121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT TYPE OF CRYPTO INVESTOR ARE YOU? on: August 21, 2020, 07:10:47 AM
I am of the holder type. Not just a normal holder but an extreme holder who doesn't cash out even at the top of the bull market.

And eventually regret the decision to hold later when the bear market is in full swing.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Has Left His Own Privacy Asset Project on: August 21, 2020, 07:08:56 AM
McAfee should be the last person anyone associated in crypto should go into. He is just a shill guy who looks after only himself.
I wouldn't invest in any project he is associated with.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: August 19, 2020, 08:16:32 AM
Whenever a user or a group is promoting something it just means that he has already accumulated the coin and wants to use you to pump it higher. As simple as that.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Trending ALTs on: August 19, 2020, 08:14:22 AM
Social media playing a huge part In All these coins especially the influencers promoting them well.

Be cautious not to be too influenced by influencers and FOMO I .

Hope the bull run continues .
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OKEx suffered the loss of $5.6 million of the recent attack on ETC network. on: August 19, 2020, 08:12:20 AM
The first attack on the ETC network occured last July 31 caused the loss of $5.6 million as revealed by ETC devs and a blockchain analysis firm. In the investigation made by the blockchain analysis firm, it was mentioned that OKEx wallets were involved during the hack. Later this month, OKEx exchange published an article decribing how the attacker used the exchange to purchase and trade ETC and that the exchange suffer the loss of the full hacked amount announced by several investigation parts. In the same article, OKEx clarifies that the loss was fully borne by the exchange and did not cause any loss to its users.
As a result, the exchange suspended all deposits and withdrawals for ETC and plans to delist ETC.

Link to article: [Must read]

I read a few months ago that coins which have less Hashing power are suspectable to this kind of attack. I didn't realize ETC had less hash that can be controlled by malicious party.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: August 18, 2020, 02:10:28 PM
With your skills you can earn. You can earn without any hard work. For that you need to be a crypto investor. You have to keep in mind that you will benefit if you invest in a coin or token by constantly monitoring the market. No experience is required for this. You just have to understand the market signal. Again you can invest in exchanger on any new token.
I want to be a good investor.
Do you want to be a good investor? Do you agree with me?

I am not someone who believes in technical analysis. I believe Ina project if it's fundamentally strong with good team members and if it's solving the right issues.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: August 18, 2020, 02:08:02 PM
I would take these ratings with a pinch of salt if I were you. What's the point of having decentralization if you are gonna believe the rating issued by some analyst.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Curve DAO Token] Be careful with this project lost ~0.17BTC ~ $2000 trading it. on: August 17, 2020, 08:00:42 AM
The dump isn't slowing down anytime soon so don't be in a rush to buy into the project as there'll be around 2million tokens coming into the market daily (~766k or so but can't get my head around the number as I'm in pain). Don't get me wrong though, I'm not trying to point fingers here towards the authenticity of the project since I believe my mistakes cause me this lost.

In my years of trading this has to be my biggest lost so far so just thought it'll be right if I caution others before they make the same mistakes. Judging from what I'm seeing it seems I'm quite lucky I didn't get in at the ATH around $50 those who bought then most be feeling more stupid than I am right now. $CRV is currently trading around $6.5 with around -50% lost in 24hrs but this shouldn't cloud your judgment more decline is likely to occur.

$CRV just stole all my $ETH profit 😭😭, just have to exit the market to short my loss.

Stay safe guys don't invest more than you'll be ok losing, you'll be better off holding bitcoin (Personally I'm sating you should too).

I think this is gonna be seen across several defi projects that are popping up low circulating supply now. When they start releasing the locked supply this is inevitable. Be very careful
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token burning on: August 17, 2020, 07:58:44 AM
Personally I am not a fan of token burns scheduled to reduce the supply of the coins. Burning unsold tokens during ico is fine but future burns aren't necessarily a good thing.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If someone mistakenly sent you 1 ETH, what would you do? on: August 17, 2020, 07:55:17 AM
I don't think a smart guy would send a Eth to unknown address without double checking.

Mostly he is gonna copy paste the address anyway.

In case he sends it I think most people wouldn't send it back to him.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (DEFI) YAM! YAM! YAM! a scam? on: August 15, 2020, 01:20:24 AM
I think the YAM mistake which happened during the rebase was not a scam but a honest mistake that happened while coding.

Just strengthens my belief about Defi though.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 13, 2020, 01:10:31 AM
For me if I'm gonna invest without doing any research, I'm gonna invest in ethereum and binance. Finding gems are hard without digging deep, finding low cap projects that are good are really hard to find.

I agree with the post. Now that so many coins have already recorded multiple gains the really low cap gems have already became midcap gems. For now it is better to go with established projects.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP MADNESS on: August 13, 2020, 01:06:06 AM
We are in the midst of a crazy run now much like the 2017 run. People scamming with fake tokens in uniswap much like the etherdelata during 2017 and projects with diluted market cap going billions days after listing.[ Read as SERUM]

Definitely not sustainable.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: August 13, 2020, 01:03:55 AM
In a short while that I have been in cryptocurrency I have seen so many crypto project and fantastic budget and planned you see that some of them still left the project unfinished some even do stop the crypto project without any pre_information about the sudden change of plans concerning the particular project so what do you think about the crypto project that have been suspended half way , what do you think that should be done for this kind of the attitude of crypto developer's concerning crypto project abandoned project.
There maybe several reasons but the most prominent ones are
1. They used the hype to raise money to run away with it
2.They had a vision but they were never good enough to implement it in the project and they slowly use the money and stop the project after they run out of funds.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Staking Is The Next Step In Crypto on: August 12, 2020, 02:38:57 AM
In case you are late to this party and donít yet know what staking is, staking is essentially the hoarding of cryptocurrencies. It's when individuals hold their crypto assets in wallets rather than using them for transactions. While this may sound counterintuitive, it appears to be the next step for crypto, and it is becoming increasingly more popular.

Here is everything you need to know about staking and why it is becoming more popular:

Are you staking your crypto assets?

I know now the entire crypto space is about Defi and staking now but personally I am not a fan of staking . I prefer to have control over my investments and sell them if need to be .
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum's biggest contender? on: August 12, 2020, 02:37:34 AM
Although ethereum is the leader in dapps now , it is constantly coming under competition from new projects . The success of ETH depends on how scalable ETh 2.0 is going to be and how soon they implement it to ward odd the competition.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trx or Eth ? on: August 12, 2020, 02:33:42 AM
Although both have their dapps the reason is very different. Eth is because it practically came up with smart contracts and continues to invent itself and TRON thrives on the PR done by Justin (not saying its bad though).
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bankera..3 years after ICO...a money grab ICO??? on: August 11, 2020, 03:51:13 AM
Too many ICo's that started in 2017 has done this. SOme have hard exited as a scam and some just wait for investors to give up saying the project is under development ,saying they are running out of funds etc and then saying they are bankrupt.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most of The DEFI coins are 50% up in last 7days!! on: August 11, 2020, 03:48:43 AM
Yes looks like 2020 is all about Defi. But personally I am not sure how sustainable this Defi hype is as I believe the main reason for the pump is craeting artificial demand by locking up tokens.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The United States blocked Tiktok and Wechat, the era of decentralized VPN is com on: August 11, 2020, 03:46:29 AM
While decentralised apps and VPN's may benefit from the trade war between the two economic super powers it sets a bad precedent and it isn't good for the world economic situation and progress. I hope this stops soon.
