1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this still a good time on: February 28, 2021, 01:57:35 PM
Is it over already or it's not too late to invest in altcoins right now? I'm new to this crypto thing and I've been told to invest in top altcoins or BTC but the market isn't looking so good and I don't know if this is still a good time to invest or wait for red market

If you can see the market last week is really good, I mean the prices have gone up. Now it's slowly decreasing. I think if must study the flow of prices. You can also read some comments in here but really it's up to you if you will follow other people advise.   Good luck in whatever decision you will make.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long can this BULL run last?? on: February 08, 2021, 12:45:43 AM
Just a curious question.
How long can this BULL run last??
As there will be a huge correction inevitably.

Would love to hear different strategies or exit plans or Hodlers
Which coin should we buy now?

Guidance from old Experts would be appreciated!

Hard to say though, but I will say this, we are not yet officially on the BULL run for altcoin market.

Why? Bitcoin is still dominating the crypto market, so far only Ethereum has surpassed it's all time high and the rest are still struggling although they are making a good run and it might take months.

For Holders there are no plans except to buy in the dip. So we are still far from the BULL run, still a period of accumulation for some top ten altcoins.

I agree, really hard to say until when it will end but as I have noticed unlike before this is not a bull run yet. Only some altcoins especially Ethereum are on it's highest peak but bitcoin and other cryptocurrency are still on their lowest value. They are not moving yet.  The strategy is still buy on the DIP and sell on the highest value. Bitcoin for is still at a good price to buy.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: December 13, 2020, 05:16:25 AM
In Our country bitcoin is legal and we have this wallet in where we can exchange bitcoin into cash. We can also use it to pay electricity bill, water bill and even buy some stuff online.  We can even use it to book for a ticket, order food online. If you want also cash you can transfer it into your bank account or thru money exchange you can send it to your own name or your family. It's easy in our country.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin pump and dump on: November 24, 2020, 02:37:16 PM
Hey guys,
I've checked some intersting altcoins which are pretty cheap now, the projects look promising and legit but I'm still afraid that they could be another pump and dumps (there were so many of them already!). What are the signs or metrics that send alert signals about the projects and I should check deeper or not risk my money? Or is it just impossible to tell if it's another pump and dump scam project.

Nowadays it is really hard to risk or gamble your money into investing in some coins that you are not sure. It is really hard to determine which project would have a better future . I think you should study their roadmap. You can invest in Ethereum I think that would be a good idea. At least ethereum has already its name and umber two cryptocurrency .
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 19, 2020, 03:43:19 PM
I don't think so. The price of Ethereum now is that that really good compare to the previous years back but remember the Ethereum  price was only started like 11 usd way back when its launched. Also Ethereum has its name already in the crypto world, so I don't believe it will die and gone. It has been the top 2 cryptocurrency for a long time next to bitcoin.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: November 19, 2020, 03:32:34 PM
Let's say I have a huge amount of money as an investor, where do I put them? Bitcoin or Gold

We all know that gold is known for its stability which could be vital in times of financial crisis; but doesn't exactly bring good return  WHILE Bitcoin on the other hand can be quite profitable  but it's risk of negative volatility can be catastrophic!

So which has your vote? Gold or Bitcoin!!!!

For long term investment I would prefer bitcoin. I believe that bitcoin will have a good price in the future. Gold is stable compare to bitcoin but you are right it doesn't really bring good amount of income in return. Bitcoin is risky but I don't think it will drop down that big. Beside the price of bitcoin now is at good buy for long term investment.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 19, 2020, 03:10:56 PM
It is no surprise that dumping comes often when the project was just recently launched. And dump is being done by almost everyone who have bought the project, who made the project, who participated with the project. It's a combination of all those people who holds the token. But mostly, it's caused by the whales who are holding those tokens. This is becoming the norm for the newly launched projects, you become late to sell it then you'll miss the higher price that you should about to sell it. Also, check how much is the percentage of tokens from the total supply of the project is allocated to that bounty to think that the dump is caused by bounty hunters.

Very well said. It's not really true that the dump is only caused by bounty hunters to think that the percentage given to the bounty hunters is just little to really affect the price . It really do think  its from the whales who are holding big amount of tokens and sell them right away to avail the higher price.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite project these days? on: November 16, 2020, 12:44:28 AM
What is your favorite project these days?

I think Ethereum it's the best project. haha

There will be projects in various fields,
1. Please tell me your favorite project.
2. Recently, let me know what you think is the best project and what the area of the project is.

There really so many projects these days but If I were to choose based on the considerations of long term investment I would choose ETH and BTC. Because these two have their names already. They maybe going up and down but they are the most stable for me.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I accept Bitcoin for payments on my online store? on: November 14, 2020, 01:44:57 AM
I'm considering to possibly add Bitcoin and other altcoins as a way to pay for goods purchased on my online store.

Is this a good idea? Are there any risks (other than the volatility)?

Is anyone really going to use this?

