1BTC! on: December 19, 2012, 06:07:49 AM

Armory

因此得到wallet.dat就可得錢包內的錢.

All infomations and replies upstairs are still too complicated for me - a non-IT geek with medium intellegence and limited knowledge of English language.

I need explicit steps, how to do it, eg. steps one buy one.

I want my bitcoins theft-proof and lost-proof under any circumstances in the future, that's all.

1 BTC reward is still valid.

Anybody can render help to me?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=130503.0

IT geek.

Make sure you are disconnected from the internet before using BitAddress.org or BrainWallet.org ...
Thank you very much for so many clues anyway. But how can I visit these places when my pc is disconnected from the web?
1072  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is trading(ask) 0.01 on Mt. Gox ?? to keep price down? on: December 13, 2012, 03:02:36 AM
On a Chinese BTC exchange where I usually trade, there used to be nobody making 0.01 trade. But this morning I bought 0.01 BTC for 85.90 RMB (local currency) same as the ask price then while the bid price was as low as 84.10 as I remembered.  The turnover price remained unchanged there for more than a hour, so could I boast that I had successfully manipulated the market for a hour?   Cool

I'm not a native English speaker and have limited ability of understanding English text. Whoever has taught me the complete knowledge of how to make the memory wallet and paper wallet (for private keys) and reuse them later on, I'll pay 1 BTC to his address within 24 hours. Need detailed methods step by step, no kidding, thanks.  The would be teacher, please send your info (should include necessary web addresses and pictures etc.) to my email: goldlyre@sina.com , or else, you just paste it here if you don't mind. After you have sent the info, please let me know.

1076  Economy / Speculation / Re: Marketcap perspective on: December 07, 2012, 02:49:32 AM
What if you compare the marketcap of Bitcoin with that of the apartment suites of premium quality in Shanghai?

The current price of one suite is about 14 million USD plus, and that shall account for 10% of all bitcoins already produced today.

1077  Economy / Speculation / Re: I forced the 10 day high last night. What do you think about that? on: December 06, 2012, 10:33:15 AM
In city of Shanghai where I live, an apartment suite of premium quality can be sold for 10 million Chinese Yuan which equivalents to US $1.6 million. If someone sells a suite of this kind (there are at least a couple thousands of them) and uses the money to invest into bitcoin, he can get 118+ thousands BTCs and thus enters into the World Top 10 Fortune List of Bitcoin.   Smiley
1078  Economy / Speculation / Re: When in 2013 shall Bitcoin break its all-time-high of $31? on: December 06, 2012, 10:14:25 AM
What are the m-of-n transactions?  Huh
1079  Economy / Speculation / Re: When in 2013 shall Bitcoin break its all-time-high of $31? on: December 06, 2012, 01:29:31 AM
There are 3 likely possibilities for Bitcoin. The first option is that Bitcoin continues to be a currency of the niche. Most of you are thinking along those lines. That is the route of slowing growth rate. Even in that case Bitcoin can break the all-time-high quite easily but it will take some time. The second option is that Bitcoin gets destroyed or fails somehow during the next couple of years.

There is a third option you're not really considering, which I find strange. There is the possibility that Bitcoin really finds some uses that make it lift off and enter mainstream. I believe the possibility of this is not insignificant. If that happens, we will see a growth rate far beyond of 2012. The price would go through $100 like a knife through butter. Instead of 100's of millions, the market cap would be in the billions.

Remember that the spike in 2011 was basically Bitcoin becoming known at all. Mainly in the technology & libertarian circles. If Bitcoin hits mainstream in usage, the spike in 2011 is a blip that will look like a straight horizontal line in the graph of the future. We don't know if this will happen or when it will happen but I think that 2013-2015 is the time it will likely happen if it is to happen.

So in conclusion I'd say that if Bitcoin starts to really show its potential in 2013 we will break through $31. Like it's nothing. However that might not happen or it might happen in later years. In that case there will be a slowing growth rate that is fairly linear, for a while longer at least.

You're absolutely right. For bitcoin's unique properties and obvious potentials to be possibly adopted in the future (as a ideal money universally acceptable, easily stored and transported, and highly divisible ), it's market cap up-to-date is only $140 million that is astoundingly small. 40 days ago when I heard and joined it, I felt that the market depth was so thin (I buy bitcoin on a Chinese exchange named BtcChina which is ranking as the 10th biggest in the world in term of daily trading volumn and in the local currency RMB), so those monies bigger-than-I (I'm really a very small shrimp in comparison with those huge sharks!) shall surely have ever bigger difficulties than me to find a way sneaking into in. So my conclusion is that if ever the Bitcoin goes mainstream in any extent the price shall go to da moon!
1080  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Blockchain Data Suspends Now? on: December 05, 2012, 04:20:01 AM
210935 was created 3 minutes ago but at the time of your post the oldest block (210934) was over 1 hour old.  Remember block generation is random so while the AVERAGE interval between blocks is 10 minutes it isn't that unusual to see a 1 minute or 60 minute block interval.  2 hour block intervals are pretty rare but still happen occasionally.
Thank you so much. I'm a newbie in this field.
