1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UniDapp - scam project! on: September 23, 2020, 06:02:17 AM
For every successful project there are 100s of project trying to copycat and ride the wave and do some quick buck . Never follow the project name or the current trend do proper research on the team .
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits on: September 23, 2020, 06:00:36 AM
Do t know if they get success in long term but the coins like yfi, meme are giving huge returns if bought early ,try to find such coins till yield farming craze don't go away. You can easily make 1000% gains in such coins.

YFIay be not much huge upside possible now as it's already high but may be Meme can still go 10x from here

DYOR though. Also try to find best gems early in Uniswap to get those crazy gains.

Uniswap seems the best gateway to find coins early and get a lot of profit but also be aware that there are too many scam and meme coins getting listed on uniswap and you are supposed to be really cautious.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ∧ Shape In Price on: September 23, 2020, 05:58:46 AM
Have you noticed whether all old cryptocurrencies went through ∧ shape in price?

Will all cryptocurrencies have gone thru this and let people make big profit?

Obviously you are looking at the 2017 bull run of the coins .most of the coins that time were super high and then came down a lot . You can't expect each and every coin to follow it though.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of social media channels on: September 22, 2020, 10:30:23 AM
It's seems many still don't know the importance of social media channels and telegram groups of the coins and tokens they own or promotes

Some hunters and investors lose vital informations like

1. Token swap
2. Smart contract swap
3. Bounty KYC
4. Bounty payout time and date

Many investors and bounty hunters makes this mistakes over and over and later they blame the project team. Just imagine the damages these can create.

While I agree a part of it I don't agree that the token swap or bridge being closed after a certain period. The project should help the investors help swap tokens even if they are late to the scene in my opinion.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: who else think Litecoin will go huge? on: September 22, 2020, 10:27:26 AM
I stopped looking into litecoin right after 2018 when Charlie Lee all his tokens on the community. Why would I want to hold.. something when the creator itself thinks it is better to sell.?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT? on: September 22, 2020, 10:25:02 AM
Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering about people's opinions on how safe is Tether.to/USDT? In terms of putting largish amount of money in there ($10k+), what is the risk of the service going out of business, or not honoring withdrawals? I.e. what is the risk of another Mt Gox, Mintpal or Cryptsy incident on here?

I can see that it still says "Beta" on the main page, and that it's a Hong Kong outfit. Not sure what kind of financial regulation/overwatch they have over there when it comes to these things.

I guess other little warning bells are that they don't have an easily accessible support link on their user interface (you can however email support@tether.to), or at least I couldn't easily find it.

Is there a safer way (which is still easy and cheap) to park some USD while BTC is going through it's fluctuations?

Thanks

It is always risky to hold any big amount in exchange even if is USDT which is supposedly backed by real us dollar. Always keep it in a personal wallet and preferably hardware wallet.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the 10 best bounty managers on BTT forum? on: September 22, 2020, 10:22:44 AM
Hey, Guys! I developed NFT token with a custom feature.

And I was wondering is there any top 10 best bounty managers on BTT forum?

Could someone provide me your top 10, please!

Thanks.

I don't have a list of persons. But bounty detective which is a group that takes escrows is good if you want gurantee and bubbalex is also a highly reputed bounty manager.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: September 22, 2020, 10:21:15 AM
Let's say I have a huge amount of money as an investor, where do I put them? Bitcoin or Gold

We all know that gold is known for its stability which could be vital in times of financial crisis; but doesn't exactly bring good return  WHILE Bitcoin on the other hand can be quite profitable  but it's risk of negative volatility can be catastrophic!

So which has your vote? Gold or Bitcoin!!!!

I think the value of the girl Is very high at the  moment. So I am personally waiting for it to drop a little bit but yeah it is a good idea to keep something invested in gold.for hedging against traditional investments.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you going to buy into these high rising defi coins now? on: September 21, 2020, 01:26:35 AM
The last month I had another project and wasn't watching the space and it's only today I had time to really focus on it.  I figured I would buy into these high rising projects a little today even though chances are they are at their ATH.  Are you going to buy into these high rising defi coins now, such as UMA, Kusama, DIA, Ampleforth, Ren, Reserve Rights, and others?    Which ones do you think will go higher?

I am looking at Dia out the of these that you have mentioned but haven't started yet. Looks a good project and always wanted to add something in Oracle space to my portfolio.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Transparent in it if team behind the coin is anonymous on: September 21, 2020, 01:20:16 AM
Some projects claim that team can remain anonymous in a decentralized offering , while that maybe true it is a double edged sword for investor. Personally I prefer to put my money based on the track record of the team running the projects

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: September 21, 2020, 01:16:20 AM
Just recently we are beginning to have some Twitter campaign giving hunters reward in btc in the service section. This is one sure way to take off this muster that seem like a cancer called bounty scam.

I'm believing that gradually, will may start seeing the inclusion of other social media signatures like Facebook, LinkedIn, medium, article, videos, blogs and many more, coming up in  both bounty section and service. I'm sure that hunters will prefer social media signature than the scam going on in the board.

