821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BWK] BULWARK | NO ICO | Masternodes | Accelerated PoW | Seesaw PoS/MN on: February 15, 2018, 04:16:44 PM
It true my favorite exchange have a fair share of issues, i did read on their page on how they started the exchange and how fast they have been growing. From 30k users to probably 1.5-2 mill users, they have a good excuse on being a bit slow.

This.

They were actually considering closing back in late 2016/early 2017

Then crypto exploded and they did for from 5 figure users to 7 figure users in a matter of MONTHS....there is no exchange that could have handled this!

People who are complaining have only been in crypto for months and cant understand the exponential amount of growth and strain that is being put on exchanges....yall newcomers have to learn to be patient and understanding with the exchanges, this isnt amazon prime or walmart.

Also realize that its sooo easy to say "oh just hire more people, get more support"....ok ya obviously that would help but cryptopia isnt going to just hire any avg Joe off the street to help them manage all their clients millions of dollars of crypto....thats extremely insecure, they want experienced people they can trust...and so do we.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: February 15, 2018, 03:43:43 PM

@captaincoco- I think all you will need to do is use a wallet where you are able to access your private keys, I havent used emerald but i would imagine that wallet will work since its tied directly to ETC development team. Also Exodus will work.

my etc coins in poloniex

I do not know what to hold in the wallet

If they are in poloniex you will need to move them, you would be holding your ETC in the wallet??

just google coinomi and move your ETC there
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: February 15, 2018, 03:41:20 PM
What happened whit ETC  Huh Value has remarkable decreased since yesterday... I think it was due bitcoin increase but other coins have kept the value...  Roll Eyes

I see it as down only 2% in 24 hours in USD terms, but up 69% for 7 days, so not too bad. It is normal for a pause after a big run.

You are absolutely right, but the strange thing is that ETC has lost more then all the others... Anyway... lets hope the run will continue soon  Wink

It had ran up almost like 80%, this pullback to 340k sats is a minor correction, i expect price to continue to rise especially now we have a major supporter of the fork in coinomi
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAG] X11 POS/POW+Masternodes MAGNET / magnetwork.io on: February 15, 2018, 03:26:46 PM
Is there a MN hosting service that supports MAG?

I think there is some shared MN/ MN hosting services available if you get into the discord channel but please be careful who you deal with. Verify with other community members first before you engage in a MN service, alot of scams going around.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LCC] Litecoin Cash | SHA256 LTC fork @ block 1371111 | 10:1 claim ratio on: February 15, 2018, 03:12:44 PM
I plan to hodl my LTC until the fork to get 10x LCC for each LTC. I would change my LTC to another altcoin as soon as the fork happened. So do I need to wait until block 1371112 or can I move my LTC as soon as block 1371111 is discovered ?
you should move your ltc to another wallet some blocks after the fork happened. wait for some blocks more. Then in a new LCC wallet (if any) import your old wallet keys.

Keep in mind that:
a) many people will do this, get their LCC and sell them fast for some other altoicoin, just like you.
b) this means that the price of LCC will drop like a rock.
c) you will probably not be that fast to make any money
d) there is no such thing as free money. forks are like printed fiat money: inflation, not a generation of wealth. Printing money doesn't generate wealth, it only takes wealth from those who have it to those who print it.
e) By the time you do this, the price of LTC will have dropped due to people like you who wanted LTC only for the airdrop, selling their LTC and switching back to the coins they had before the fork.
f) Any money you get from selling your LCC will be far less than the money you will lose from the price drop of LTC. It's a zero sum game.

P.S.: In the good scenario that some exchange will accept and create LCC pairs, if they don't you're left holding the bag.

I agree with most of your points, but I dont think anyone buying litecoin just for the fork will be disappointed if they hold their LTC, this fork is such a different beast then many others in the past. You cant compare this fork to the bitcoin cash fork or any other, its like this fork wave has died off and most people are just kinda like......"meh another fork" when it comes to this one.

