I don't feel the situation has changed or is different, a friendly match is so different from a competitive one, even if Napoli lost to Lille in a friendly match, it does not mean anything much to them and they will carry on in the seria a as they did before the world cup. The world cup break was not a long one, it was just for one month, so i don't feel there will be too many changes, as long as players aren't injured they will perform as they did before the world cup. I know Napoli have been too good this season, and seria a fans are waiting for a period that they will lose games, i don't think that period is now, it may probably be when they have won the league with some matches remaining to play.

To be honest, i don't really think that any team can really threaten Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga this year. I just don't see any team right now that is strong enough in the long run to really push Bayern Munich from it's throne in Germany. I agree though, that RB Leipzig is the second strongest team in Germany and if a team is able to beat Bayern for the Bundesliga title in the coming years, then i think it is Leipzig and not Dortmund. I already said, that Leipzig is stronger than the BVB even before the season started, because for me the business model of Borussia Dortmund is not good if you want to play for titles. They are buying new and talented players and then there are two options. They are developing great, then they will go to bigger clubs as it happened with Sancho, Dembele, Haaland and soon Bellingham. The second option is that they don't develop that well and then they stay at Dortmund.

Napoli is eight points ahead of Milan. After Milan play Salernitana they have Roma next, which is a very difficult fixture for both teams. Then after that they face Torino who can be a lot of trouble sometimes. So they're not going to have an easy run too.

Napoli have a more difficult first 3 games anyway but they're in a better position and better form than Milan so I won't be surprised if they win both Inter and Juventus (they'll face Juve after Sampdoria who are in a very bad form at the moment, they're 19th on the table)

Even though this is quite a big loss, of course this should not be used as an excuse to make them feel that losing Gabriel is everything.
They still have some talented young players, and with their current compactness of course the hope is very big that this can be something good for them.

Barcelona and Real Madrid both have comfortable fixtures ahead of them now. The opponents are Espanyol and Valladolid respectively. I don't expect any mistakes from both favourites.

Barcelona have already been very comfortable against smaller teams in the league for a long time. As for Real Madrid it has been a little complicated recently. They lost points in really unexpected games which was a big help for Barcelona to take the lead from Real Madrid. With the return of Benzema I think Real Madrid will fight stronger than before. Ancelotti should be successful with helping his players have full concentration on their games from now on.

I think they bought too many players and dismantled the team so many times in the last couple of years trying to get a new team and right team for their club. The players still dont know how to play with each other plus coach didnt do so great aswell. They need to keep a team for awhile and see if it can payoff
