1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SPECTRECOIN | Anonymous | Stealth-Staking | Tor | Ring Signatures on: Today at 12:42:04 PM
@Gandalf86 Yes Alias is a better name. But that is it. What does Alias stand for? Its just an alias for spectrecoin, the true name of the project.

I think it is meant to indicate the idea of anonymity, even though technically the coin implements true anonymity and not pseudonymity.  Wink  Personally I would have preferred a name that is closer to the idea of hard cash, but hey it's still better than "Spectrecoin" which itself has nothing to do with anonymity or cash at all.

But even if you think that the name change gives the project such a big advantage, why is the market showing the opposite? Price dropping and order books empty. And the market does not lie.

Don't worry about short term market movements too much. As I said, the name mostly affects the future marketability. Right now, most people still haven't heard of the project so you should not expect an immediate effect on the market.

Yeah you can try to make a fundraiser for the android wallet. But IHMO this train has long gone. The community has already lost the faith. you can see this on the pathetic every day "Good Morning" greetings by the team and the shill circle at the discord channel.Instead of having a real conversation of what is going wrong, they censored the same what I have freely expressed here at bitcointalk.

Why the team spend so much energy on this stupid rebranding? Which has as you all can see now the opposite effect of what it was supposed to be?
Instead they could have used the money not to hire a stupid marketing agency which just costs money (which they don't have) to simply build the Android wallet???

"What should have been done" is easy to say in retrospective. I'm sure the team is trying to make the best decisions and you never know beforehand how effective certain decisions will be, or when/if they will have a cumulative effect.

I've been investing in cryptocurrencies for a long time and the best advice I can give to you is to buy and forget. Don't count on short-term market effects because the market rarely behaves how we expect it. Just try to help the project while you are having positive expectations, and cut the losses and sell your coins if you are sure that the project will fail. The only thing that matters is long-time development, and right now I think the outlook is quite positive given that there is continuous progress.  Smiley

Btw. today I learned that there is also a roadmap on the new homepage, which is quite interesting:
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SPECTRECOIN | Anonymous | Stealth-Staking | Tor | Ring Signatures on: October 23, 2020, 09:06:04 AM
@someiotanow Not sure why or what you're complaining about?  Huh  Alias is an objectively better name than Spectrecoin. Few people have heard about the project before and after, so in terms of existing brand recognition it doesn't make a difference, but can make a difference in the future. I guess the team had some experiences that brought them to the conclusion that a rebrand would be necessary, even if that does not seem obvious to everyone. It's definitely more than just "activism".

The new wallet looks great, mobile wallet is being worked on. It is planned to be released in December. It's a small project with almost no funding so things naturally take some time. If they hadn't raised coins for themselves through a hardfork, it all would have taken even longer, so people would still be complaining. I assure you that IF they had 200k to spend, things would look much differently.  Wink

You have made the following, valuable suggestions:

  • Android wallet
  • Light wallet
  • Integrating into multicoin wallets
  • Start a fundraiser to speed up development

Those are good points, I think the first three are already on the roadmap (I would add the suggestion of having a public feature roadmap). I will forward this to the team in case they aren't reading here. Smiley

do you have bounty program

Hi, yes - you can join our Titcoin hype squad on Discord. Hype Squad members can earn 500 TIT per week by being mentioning Titcoin on social media sites (min. 3 posts and 10 comments per week). For more details, please see the pinned post in the #hypesquad channel on our Discord.  Wink

OP please add to the list of exchanges supporting TIT Smiley

Done!  Smiley  I have added a cautionary notice because your exchange seems to be fairly unknown. In order to establish trust with potential users, please provide as much information about your exchange as possible, for example a Bitcointalk thread or references from reputable sources ... Thanks for listing Titcoin on your new exchange though!  Cool
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: September 22, 2020, 01:09:14 PM
ok BTW. for Titcoin newbs... THERE ARE NO TITS in titcoin. go for real TITS  Wink

Oh we have plenty of tits, just check out our NSFW subreddit  Wink :
Most of these posts are from real Titcoin users who have received TITs for showing their TITS.  Cool

If you would join our Discord you would see that we also have some tits over there.  Smiley
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: September 22, 2020, 08:12:14 AM
hehehe everything is fine until they're not......newbs out there---> watch and learn  Cheesy

Oh btw. for Titcoin newbies I have created a simple tutorial that explains the process of buying and selling altcoins, which is pinned on our NSFW subreddit:
Important part in the notes at the bottom:

It is advisable to never store any coins (Bitcoin or Titcoin) on cryptocurrency exchanges longer than necessary, because crypto exchanges often get hacked or go out of business. You should always store your coins in a software wallet on your own PC or mobile phone, where you have full control over it. Similar to the Titcoin wallet, there are also software wallets for Bitcoin, for example the "Electrum" Bitcoin wallet or various mobile apps.