I expected there to be atleast one exchange on board at this point...kind of concerning
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Dragonchain Token Sale on: February 15, 2018, 06:08:54 AM
Team dragon, walk down the street and visit the bittrex crew and just have them go ahead and list us mmmkay?
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAG] X11 POS/POW+Masternodes MAGNET / magnetwork.io on: February 14, 2018, 10:00:48 PM
Almost a full retracement from last all time highs, seeing possible support at 3500-3700 satoshi range, if this breaks which is likely we will look to 2500 for the next support.

If you are on the sidelines looking at this coin it could be a really good time to buy, look at the chart, almost a full correction from 19k back to 3k-4k range.

I would buy a little bit at these levels and set some bigger buys around 2500-3k and hope they get filled, considering what this coin and community have gone through the past couple months I would say that hopefully the bumps in the road are over but the dev team and community have proven strong I think.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium Classic - Callisto airdop 5th of March 2018 on: February 14, 2018, 09:03:17 PM
Callisto is a separate blockchain that is based on Ethereum protocol with its own cryptocurrency (CLO)...Callisto introduces a Cold staking protocol that rewards coin holders for being network participants. The airdop will commence on the 5th of March 2018. Everyone holding any ETC will be given 1:1 Callisto.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gktUVJOT--Y

https://cryptovest.com/news/etc-callisto-airdrop-announcement-leads-to-price-surge-and-stability/

How will this influence the current price of ETC?  Grin And what would be a fair price for 1 Callisto (CLO) coin?

You might see a rush of people buying ETC in order to get their airdrop IF the airdrop is widely publicised. From what I can tell though, most investors are completely unaware of it.

More investors are catching on, I think thats why we are seeing this kind of price action, and the airdrop is still in like 20 days so i think its safe to agree with you that there will be a rush of people. Remember ETC is in top 20, i dont think this airdrop will be overlooked like many others.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]★CryptoBridge★BCO★🔹Decentralized EXchange 📈RELEASED NOW BETA🔹 on: February 14, 2018, 08:56:40 PM
This is one of the concepts im struggling with as well, I have been playing around with this exchange for a couple months now off and on and I still can't really say that i understand it.

So if the gateways hold your coins do they have access to those private keys? Also confusing is the difference between local wallet and cloud wallet....there are like 4 different kind of keys in your account...almost like steem...i dont even know which ones i need to backup.

I will say that the staking and bonuses they are offering are pretty juicy right now, staking BCO is very profitable i think

as i understand this, your coins are frozen in smart contracts and nobody can steal them. but if a governance or anything else would shut down the bridge your funds would be lost. idk about 4 keys sorry i was just using my old bitshares key in the unix application

So is there one key you can backup to have access to ALL the coins in your wallet? Or is just having the password to the cloud wallet enough?

I am also worried about future regulation attacking exchanges, after 4 years of crypto I am convinced that by FAR the biggest systemic risk to crypto is the exchanges and tether in regards to regulation...its sad but true that government and regulators kind of have the future of crypto in their hands....unless tech like this can become truly decentralized and government resistant.

soo dependent on cryptopia unfortunately....guys check out cryptobridge it's not bad seriously

we just have zero liquidity on there so people arent trading...there is only like 4 buy orders just like on stocks.exchange
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]★CryptoBridge★BCO★🔹Decentralized EXchange 📈RELEASED NOW BETA🔹 on: February 14, 2018, 07:53:18 PM
Wouldn't decentralized model make the exchange really slow for it's users?

There is some lag as all your actions have to enter the Blockchain, it feels like an exchange that's running under heavy load, but we are talking a few seconds delay at most. It's a small price to pay for being in control of your funds & not having to deal with withdrawal limits or giving up your personal information.

this is wrong. your funds are stored in centralized gateways and not in your hand. decentralized gateways are on the roadmap, but the team stopped completing their roadmap month ago. pls beware to see this exchange as a safe wallet

This is one of the concepts im struggling with as well, I have been playing around with this exchange for a couple months now off and on and I still can't really say that i understand it.

Does incentify have any connection to the third party developement of the so called veri-bank that was envisioned early on in VRC's history?
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: February 14, 2018, 07:41:59 PM
@Chanaka1989- This will depend on whether or not Bittrex will support the fork, if I had to guess i would say they will support it, they have supported other big airdrops.

