Please could I have some help...
The mining software (usually some Claymore miner) takes forever to connect, sometimes well over 30 min. I have set serialisation to max to help stagger the startup processes but its still not connecting to any pool.
Running 6 AMD Card on Windows 10 with the latest AMD drivers (set to compute mode).

I am getting error: cannot convert blob data
how to fix this?
add this -pow7 1 Thank you... If I was running the miner without -pow7 1 for several hours, does that mean my shares were not doing anything? Unfortunately yes, you were mining on the wrong algorithm so your several hours of mining were completely wasted well thats annoying! should have kept an eye on the change log... although i guess -pow7 1 should now be set to default by Claymore IMO

Hi,
I thought I would give Awesome Miner a try after seeing a number of positive reviews.
Are there any good / up to date sites showing step by step how to configure the software for Multi Profit mining on MiningPoolHub?
Thanks

ok, i sold a gpu on ebay, with no returns but they returned it anyway. when i sent the gpu out i could get 30mh tweaked. when i got the card back the most i can get weith the rx 580 is 15mh has somthing changed in the etheruem or software or is my card now slightly burnt out?
Guessing you have tried to flash the BIOS with the one you use to get 30MHs? Did you make a note of the serial number of the one you sold?... maybe the buyer returned the same model but different/faulty card.

Is it really a 'rig' or just a single card? You can't run 8 threads for anything over 2 cards iirc. Even for a single card, more than 2-3 doesn't increase hashrate anyway.\ EDIT: don't know how i missed the build info W/ 6 cards, 8 threads is def a problem - try 2 instead. Thanks I tried changing threads to 1 and 2 and the output is now: [12:02:52] Set default algorithm to phi [12:02:52] Set algorithm N-factor to 10 (N to 429496729) Then it stops

Could someone help please, I am running the following (with my wallet and rig name) but all I see is the 'Welcome' Screen of SGMiner then it closes. setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
sgminer.exe -k phi -o stratum+tcp://pickaxe.pro:8333 -u ***WALLET*** -I 20 -p ***RIG***,c=LUX what is wrong? 4x RX580 8GB 2x RX480 8GB Windows 10 Latest AMD Driver I also tried: -gpu-platform 2 -w 128 --thread-concurrency 4608 --gpu-threads 8 --nfactor 10 -v

Could I have some basic help please...
The line below gives me semaphore timeout errors: PhoenixMiner.exe -pool europe.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20585 -wal username.worker -pass x -proto 1
What can I do to fix the errors
Works without problems here. If the username is not correct, you will get the following error: Eth: Unable to authorize worker username.worker I was able to mine ZCL on miningpoolhub with the same username/wallet/password. Changed to ETH and got the errors. Do I need to add http:// to the -epool??
Also does Phoenix support SSL pools?
Thanks
Not yet but SSL support will be added very soon. Great thank you.

Could somone help me work out why a GPU starts with 0 Sol? Then I see OpenCL GPU Hang errors.
GPU is ASUS Dual RX580 8GB Stock BIOS and with Ubermix 3.2 mem strap both lock up
For testing the GPU is running off its own 750w PSU, so I don't think its power.
Changed PCI riser for a new one
Card is only 2 months old, could it be faulty?

Hello. I have 7 gpu mining rig. 2x 470 1x580 4x 570 Asrock h110 pro btc+ ddr4 4gb ram 250 ssd
I can mine etherium, cryptonight,... but when I mine claymores ZCash I get blue screen with video tdr error (atikmdag.sys) The gpus have modded bios.
I try boot windows, older drivers, other setup (asrock h81 pro btc r2.0), underclocked, deafult wattman settings... problem the same... I also have computer with nvidia 970 and rx570 and I can mine zec with no problems... Anyone know, how to solve this problem?
Same issue here even on stock everything. RX 580 rig. Same here... @claymore can you help? My setup ASUS B250 Mining 8GB RAM G4400 CPU 128GB SSD 4x RX580 2x RX480 3x 750w PSU Mining ETH is very stable 29-31MH/s accross the cards. Switching to ZCL gives immediate OpenCL errors GPU 1 & 4 don't even start up before the miner resets. Tried -old and -i 1 switches but that didnt help

Hi,
Could someone help with troubleshooting my issue.
I can mine ETH only at 30-31MHs without any issues.
If I add a DCR to my miner file, I start to get openCL errors. I have tried to lower the intensity but errors still appear, what could be causing this?
Miner: Claymore v10.2 Miner Batch: EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xWALLET.WORKER -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.pool.mn:4801 -dwal USER.WORKER -dpsw x -dcri 10
System: Windows 10 Fall Creators Latest AMD Driver (17.12.1) 4x RX580 8GB 2x RX480 8GB 2x 750w PSU ASUS B250 Mining Motherboard 8GB RAM Intel G4400 CPU 128GB SSD 6x PCI Risers v007
GPUs are BIOS modded I use OverdriveNTool / GPU Profiles to ensure the clocks and voltage are all the same.
Thanks in advance

Thanks @claymore
Looks stable and no issues to report yet.
(AMD 16.10.2 - RX480 - 8GB - approx 40S/s per cards)
Just got to work on the power draw now... although temps are good, 60c / 25% fans

Could I have some help pleaseeee...
Rig overview: Win 10 Pro AMD 16.10.2 XFX RX 480 8GB
Issue: When running older AMD drivers, I am able to load custom ROMs (using the driver sig method). After updating to 16.10.2 the drivers are showing a warning in Device Manager... therefore Claymore will not mine.
Troubleshooting carried out: Reset WattMan Flashed back to Stock ROM Uninstalled GPUs in Device Manager Ran AMD Removal Tool Installed 16.10.2 < GPUs working on Stock ROM at this point. Flash custom BIOS (Boysie Low Pwr 29Mhs) < Was working on older driver without issues
Am I missing something, why cant the custom ROM load with the newest driver?

Thank you for the valuable information... I will take a look into a hosted space in a data centre but I think it could still be more than the monthly return.

Hi All, I am stuck trying to work out some costing, the power rating of an S7 is around 1300W but how much is that in kWh - is it 1300*24? Energy in the UK is expensive and I highly doubt I would make a profit with this costs below: Electricity - Unit rate: 12p ($0.17) per kWh Standing charge: 26p ($0.37) per day VAT: 20% Miner - S7 power consumption:1300W Hardware Cost: £700 ($1000) If someone could help clear up my query about the kWh, that would be great Thanks

I can't help but feel that Mike's article was purely to scaremonger the market into selling up and for him to make a large profit. It's good to see a decent reply from Ron and hopefully we start to see a rise in the value of BTC today. I have just got into mining and only connected up my ASCI miner on Saturday, as Mike announced his departure and degraded the future of the Bitcoin! I am make a loss at the moment on energy consumption and need to decided if I should keep it running. My 2TH/s miner has earned 0.014 BTC ($5.30) yet has cost $7.20 in electricity