This applies for all exchanges btw.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: September 21, 2020, 05:57:09 PM

The old project returns with a new innovation, but unfortunately many people don't like the YoBit market because of the scam, I hope TITCOIN  can enter other markets that are much better than that. I wish you success

I would definitely not recommend Yobit, their Titcoin wallets have been in maintenance for an eternity and they did not upgrade their wallet as far as I know, so they are still running the old wallet from 2014.  Roll Eyes  Yobit is doing super shady stuff all the time so people are totally right when staying away from it.

Please use Unnamed Exchange as the new market: + (insert your shitcoin here) = what could possibly go wrong? LOL  Grin

UE seems like a solid exchange from what I have seen so far. They are honest about who they are and what they do. Sure they have a small listing fee (part of their strategy of getting a market share I suppose) so they list a lot of small coins ("shitcoins" you could say) but that doesn't mean that it's bad.  Wink  It's definitely a step forward coming from Yobit if you ask me.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: September 19, 2020, 03:37:02 PM
you can mine, directly into your exchange wallet.

as long as you setup the payout properly on your pool  Smiley

Thanks ... do you have a guideline for this, that explains what a proper payout rate or minimum payout size looks like?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: September 18, 2020, 11:16:37 AM
Hello everyone, I am happy to announce that Titcoin has been added to a new exchange named "Unnamed exchange"!  Cool  This is the first time Titcoin is listed on a public exchange after Novaexchange closed their services last year.

Unnamed exchange is a small but growing exchange operated by a long-time member of the altcoin community, TillKoeln. Here are some nice-to-know facts about our new exchange listing:

  • 8 trading pairs, including BTC, LTC and DOGE
  • No KYC (i.e. no personal information required)
  • Important note for miners: Mining directly to the deposit address on UE is forbidden and will cause your account to be locked!
  • The required number of confirmations for Titcoin deposits is 1440. This means that depositing Titcoin to this exchange will usually take between 1 and 3 days. This is currently necessary due to the small size of the network and the low mining difficulty, so we will be able to speed things up if Titcoin gains more popularity.

Twitter announcement: Please share if you have a twitter account Smiley

Feel free to ask any questions, and happy trading!  Smiley

Best regards, Gandalf86

Watching. This seems like a very solid exchange!  Cool  Great work based on what I have seen so far.

Titcoin Update

Titcoin version has been released. This release extends the deadline for the upcoming Titcoin softforks (an important upgrade to the blockchain) by one year, so that the network has more time to establish the new rules. All infrastructure providers like pools, solo miners and block explorers must upgrade. For users, this update is optional but recommended.
Additionally, there is now a second download option for Windows users, a standalone executable that can be run without installation and therefore does not require administrator rights.
Check out Github for details:

We have an offer from "Unnamed Exchange" ( to get Titcoin listed for only 0.05 BTC. Would somebody here be interested in sponsoring this listing fee so we can get Titcoin listed there? The Yobit wallet has been down for many months, so being able to trade Titcoin again would be appreciated by many users.  Smiley
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: August 20, 2020, 06:26:26 PM
SegWit voting using versionbits has started!  Cool

  • If you are mining and still haven't upgraded your wallet to the latest version, you must do so as soon as possible if you want to support the SegWit softfork for Titcoin.
  • If you are not a miner or pool operator you don't have to update your wallet, but it is still recommended.

You can check the current deployment status using the "getblockchaininfo" RPC command in the debug console window. The threshold is 90%, or 38889 blocks of the current 43210 block period.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡[ANN]⚡ ▐░Espers [ESP]░▌▐░PoW/PoS░▌▐░HMQ1725 Algo░▌ ▐░New Features░▌ on: August 18, 2020, 01:23:43 PM
The unclaimed coins (totalling ~2 Billion ESP2) have been put into a locked wallet designated as the "Community Fund" (we will be releasing the pubKEY for community members to view what happens with the wallet in order to offer transparency to our community).

But you are right, since there is no account holding 2 billion Espers, this means the coins were spent.

Anyway. At some point in time, when the coins were premined for the swap, 1 address was holding the entire amount for the swap, where the 2 Billion coins unswapped were left over. That is the address I want to see. That's the question.

Luckily this is a public blockchain so everything is publicly verifiable on the block explorer. You are probably looking for this transaction:

Apparently the coins were not premined to a single address, but were pre-mined to many different addresses holding 50M coins each, starting with block 11 on the new chain. In the above transaction, 2 billion coins were moved from those pre-mine addresses to the address EHCnQ4CEpbayNng7eW74J9NKqan5Wivbkx on 9/11, 2016. Remember that the swap was carried out by Novaexchange as an escrow, so balances of many different users might have been mixed during the process, which unfortunately makes it difficult to trace back exactly which coins belong to whom.