@captaincoco- I think all you will need to do is use a wallet where you are able to access your private keys, I havent used emerald but i would imagine that wallet will work since its tied directly to ETC development team. Also Exodus will work.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: February 14, 2018, 06:19:23 PM
Price will continue to rise you guys, this has been a long time in the making, litepay is right around the corner and will set the precedent for litecoin this year.

If you were paying attention to all the factors last year this rise shouldn't be surprising.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: February 14, 2018, 06:17:10 PM
that is, it makes it possible to reduce the commission of not all transactions at once, but lower only those that the person himself chooses? What if he chooses a smaller commission, then his transaction can be postponed? ...

"After all is tested, the final version will be released." That is, it is not yet the main version, and the main version will be released in the near future?

As you think, when it is released - it will not be considered a significant event.

By the way, maybe a hard fork Litecoin Cash can soon raise the price for Litecoin?

Yeah. You can lower the fee as much as you like, but the transaction can be delayed or not even sent (it expires and you get your LTC back in a few days).

Yes, the final version will probably be released in the next few weeks.

This version, no. The next version that will actually reduce the transaction fees will be more significant.

Please don't talk about that scam. It's just sad how people get on board these stupid forks. A SHA256 Litecoin with a 1% premine, what a joke!

Thank you for dkelites your knowledge! That is, there will be another version, which will not be soon and really lowered the commission.

In any case, lightcoyin is now growing because of LitePay

LiteCoin Cash looks like a SCAM.
See Charlie`s Twitter: recently he wrote that He (Charlie) and LTC team are not forking LTC.
Don't enter your private keys or seed phrase anywhere.

There have been like 10 BTC forks since bitcoin cash...why is this LTC any different? Also its not hard to keep the coins at a certain address during the forking block and then move them to a fresh address, that way those original private keys still held X amount of LTC at the time of the fork...this way you can import your priv keys without the worry about losing them. Why are people hating so hard on the fork...free coins for holding ltc and yall are complaining

Yalls signature campaign is being exploited big time, i see so many jr accounts spamming in other threads just random statements and asking pointless questions. When you look at their history they are posting every 5 minutes so its obviously a bot or someone who doesnt care.

Not only is it annoying but it hurts the credibility of yalls project...
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium Classic - Callisto airdop 5th of March 2018 on: February 13, 2018, 08:27:08 PM
I think those exchanges that will list Callisto will do everything automatically, i think however ill just move the ETC to a paper wallet.

I imagine that you just need to be in control of your private key at the time of the forking block
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Invests on: February 13, 2018, 04:56:45 PM
remember that when your holding an altcoin you are still bound to the price of bitcoin, it can work against you or for you.

if bitcoin goes way up when your holding an altcoin thats still very good for you, this is why people should try to trade their bitcoin against alts to try and make more bitcoin.

FCT is a good long term hold in my opinion, so are masternode coins like dash, bitsend, diamond, ect ect

DYOR, good luck
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best coins to buy right now? on: February 13, 2018, 04:53:42 PM
Look for coins with coming forks or airdrops, ETC for example has an airdrop in early march and the price has been climbing, it could follow the same price action trend that NXT did.

Also LTC has a coming fork also on the 19th, aside from the actual free coins these type of coins are great to speculate on.

if your looking at smaller cap alts, i think masternode coins hold their value against bitcoin better than any others

Also I think FCT is undervalued....but same argument can be made about several more. Good luck

My Binance Bot crashes (stops) every time within hours. I can do manual trades only, but that is all!

I'm I the only one?  Is it working for anybody?
Huh

Hi

Which bot? Bollinger band or mArgin maker?

Best wishes,
Jonathan

All bots trading will not run without stopping!  I have sent logs to support.

Is anyone running Binance Bot trading working 24/7 Huh

Yes, I have some time on the exchange with Bollinger Band Bots only running from my Linux laptop 24/7. No issues to report.

Dang man that looks like some wicked scalping your doing there, good luck with your taxes on that LOL  Wink

But it looks like your just running BB and sometimes your selling at a small loss, in long run are you finding that BB strategy profitable?
