If anyone would like to know what staking looks like, here

http://imgur.com/a/tToU9

lookin neat. whats your stake weight? I'm quarreling with my wallet again because it's not staking the whole wallet, only a lil bit of it (like 2/3) right now.
1288603 for the moment but it changes a lot I think because I deposited into the wallet at so many different intervals. You think it would be better if I sent the whole thing to myself just to consolidate times ?

...

Also if you are holding 1 million or more vidz join our channel on slack: https://vidztoken.slack.com/messages/whaleclub/details/

yeah, I just dont get why this is dithering so hard. monitoring my weight/total wallet amount ratio between 10 - 95% > time to earn reward fluctuates between minutes and 10+ hours

I split my wallet into several addresses, maybe I do have to hold all vidz in one address for staking properly?

thats kinda strange

EDIT///

just found staking_with_multiple_addresses_in_qt_wallet ($rdd) > https://www.reddit.com/r/reddCoin/comments/2mp7i3/staking_with_multiple_addresses_in_qt_wallet/

when I get this right, I have to merge all addresses to one again to stake properly in full throttle

I make about 50 a day

uh yummy, with all vidz in one address or do you have several addresses in your wallet?

Is there a (small) how-to-stake guide? I've send an amount to my windows wallet and as far as I understand it, it needs 250 confirmations, do I still need to do something afterwards? Or do you automatically 'enroll' after 250 confs?
thanks

250 confs and you're good to got, just unlock your wallet to stake when encrypted (recommended)

hovering the thunderbolt icon (black for staking, grey for inactive) shows you your actual weight, network weight and expected time to reward.

another question, dealing with the wallet, I get this screen

"stake:" xxx amount is less than "spendable" and "total" amount.
is this adjusted automatically by a specific %- factor or a given time? I don't think I can just adjust it by myself, is that correct?

looking at my staking weight, it is just about 1/6 of my total holdings. what's the trick here to get the whole wallet into staking?

I'm thankful for any help

Send all your coins back to yourself. That should consolidate all the staking into one big output.

When I do this, I set my reservebalance to 99999999 so after 3 hours no VIDZ are staking, then I send the whole amount to myself. Or if you are holding someone else's VIDZ, I would send only their coins back to their address using coin control. Then clear the reservebalance so you stake again.

Every time you stake, one of your inputs gets split into two. You can see this if you use coin control.

hey my friend, thanks, this helped me a lot.

finally im staking with full wallet again. such a pleasure to serve some capacity .

So what does "staking with full wallet" give you versus what is the norm for most people?

There is always risk involved when you are moving millions of VIDZ around on a daily basis.

I assume the norm is "staking with full wallet". Must had be something on my side which caused only 1/6 of wallet was staking. Now its solved.

now VIDZ has 10 BTC resistance to 500 and less than 5 btc support to 300. Rosso has already made profit of over 35 btc from ICO. You think he will not get greedy? He has probably sold at 500 already.

VIDZ is p and d from group that accumulated in ICO. You can already see them moving their coins to the website and putting sell walls as Bitcoin price is going up because they know when bitcoin goes up alts go down

thats ok, just set up your buy orders and let them get filled.

Thanks guys for the feedback and support! We have some pretty exciting features that we will be releasing later this year including Account synchronization/backup, support for Fiat Currencies, improved Position management and overview, more exchanges, and much more.  We are definitely considering adding a web platform/desktop application in the future as well. Thanks again for everyone's support!

great news folks, looking forward to use the PC version. maybe its possible to integrate a "request coin" feature in the near future (for e.g. $byteball)

is it the same way around (250 confirms) to start staking? havent staked one yet since deposit is in for 192 confs right now.

You have to wait for your coins to be "mature" first before they start staking.

Takes a few hours for them to mature if I remember correctly...

You were right, I monitored the wallet to see the switch to 'mature' at exactly 250 confs.

Can someone help me with this.
My coins are 'locked' in staking, how do I get them out, so I can send them?

If you go on to settings in the wallet and click on options, you will see this

you can then choose how many coins to exclude from the stake.

If they are already staking, then you have to wait until they finish confirming......it's like 250 confirms.

hey guys,

I love your app since the very start.

Is there something comparable to use on a PC?

We're currently taking a look at additional exchanges to add to Blockfolio.  Fill out this survey and let us know which exchange you would like to see added next:

perfect, thanks for that. Waves Dex would be awesome, $INCNT is missing, also $byteball, openledger would kill it, glad you put up the survey.

With only 3 BTC to add vidzcoin in bittrex ...

It would be a great advertisement to attract more users and strengthen the platform. Many in Bittrex do not know of the existence of PureVidz

And many in PureVidz do not know of the existence of Bittrex Wink

Right now YoBit is trading more volume than Bittrex, and with delisting all their small coins Bittrex is also delisting many of their traders   Cry

Anyway, I think when the refreshed GUI hits stage mid feb Bittrex will list $vidz due to interest in the trading fees they would miss and the project potential on its own. So I don't see the need to pay 3 BTC for it.

I'm wondering why there hasn't been much discussion about Byteball Declarative Smart Contracts.

I see tons of potential for these but the topic hasn't gotten much love at all. What gives?

There's been a thread about it by tonych since Sept. 15th mentioned in the OP of this thread,
but I'm the first to reply.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1617816.0

I think ByteBall and its opportunitys arent known well yet

I saw the same in the time of the Ethereum ICO, way before the MEGA hype. Vitaliks code was working and up for testing. But nobody gave a shit about it. Till one day.