With respect to the previous discussion, the only thing I can say is that Espers has never been marketed as an investment vehicle and has always been clear about the fact that it's mainly an experimental blockchain technology project by Cryptocoderz. Trading and speculation with crypto tokens is a natural part of the game like you said, but it has never been the purpose of the project and nobody of the team ever asked anyone to purchase coins on crypto exchanges. Everybody who still does so knows about the risks and is doing so strictly on his/her own responsibility.

So if you are complaining about the lack of progress, lagging behind the roadmap and calling the project a "scam", you seem to assume that Cryptocoderz or other people who have contributed to Espers owe the investors anything, which is not the case, because by definition, any announcements made are not promises and prospects made for investors, but simply a declaration of intent for the sake of transparency. Again, it's not a commercial project and sometimes there can be delays or other things getting in the way. Everybody in the Espers community knows this and is ok with it.

Now, even IF Cryptocoderz at some point made some money with this (which he didn't, like he said, but of course we can never know for sure), then I'm only happy for him because he's a fine guy who always cares more about other people's issues than about his own and clearly deserves some compensation for that. If you have been following the project you will know that he clearly doesn't swim in money so there is no reason for envy or any other kind of animosities here.

Wallet on YoBit is still in maintenance mode and not allowing deposits.

Yes, unfortunately that is right. It has been like that for over two years. I tried messaging them about it multiple times, but never got a reply. If you can somehow get in contact with Yobit support about it, feel free to do it! I think one problem is that the listing contact / administrative contact email address that Yobit has was among the accounts that were sold by the previous developer, so we don't have any control about what is happening on Yobit any more.

Generally I strongly recommend against using Yobit anyway because it is one of the shadiest crypto exchanges that exist, so I'm not particularly sad that they have disabled the Titcoin market, except for the fact that we have no alternative exchange at the moment.  Roll Eyes I think that if we manage to get listed on a different, more reputable exchange, that would be a much better option.

No worries ...

Working on that as well mate Wink

Sounds interesting, tell me more!  Cheesy

Btw., the first soft fork is active, old blocks v2 by old Titcoin miners are being rejected from now on. If someone did not upgrade their Titcoin pool or miner yet, please do so ASAP.

Unfortunately our block explorer at did not update their wallet and they do not reply to support tickets, so it is no longer recommended. If you need a block explorer, please use the one by our community member KriptoKyng:

We would hold your account ...

No matter what, no matter when. We would lock it under our secure system, the BTC address and all information held also. We would keep it active for you until the day you wanted to come back, where you would only have to request it back.

Some people here ARE trustworthy, and you are one of those people mate. We would have no issue looking after anything you left in our systems and Company.

Thanks for the kind words.  Smiley  I am trying my best to keep things trustless, i.e. to make everything verifiable so that trust should not be necessary.  Wink

I think the biggest problem right now is getting listed on an exchange! Unfortunately getting listed on exchanges is so hard nowadays, and those that are willing to list demand huge amounts of money for it.  Undecided

If anybody here has any idea on how to get listed on a public exchange for free, or if you are interested in donating an exchange listing fee, please help!

July 2020 newsletter is here!
Please read more about what we have been doing around branding, the mobile app and a preview of our updated Roadmap.

Thanks to the team for yet another exciting newsletter!  Cool

I remember that about a year ago a developer left you and created his own fork. I am not confusing anything? They promised to carry out an airdrop and distribute a new coin in a ratio of 1 to 1 of the Spectrecoin coin balance. How are things going with this?

Hmm I think you're confusing quite a few things here. The only thing that ever forked from Spectrecoin was "Wisp" ( which I supported back in the days. But we simply didn't follow the hardfork that was done by the main network, so it was a classical forking scenario, not a new chain. That was two years ago, not one. It never got much traction and is basically dead nowadays.

There are no other forks from Spectrecoin as far as I am aware of.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: July 29, 2020, 11:21:22 AM

There is a Fake ANN about your ANN here :

He writes that your Account got sold and he has taken over the Coin now ! I guess thats not right or ?

You can read more about that all in my thread here :

I have reported the User and the Thread and hope it gets deleted soon .

Regards Lafu

Wow that's crazy! Thanks for letting me know. Apparently the thread has been deleted by the mods already. I guess the user tried to mock the way I continued Titcoin development, but he forgot that there is a thing called verifiable information.  Wink

That being said, my profile is linked to a Bitcoin address for verification, and I will never sell my account here. If I ever leave crypto world, I would just not use this account any more, but never give it to somebody else.

Show me the boobies!

You can check out our community subreddit or join our Discord if you want to see boobies.  Smiley