I guess one reason that we are seeing that Twitter campaign is because of the audit which takes care of non real followers of an account. So if your Twitter account isn't made of real followers, you stand no chance of being selected. The audit is surely to check out accounts with fake followers and that is also good to stop scamming.

I don't think it is that simple to get rid of the bounty scams. It is a vast area and surely there will be greedy people trying to scam others. What we can hope for is trusted members running bounty and escrows.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: September 20, 2020, 05:23:21 AM
I don't see how ripple can be next bitcoin. The basic motto behind creation of ripple and bitcoin are completely different. One is created for emphasis on decentralization and the other is a utility token for a company handling payments.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ClipX steals KYC data and shuts down on: September 20, 2020, 05:16:46 AM
The ClipX project, another bounty, managed by the Bounty Detectives' team early today let down bounty hunters gently in what seems a soft exit by announcing that it would no longer continue with the project. The announcement was made here: https://t.me/clipXchannel/13

That was after it had cunningly collected KYC documents from hunters (even though that wasn't explicitly on the bounty thread). ClipX insisted it was going to be a passport document for KYC or nothing. It was really a suspicious move but anxious hunters neglected it. Why ask for only a passport for KYC and not any other document.

My advise to bounty hunters:
1. Don't participate in any bounty without escrowed rewards.
2. Don't be in a rush to participate in every bounty that comes up.
3. Follow only trusted Bounty Managers.
4. DYOR on any project and don't rely on BMs. Most of them don't even research a project before going into contract with project team.

Anyone else got any advice for bounty hunters, especially the noobs among them?

This is becoming a recurring issue. This used to happen too much for my liking during the 2018 run and it seems to be popping up now again. Be vary careful if a bounty asks for KYC and don't provide it unless you are very sure about the legitimacy of the project.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherum Fees Double In a Week As DeFi Heats Up on: September 20, 2020, 05:12:54 AM
The average fee for transactions on Ethereum has reached its second-highest level ever, after setting the record earlier this month.

In brief

The average Ethereum transaction fee rose to more than $11, more than double last week’s figure.
Daily average fees still haven’t dipped below $2, continuing a record-breaking streak.
More hash power is being added to the network.

It has more to do with the 400 UNI airdrops that traders who used uniswap exchange before 1 st September received. For most people it is a huge amount of money and they are trying to cash out and hence the high gas price.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deposit UNI = $50 Bucks on: September 20, 2020, 05:10:42 AM
It seems to be a tactic employed by exchange to increase the trading volume as UNI is the talk of the town right now . But hey I wouldnt complain too much as you are essentially getting extra 50 bucks for depositing the coins which you already own.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm scared of ethereum gas fee on: September 20, 2020, 05:08:07 AM
What if ether price goes up to more than $2000 dollars.. How will people or new cryptocurrency users be able to cope with the gas fee. As I can see so far, the current gas price has been giving people tough time. I remember when we used to use 2 gwei for gas price.
I don't think the Ethereum network congestion can reduce with time.
It looks like you are worried too much. Sure the eth gas fees is too high now but 2000 $ is unimaginable for now. They are developing layer 2 protocols and scaling solutions as well as other blockchain protocols to solve the issue.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 18% XRP Price Drop ! ~ Moon or Bust? on: September 19, 2020, 03:40:39 AM
Xrp is my main Long term hold along with Ethereum .
Almost 20% dump ! Xrp needs a bit of patience IMO breakout coming. According to IMF and World bank , XRP
be the bridge to the Global Reserve Currency.

I still think xrp will only do well in future because the xrp community but if this DeFi thing work out for them it might give them a needed life for sure . Share your opinions Guys

I don't think we will see much scope for price increase in ripple because the market cap is too high and it's too centralised for my liking. But yes it's kind of a safe investment for now and relatively hasuch less volatility.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First Part of ETH 2.0 Is Formally Submitted on: September 19, 2020, 03:38:27 AM
After a lot of delays and some technical testing which yield inappropriate result, a news was posted on decrypt about the most critical phase of most anticipated Ethereum 2.0  to be formally submitted by a Core developer Danny Ryan which the open-source code is already available on GitHub for community review.

Is it possible for ETH2.0 to be totally launched this year?

Source

I don't mean to sound pessimistic but we really need to see eth 2.0 soon. We have been waiting for a long time now and other competitive projects are fast developing. The sooner eth 2
P is active the better.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap increased 75% on: September 19, 2020, 03:36:51 AM
It a great thing for decentralization that uniswap exchange and the token associated with it UNI has hit so high value and that the traders and liquidity providers are rewarded for being part of uniswap . Hope to see decentralized exchange become more popular and attract more volume.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: September 19, 2020, 03:35:03 AM
It definitely helps to make more people.aware of crypto and what's happening in crypto and the financial revolution that can bring. It also increases the investment in crypto bringing the wrath into crypto currency.
