Is there a good tutuorial that explains how to start mining..I download it all but i can't get it to run.
No readme..no help nothing. Thats pain in the ass sorry but so it's for the trash,

You didn't state what is your HW configuration, what exactly have you done, what all have you downloaded.
What exactly it is saying. No writing, no nothing. That's pain in the in the ass, to help then.

Can I mine like this?
rig1=port 4004
rig2=port 4003
rig3=port 4002

From one IP?

Why? Multiple instances on one physical pc?

No, I wrote, rig1,2,3, so I mean 3 physical PCs.
And btw, I found few blocks without opening a port.

Hi,
I have Sapphire Nitro RX 470 OC 8GB with Samsung memory.
When I took bios with gpuz, or atiwinflash, I see this weird values.
http://imgur.com/a/Afz2z
VRAM is witten with weird characters, and GPU voltages after 466MHz are ridiculously high,
is it safe to modify and flash this bios?
cheers

You can find everything, here on the forum, it is NOT necessary to create another same thread everyday.
I'm sick of these lazy people. Give me everything on the plate, in front of my nose, right here, right NOW!!!

676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PCI expansion question on: September 29, 2016, 01:09:46 AM
Question.

I made a mistake when I purchased my first mobo (ASRock H97M Anniversary )for mining Etherium.

 The description said 6 slots, and I thought it was 6 PCI slots. I purchased 6 GPUs, and now I am 3 slots short. Can I use an Ebay find, which is a
PCI Express to 3 or 4 slot USB adapter card to add the extra GPU's? Or do I have to purchase a whole new mobo, and start from scratch?

Thanks in advance.

BillU

lol, sell your hw, and forget about mining etherium...

this VRM is sucking so much. Yesterday my wallet was up to date, today it is searching for 3590 blocks!!!!! No pool mining possible, VRM price touched the 6000 sats yesterday, there´s nothing possible to see in a long way. i know a lot of you will now come and say i have no patience but this coin comes way too early...

You would better leave with this attitude...

I've tried changing ports, restart redis, but it's still in there.
Also I tried to make clean install on second machine, and I'm getting same error in there as well.
And now I'm stuck, and can't move on.

Yuck, what version of node is that running on? I think there sounds there be more errors about it crashing and in what line.

I have v0.10.25 on both machines. You think it's a problem? Because It was working fine, with this version.
And I'm sorry, but I'm not sure, what you mean, with your second question.

Well this algo is using cca 400Mb RAM per thread, so gpu mine is not that efficient in this case,
but it would be nice to see 800, or maybe 1600MB per thread. You will get rid of bots
for sure, surely not all, but most. Same case with zcash, they stated, if 1GB will not going to be enough,
they can go to 2GB.
