

The machine is hashing. But no revenue.

Please see the attached pool network hash power too. Lot of people started mining and moved. Also the total block solved is shown as 0.

Is Antpool failed against Siacoin?

Anybody have a similar experience with antpool?

105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Rig Heat Dissipation problems on: January 28, 2018, 06:56:55 AM
Hi folks,

Anybody got some tips on how to dissipate heat from mining rigs?

the cards are reporting about 55-60C but it warms up the space quite well.

Normal room temp is about 10-20C over here.

Goes up to about 23-25C.

Thinking Im doing something wrong. Been running a fan at the rigs 24/7 but heat seems to get trapped in the room.

Saw some youtubers with air flowing thru across the room. No AC.

How do you guys deal with heat issues?

Is it necessary to run an AC when the temps go up to 20-30C ?

Thanks in advance, folks!

you should calculate you room sq³ and than get an air exhaust fan according to your room
also left some window maybe for air to flow in, it will do the job

Where would you stick the exhaust fan? unfortunately the room isnt arranged for this type of config.

Is anyone doing this in a custom built backyard shaft?

That seems like an ideal solution to me.... custom shaft with just enough sqft to house the rigs, with intake and exhaust fans... but would take much more work than Im presently accustomed to....
all my farms are in a buildings that support such a config, I never did it like what you said, but I'm pretty sure that will be fun to build also much more efficient when you are fitting building to rigs not vise versa.
Also the config is quite efficient even tho temps in summer hit here 29-31C(July-August), the goal is to keep the same temp inside that's outside

People are buying these for over $5k on eBay  Huh What are your thoughts on that?
couple weeks ago I finished building farm of D3s for one customer of mine, 50+ D3s and I even remember his call back in September asking me what to buy D3 or S9, even tho I was insisting on S9 and they were 1415$ then he bought bunch of D3s
in conclusion I can say that they are checking only purchase date profitability and don't look forward
it's bad people are so greedy even tho you are trying to help them but who cares in the end everyone gets what he deserves

i think the A3 will end the same way as the D3
imo they will last longer than D3 did due to lower quantity
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Remote access and screen resolution on: January 23, 2018, 08:50:45 PM
I know but I won't have it tonight nor tomorrow.
Maybe I could cut my cable and solder some components but that's a bit of a pity.

I can't believe there isn't a software solution!
forget about cutting cables and soldering stuff, I did it and it ain't working, you can try thou
best sollution for that for me was to buy 100+ hdmi to vga adapters but it was on different mobo
anyway if you find anything please share, would be interesting to know
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Remote access and screen resolution on: January 23, 2018, 07:53:20 PM
I chose TeamViewer because it was easier over the internet (I don't have to know my dynamic IP address).

But I'm willing to swith to RDP if it allows me to force a resolution.
you should try it, I never had those issues on Asus Prime Z270-A motherboards, I even got a VPN router for my farm to be able to connect to LAN and use RDP safely, before that I was using Radmin, but RDP is way better
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can i use 2gpu's for either and 1GPU for electronium on: January 23, 2018, 07:49:47 PM
hi, was wondering could ise set up claymore to use 2 of my gpus for graphics mining and use the 3rd one for electronium?

havnt bought the 3rd gpu yet but was thinking bout getting a rx560 to dabble a bit in electronium
you can define a number of GPUs in Claymore miner and left the GPUs for other mining software for other mining software
you can use -di command in Claymore to select GPUs
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why eth hashrate gets slower? on: January 23, 2018, 07:47:04 PM
I get the same hashrate on 480s what I was getting a year ago with just blockchain drivers
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Remote access and screen resolution on: January 23, 2018, 07:45:51 PM
use RDP instead of teamviewer
it's an easiest way
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 580 Sapphire Pulse vs Nitro for Ethereum Mining on: January 23, 2018, 09:21:00 AM
Does anyone have experience mining with the Sapphire Pulse vs Nitro rx580? From my research it appears they have the same memory clock.

