I'm hosting slimcoin 0.6.0 on ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS now. Syncing was fast at the beginning, but now is stalling. This is the result of getpeerinfo. Very confusing, if I compare "hight" and "subver", for example. It's 21 active connections. Often there is hight 2277690, but some newer versions are ahead of this. chainz.cryptoid.info is on hight 2278847. None of my peers has the hight of cryptoid.
In my experience when you sync, the synchronization got stuck at some point and before it becomes more and more slow. To avoid the issue I have a script that shuts down the wallet each hour and reopens it. When the blockchain is synchronized there is no need to restart the wallet each hour, so my script just checks each hour whether the blockchain height has changed if it's the same then I restart the wallet. You need to have enough RAM to do the above things, because with insufficient RAM it's possible your wallet won't even open in one hour (if you opt for restarting it each hour). it's time to share it |

yes, it works with v6 only, compiling v5 still breaks with error now i started sync from zero then i will try again import my privkeys if all ok, i will forget for v5 i started it because wallet began to freeze very often for a long time and I decided to reduce the size of wallet.dat (4 mb now) with Linux, I started experimenting because subjectively it seems to me that synchronization there is much faster |

Try with the fresh snapshot I've published above, if not just delete all except slimcoin.conf and wallet.dat in your .slimcoin folder and re-sync the whole blockchain again. To avoid deleting something that shouldn't be deleted you can just rename your .slimcoin folder and restart slimcoin-qt. 1. which version of wallet do you mean ? 2. i want to try all possible variants, but on linux could someone help me with compiling both v5 & v6 versions ? with step-by-step instructions |

I think you cant use blockchain from v5 to v6. You will get the error i did it - there is no error in v6 with 3 privkeys imported from v5 but balance - 5342, net burnt coins - 13324, effective burnt coins - 5856 instead of old wallet - 16758, 19804, 7819 respectively and the same shit in v5 new wallet with these privkeys ! wtf ? |

Вот так забудешь-забросишь, а потом оппа - а все уже пол года назад стали миллионерами, а теперь токен на дне. И обидно будет, очень обидно!  Надо постоянно посматривать за своими активами или наоборот: оппа, а я миллионер ! тоже уже забыл за эту пи - скачал по новой, теперь работает без впн вопрос - можно с двух аккаунтов майнить на одном айпи ? и десктопный клиент это дополнение к мобильному или альтернатива ? |