I'm afraid that my customers may not be much into cryptos, but I guess that it's hard to tell until you try ...
I also have some doubts on the technical side.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance

I think it depends in your country or place. If you know that there are many people in your place that are into cryptocurrency then you can try but I think it is too risky as they are volatile. You can try but make sure to study also the flow and prices of cryptocurrency. You can save and sell in the future but make sure you have enough capital to sustain your business. I hope this helps.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: November 13, 2020, 02:23:09 PM
blamed bounty hunters for the dumping of any coins is not reasonable for me
because not all bounty hunters will dump their rewards as soon as possible when the tokens tradeable on exchange
sometimes, the project didn't have enough demands to push the price up and make the price down because more sellers than buyers

Very true. Not all bounty hunters are trading right away, some are also waiting for the right time to trade their coins. it can affect the price but not to blame because after all if the project working well and progressing , meaning many demands  it the price will pump. It depends really on the project , how they manage it.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happened to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: November 11, 2020, 07:33:11 PM
Survive ? i think yes if bitcoin and crypto legal in all country.
But, If we talk about prices, maybe we can see the exchange rate of dollars around the world.
If bitcoin or crypto legal, i think they same with dollars condition, they will always dump and pump.

I completely agree with you. Bitcoin survives even it is not legal in some countries how much more if it will become legal.  Dollars are everywhere and you can exchange it from any money exchange around the world because it is US currency whereas Bitcoin is digital currency so its limited when it comes to usage. And it is volatile, the price is not stable.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not money on: May 29, 2019, 10:31:51 AM
Bitcoin is not money.

It is more an artwork with 21,000,000 limited editions. And each limited edition contains 100,000,000 limited pieces. (satoshis)

Bitcoin is not money but you can convert it into money through exchanges so for me I still consider it as a money as I can use it in paying also my bills.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I pay taxes when I sell an alt coin for bitcoin? on: March 31, 2019, 07:55:54 PM
If you turn any of your coins into usd or your local currency, depending on your country's laws you have to pay taxes but if you exchange cryptocurrencies you don't need to pay taxes.

True, If you exchange any of your coins into usd  or into money you should pay taxes but if its bitcoin to altcoins or any coins I don't think you will pay taxes.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to invest in a couple alts.. on: March 31, 2019, 06:47:41 PM
in my experience it has never been a good idea to go long in any altcoin which is why i have never "invested" in any of them. i always stick to bitcoin when it comes to long term and then continue treating altcoins as short term potential trading tools to make a  quick profit during their pumps and then selling them before their dumps begin. that way i guarantee my profit while reducing the risks and also increasing my bitcoin wealth.
I agree I am also sticking in bitcoin for a lon term investment but I also invested in ethereum because same as bitcoin, ethereum is also a top coins and has also its name already . It has its own platform and used in trading. Maybe aside from ethereum I will recommend ripple as there are many big companies and banks who are supporting it.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All life with cryptocurrency on: March 31, 2019, 03:24:55 PM
I am sure that the cryptocurrency will very soon enter the life of every inhabitant of the earth and will remain for a long time. Cryptocurrency does not stand still, it is constantly evolving.

Yes I believe too. Cryptocurrency will soon be part of everyone's life. As we are now using technology in our life.  We are now uaung cryptocurrency in paying some of our bills. Sooner it will give a big impact in people's lives.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: alt millionaire on the next bull run on: March 31, 2019, 11:56:43 AM
That's a good goal if you are just planning for 'money', but are you sure that altcoins you are buying are not shitcoins?
There's a lot of shitcoins nowadays, so be careful. But I also believe that there are many shitcoins are still making money $$, even they are really a big shitcoin, money still there, so it's ok. What my I want to happen is altcoins should help the Bitcoin for it's problem or even in helping the adoption of Cryptocurrency.

True, buying altcoins is risky. You're determination to become a millionaire is there and it is a good sign but make sure the alts that you are buying has a future not those alts who became nothing and don't have value at all.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: March 31, 2019, 11:31:18 AM
I noticed this phenomenon. Often someone buys up all the proposed tokens with a small amount of trading (for example, look at SMT on hitbtc this night), and after a few days these tokens go up in price very much. Is it worth buying such a token?

It's quite risky but its worth it when its value skyrockets. You just have to pick which token to invest make sure that their technology is promising and theirs a room for the value of the token to skyrocket in the near future or else your investments will go down the drain. Sometimes most of these tokens are just used for pumps and dumps so invest only an amount that you can afford to lose.

I Agree that it is so risky to buy tokens especially nowadays that the market is not good. Some tokens are good to buy and suddenly it will rise up and after a few months there is no value anymore that is what we call pump  and dump. So I need you must chose the right tokens to buy.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Future of Ethereum? on: March 28, 2019, 09:10:40 AM
Ethereum has its name already and next to bitcoin as the top coins in crypto world. I think one day it will grow more bigger and has a good future. I think it is also good for long term investment.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New project in 2019? on: March 24, 2019, 06:14:08 PM
How many new projects have you entered earlier this year? As much as in 2018?, please give your opinion about the new project that is currently available. Let's discuss its potential for the long term. Thank you.

There are so many projects also this 2019 but I can't see the project yet who has a potential for long term it is because of the situation in crypto world right now.  But I hope there are some that it will become successful.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The worst story continues again. on: March 24, 2019, 04:55:41 PM
The value of top coins dropping badly again, the market is unstable everything seems to be complicated. The worst scenario of crypto continues again as most of them were believing that this time there will not any downfall but crypto market has different thoughts.

This is normal in  crypto world. It is just that this time it really hit the market  for a long period of time. But I still believe that this will end soon. When we join crypto world we all know that this is not stable and very risky so we are aware  about this and know that this is normal to happen.
