1  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can less the unemployment rate? on: February 01, 2019, 02:45:23 PM
It might be hard to lower unemployment but people adopting bitcoin will definitely benefit from not having hyperinflation. They might not have many places to use their coins but it will be a safe haven for them. Also with more people wanting to pay in bitcoin online, people in second or third world countries can start accepting them for their services much like a fiverr.

Primecoin has always been a fav on mine, even though its a shit coin, I like its fundamentals. Current price is at $0.15.  Lips sealed

I do have friends that use these glasses but I never have, I have already formed a habit that after an hour being online working I go out and walk for 15 mins. It not only helps with my eyesight but refreshing my mind and stretching out my legs, I come back energized to keep working hard.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Blockchain and Crypto on: January 29, 2019, 02:29:18 PM
As of today, the blockchain is already being adopted across many industries and is here to stay. Bitcoin on the other hand is up in the air, no one really know whats going to happen, but it does serve a purpose. Only time will tell how far this will go, hopefully into worldwide adoption.

I don't believe anyone has mentioned the show Start Up, even though its not a movie, it's hands down my favorite crypto related show, I have yet to find anything better.

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCf_MpXAXK8

YouTube Comment: "If this show was on Netflix, it would be crashing servers and winning awards."

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To save bitcoin - stop buying bitcoin cash on: January 27, 2019, 06:25:59 AM
BCH had a good run while it lasted, after all of the bad press and schemes behind it ruined its rep. There is still a lot money invested in it, I just don't see it going anywhere anymore.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy not top 100 alts? on: January 26, 2019, 11:30:15 PM
I don't invest in a lot of coins, I furiously study each one I care about and invest in a few, spreading yourself too wide won't really make you that much in the long run.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency has come to stay on: January 26, 2019, 08:33:33 PM
I completely agree with the title, even though btc might not make it through in the next 10 years, there will be a dominant coin. I could also be wrong, btc has many issues that has to be fixed to even handle a large economy so either it will be tremendously advanced or another coin will take it's place. Either way I'm here to stay so yea Smiley
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Next Bullrun on: January 26, 2019, 03:12:05 PM
I really don't think we will be having anymore bullruns, this year I'm predicting that there will be more businesses built on crypto to form its own economy.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment? on: January 25, 2019, 06:44:50 PM
I already use it to pay a lot of my current bills, I even get discounts when you pay in crypto. I say first see which services you use that accept crypto and will give a discount for it, I'm sure you can find many that do. My dream would be that one day people stop paying attention to the price and really use coins in their daily life.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 best year for ICO on: January 25, 2019, 02:32:16 PM
I think after all of the hell that we have all gone through this year might actually be prosperous for us, only thing that could really bring us down would be some regulation issue in the US that bans btc, but I doubt that will happen. By 2020 things will start picking back up.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistake you should avoid when holding your Altcoins on: January 24, 2019, 10:11:43 PM
my main issue is that I fall in love with the coins and don't want to sell when I need to, then it drops and I regret it, and all the same cycle again lol

15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Coingig.com Beta - The New Bitcoin Marketplace has Arrived on: January 30, 2014, 09:46:40 PM
We have finally released our new and improved bulk upload tool that many sellers have been waiting for!

To be able to use this feature you will first need to become a Power Seller, please email us at support@coingig.com if you have not done so yet so we can have it enabled.

Once you have become a Power Seller the Add Batch page will be activated and you can generate your batch file.

Please visit that page first to become familiar with the steps on how to generate your file.

To start customizing your file you will need to know a few important tips.

1) Do not remove the cell names from the first row, they are needed for bulk upload to function properly.

2) If you don’t want to ship a product to a country you can add “NA” without quotations inside the field.

3) If you want to change the category of a product you can simply replace the existing category code in your file with another category code below, you will only need to add the code for it to work.

AA – Automotive & Industrial
AB – Books
AC – Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
AD – Electronics & Office
AE – Grocery, Health & Beauty
AF – Home, Garden & Tools
AG – Miscellaneous
AH – Movies, Music & Games
AI – Pets
AJ – Sports & Outdoors
AK – Toys, Kids & Baby
AL – Art & Collectibles

4) Image URLs need to be linked directly to the image file or it will not upload.

5) The Note field is optional and can only be seen by the seller.

6) Product name should be between 5 – 250 characters long.

7) Description should be between 5 – 2000 characters long.

If there are any questions please feel free to contact us.

Nice looking site. I signed up for the affiliate program but the links I've created don't seem to show up when I paste the HTML in my site. Is there a waiting period?

Hi there,

Could you write to us at support@coingig.com so we can take a better look at this issue, our affiliate program is still in beta so there may be some bugs.

How does our Escrow system work?

We have had many users ask us how our Escrow system functions, so we wanted to go ahead and provide a step-by-step guide on how a order is processed.

1) Buyer locates the product they want to buy and finalizes the order

2) Order displays the total order amount with a wallet address of where to send the payment

3) Once the order is paid, seller is notified to send out the product to the buyer

4) Seller sends out the product and marks the order as shipped from inside their account

5) Buyer receives the product, confirms that everything is correct, and marks the order as delivered from inside their account

6) Seller is now eligible to request payment from inside their account

We hope this guide could help with any doubts ours users had, Happy Shopping!

This policy is somewhat worrying. Any tips for sellers not to get scammed? Looks like besides videotaping the posting process there's not much that can be done on the seller's end to protect from buyer scams?

Hi there,

We don't process refunds back to buyers that easily, there is always a case that is opened and as long as there is a good amount of proof from the sellers end such as a receipt of shipment and they are open to answering any questions, we will be able to evaluate which party is the one scamming.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Name something you've actually BOUGHT with bitcoin on: January 21, 2014, 05:38:33 AM
Although hoarding bitcoins and not spending them might make you more money, if people don't start using them to buy things the value is not going anywhere and bitcoin will just become an inflated stock taken over by an alt-coin that embraces spending.

several weeks ago I have asked you to include  -EU- or -European Union- as a shipping destination and you said it will be implemented. Can you please add that feature because postage costs varies depending on the country and listing a product with all countries shipping fees it's just very time consuming and complicated for the seller. I want to update my store with new products but I can't because of this issue. Thank You!

PS nice to see that the photo does not disappear anymore after you edit your listing. Keep up the good work.

Hi there,

Yes you are right and we completely agree with you about this, sorry we have not gotten around to it but I'm going to let our programmers know so this can be added soon. Could you help us find out if there are other unions or regions that we should add as well? We would appreciate it.
