761  Bitcoin / Electrum / How to update electrum ?? on: November 02, 2016, 12:49:50 PM
I have been using the same version of electrum(v2.6) for quite a time now. I could not find any option to update it within the application.
I found that v2.7.11 is the latest version and there is security risk in the old versions (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1663652.0).

So, how to update Electrum on windows ?

Yes, yobit.io could be safely used as they are currently having dns issues.
It is clearly stated on their official twitter page(https://twitter.com/YobitExchange) :

The coinbase.com wallet shows the bitcoins stored in rupees.
I have recently found the beta version of coinbase (https://beta.coinbase.com)  shows the fluctuations in price directly in rupees. Though, using a wallet in its beta phase may be risky.

I only use exchanger's wallet to store altcoins which i get from avatar campaigns,etc. I find it easier to use a wallet of new currency instead of installing the same on my pc. So far i have no problem with using yobit's wallet.
