Some of the experts says that bitcoin is a digital asset and some said that it is digital gold which can hold and make profit on it, but not all of us. You are saying it will take 20-30 years well then the value of bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies are already gain 50% of its loss way back 2018. I assumed you are aware of this. This should be applied in many countries especially countries that are in the 3rd world countries because it is the thing that they really need. Canada proved again that cryptocurrency is not bad for the government and decentralization doesn't mean they have no control of it. It is really good news for the investors and traders.

He already made sure that he transfer in the correct address mate so the problem is in the blockchain I guess. In my personal case, when I experienced this I go to blockchain and check my transactions it is already confirmed but it is not in my wallet but after a few hours it reflected in my balance. I suggest the OP should just wait or contact his local wallet website if he is using a kind of it. |

There are so many disadvantages of decentralized but almost all of us believe that there is more in advantages like no government can manipulate the value of bitcoin, everyone can buy without authorization, anonymous profile. The only disadvantage of decentralized is that there is no law above it so you can blame anyone except yourself.

I have read somewhere that this price spike was in fact by some April Fool's day joke.
With that in mind investors took their time into investment thus price rise suddently ($20.000 investment). Everyone saw that and followed the trend.
If it was from the joke itself we can not be certain but it really might had some influences.
I don't think that the latest trend of bitcoin is coming from this april fools joke. But I do really believe that april fool joke help bitcoin to know by other investors. Investors also see that they will really regret if that april fools day joke really happen. |

Yes, many exchange just got hacked including the most popular trading platform today which is binance exchange and many of those exchange are the centralized one. I also recommend to use decentralized exchangers but centralized makes exchange regulated. They cannot stop hackers but they can improve system.
