What exactly are these different items?

- The site will contain a CS:GO skin database. Skins that my bot has in its inventory, will be raffled away, and the coding will take care of figuring out how much BTC each person has to send, and how many that needs to send before its raffled away. There will be raffles with 15$ skins, raffles til 50$ skins and so on.

Is this the BTC jackpot of which you speak or is it something different from the jackpot?

- This "jackpot" will contain different people all over the globe (hopefully) clicks on a button, and send a random amount of money (same you would do on SkinArena, or any other betting site) except this is with BTC. The site will then randomly draw a winner of the BTC that is put in that pot. Each pot will have a BTC $ limit.

I didn't answer the two last questions, because I think these two answers explains your questions.

Thank you very much for the insight DarkStar_. Yes you are correct, I am new to this site, and I didn't post any current results I have been working on.

I will post results when I feel I am close to a finish (with the design that is). I am fully aware of how this may look like for members. If this post gets a lot of negative activity, I will close it down.

PS: This thread as also made looking for advice, by people that may have some experience.

I hope you can live with me having the post up for a bit longer.

Hello.

PS: Admin/Moderator. Before deleting this thread, please give me a warning. I asked around at the forum if this was allowed.

I am currently starting a Bitcoin based betting site. This site will be based on raffles that will be joined by sending Bitcoins to a Bitcoin Wallet, then the site will randomly draw a winner. The raffle(s) will stop when I hit 10% over what the item is worth.

I am just curious if this sounds like an idea that could actually work, or if I am on the wrong track?

I've been busy designing the site for 3 months now, and I have finally made up my mind that I want to do it.

I am posting this on forums I see that there is interest for CS:GO betting, and I am hoping for that smart people can give me some useful advice along the road.

Also. I am currently looking for some coders, so If you feel like you have what it takes, feel free to send me a PM.

Want to support the project? Simply send me some Bitcoins at my adress:

I will also do giveaways along the side before the site is released, just to get some publicity. I will also update EVERYONE who decides to donate, I will also send pictures of the process and results.

You can also donate via PayPal, hit me up with a private message for that.

PS: I would absolutely appreciate EVERY tip along the way, I am looking for some ideas as well. I have my mind set, and I am not stopping before I get it perfect. Not publishing anything 50 percent complete.

All the donators will be listed at the website when its open, and I will also include you in the raffles if thats a wish.

FAQ:

What is being raffled?

- Different items both low tier and high tier, that the bot will have in its inventory. Restocking will happen with the BTC.

How would you base the price of the raffle?

- I will base the price of the item that is being raffled away. This is an automatic process, I just punch in the item, and the coding takes care of the rest. The price will be based on what I am buying the skins for.

How do we know the raffles aren't rigged?
- I will post the "winning" codes, so everyone who is joining in will be able to see that it is not rigged.

Why only BTC?
- Because BTC is the most legit way to do something like this. I could do PayPal, but that takes a lot of security measures.

Will higher BTC amounts mean higher chance?

- I will also have a jackpot yes, if thats what you are talking about. There will be a BTC jackpot, where the site takes a cut, but this isn't anything I would do at the startup. At the startup the only thing will be paying an amount for the raffle you choose. There is different raffles. Everything you need to do is to click a link, and it will tell you how much to pay, and to what adress.

Kind Regards,

CS Bitcoin Raffles