However, I see a lot of people recommending the nitro and nobody recommending the pulse, is there a quantitative reason for this?
I haven't tried Nitro's but here are my pulses and I'm more than happy with them, they are stable at this hashrate and cool

Nice!  How are you able to achieve this?  I've tried everything from switching drivers, switching OS's, flashing BIOS, and when I go to adjust gpu and memory clock in afterburner, trixx, or AMD's wattman it always lowers the hashrate.  What is the secret?  I can't get more than 26 out of each card no matter what I try..
first of all what memory do you have?
for Hynix CoreV -93; Powlim 0; C0reclock 1366; Memclock 2150 and a custom rom https://mega.nz/#!j84ThS4T!7y7CB1nrtyktipCLTBfYHqJuqJ4_5fAxwHz2k9WrnD4
your pulse 4gb or 8gb?

Payment Date: 2018-01-17 15:35
Paid+Valid but Unshipped (with UPS)
Still waiting.

I got the tracking number of DHL, but the miner is still not picked from Bitmain. So, its almost nothing, NO ETAs till now.
I think FedEx is better, DHL not good and UPS really bad with Bitmain.  Angry

Mine is FedEx, it should reach me by Monday 22 8:00 GMT time.

You are lucky. Which country are you from ?

THAILAND. Just 4 hours from where they shipped.
So many people imported Bitmain ASIC in recent months. So, we should not have any problem with customs.

Hey, have you got your A3s yet ?

Ordered couple of miners last year from bitmain, and was far from simple dealing with Thai customs, as you have to register yourself as an importer, and register the company you are using for delivery. They also changed policy beginning of 2017 and they now charge 10% of total price, plus the 7% VAT. Hope you knew about that, because otherwise, you can forget your monday delivery.

Also, I have had much better contact with Fedex, than UPS.

Anyway, please let me know how it went for you.

Thank you for your concern, really appreciated. I got the machine last night, 6 hours later than expected (Due to FedEx just would like to confirm me a minor issue for product declaration). Thank you for your information. My trick is, I imported it under "company name". This company registered with the custom few months already  because I regularly bought 1-2 Bitmain ASIC  every month. The Customs will ease the process when you are company which will make it more convenient than individual. Of coz, FedEx is best speed comparing with UPS and DHL.

Now the machine run and I received around 440 SC / hour.

may I ask when was your order placed?
I ordered 17th and they shipped it today
115  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEX.IO on: January 21, 2018, 11:37:19 AM
Unfortunately, we must acknowledge that CEX stole our money. It's time to send a lawsuit against CEX. I will create a list of CEX debts and pass it to a law office in the UK. It is very important to publicize the CEX case in the social media so that other users do not lose their money. Personally, I will collect materials and send them to several large traditional media, I have personal contact with the Polish biggest newspaper and radio station. We are looking for people from Ukraine who will coordinate a court case in Ukraine against the Ukrainian company CEX and personally against its CEO Oleksandr Lutskevych, and someone from the UK who has contacts in local media and will want to set up a CEX case on our behalf. You have to organize and run a procedure to cut off this company from our money. Please send the following data to the email address: cexscam@cryptoanalyzer.info
1. Name and Surname
2. Date and amount of the deposit / withdrawal
3. cex account ID, deposit / withdrawal method
4. Please attach screenshots with a visible CEX account ID number and the amount of the deposit that has not been credited to the cex account or a visible withdrawal from the CEX account that has not been credited to your bank account (Payments tab).
The data will be used only to start a lawsuit in the UK and Ukraine, and to block their accounts in Poland and Germany which I noted during correspondence with other users.

I will also write to the reddit administration, bitcointalk, trustpilot and several smaller websites for a warning on the main page in the CEX case and link to this post.
yes it sounds good that someone will do that, but it also seems suspicious to me, nevermind.
And if this guy is in Ukraine I can go there and beat the shit out him, if it helps

paid on 2018-01-17 20:07 so I feel cheated others are getting it faster.

Yep, my payment was credited one minute after yours,  I used UPS also, no tracking number and showing unshipped.  Seems like everyone with tracking info used DHL or Fedex.  I guess thats good to know in the future.
imo it's only labels
not the actual shipping company shippment maybe

Dang, I should have snagged one.  I was chillin at my computer when the email notification came through and could have had it.  But I don't mine anymore.  Cheaper to simply buy coins...especially today.
cheaper but with 0 fun
I grabbed one
It will be like D3, but still will be way more fun
