1  Other / Off-topic / Re: What age to teach kids about crypto? on: February 02, 2018, 06:41:08 PM
I think it would be better if we teach kids about crypto at the age of 16 cause I had friends who are 16 years old who wants to do many things but can't because they dont have money. but why only 16? it's because we don't have to force children to work hard for their own money at a very young age. They should just enjoy their early teenage years and childhood. also at the age of 16 it starts to get so depressing so we need money to overcome those stress and enjoy ourselves.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: February 02, 2018, 05:31:37 PM
I first heard about bitcoin when I was just studying. Because I also need to support myself and my cousin was withdrawing a lot of money from bitcoin. I got interested and curious so I joined and worked hard for my account right now.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people want Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2018, 05:09:00 PM
the reason behind people wanting bitcoin is because it is the best cryptocurrency and maybe out of curiousity since bitcoin is now getting a lot of recognition through news report and articles. And of course it is considered as an asset and investment. We can earn from bitcoin and also reduces the unemployed.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum? on: February 02, 2018, 04:51:26 PM
Alot of critics have already said ETH is the future of bitcoin, In my speculation is not impossible for ethereum to beat btc, ethereum has great potential, though bitcoin is still in the throne, but the sad thing is bitcoin is slowly falling due to its overcrowded and traffic, due to too many users, and because of very slow transactons, and higher transaction fees, on the other hand, ethereum is actually fast and secured, they prioritize security and transaction reliablity, this is why I would not be surprised if in the near future, ethereum might bs taking over.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why such a harsh drop on: February 02, 2018, 04:14:13 PM
the fall is associated with panic, if you now look at the glass in the stock exchanges, then the whole fall is redeemed, someone is very seriously gaining a position. So it takes time and I think the fall will end soon
I agree. I think it is just being manipulated and the harsh breakdown will end by the fourth of february. Also I think it is just the technology itself. it will eventually end soon so keep waiting.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Valentine's Day affect BTC? on: February 02, 2018, 04:05:33 PM
I'm really curious if market pump celebrations affect BatC and how?❤❤❤
Probably not. There is not that many girls that use Cryptocurrency, and not a lot of people that have Bitcoin have Girlfriends.
I know a lot of girls who uses cryptocurrency. Don't underestimate girl power dude. Don't be too bitter about it.My answer to the question if market will pump because of valentine's day will be a no because I don't see any reason for it to pump.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook bans cryptocurrency ads.. on: February 02, 2018, 02:59:01 PM
this is just facebook's way to avoid scammers. Facebook said that it is the only way to prevent people from advertising what the company is calling “financial products and services frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices.”I think it's a good thing but newbies will have a hard time to rank up.
8  Local / Pilipinas / Re: What causes the bitcoin price to go up/down? on: February 02, 2018, 05:31:35 AM
the fact that countries all over the world are starting to give recognition to bitcoin has disadvatanges and advantages. One of the advantages is that it attracts more users and investors but on the other hand, one of its disadvantages is that the government is now taking consideration of banning bitcoin since it is uncontrollable and some says it takes risk to invest in it due to it being unstable. the latest banned country is india and the most popular banned is china. remember china has the most population and so I think the value of bitcoin went down because of many reasons but I think bitcoin being banned is far most the best conclusion I can have.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happen With Bitcoin? What is the Reason for this huge drop? on: February 02, 2018, 02:45:27 AM
I think one of the reason is that bitcoin is being banned in each country because I think the government is now in panic mode since they don't know how to control bitcoin. Also, I heard about some whales which I'm still not sure. but those whales something is trying to manipulate the bitcoin industry. I guess bitcoin being popular has advantages and disadvantages.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asking about altcoin? on: February 02, 2018, 01:02:30 AM
I noticed some altcoin in coinmarketcap, and I see the coin keeps going down, which I ask, will the coin be lost if the price keeps going down, or will it not go away and the price will go up?

Normally, if the project based on the altcoin did not go well, a joke or a scam normally the value of the altcoin will decline and become no value at all but there is some notable exception just like the joke cryptocurrency named Dogecoin which has a strong market value and still going up. Do you still remember Luckycoin, before it started strong but now the price value is low.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON (TRX) Scam on: February 01, 2018, 11:30:28 PM
We are not the one who can tell it if it is a scam. We respect your decision and understanding that you are thinking Tron is a scam. I have my own decision why I invest this altcoin so hard. Remember the old days that everyone is telling each other that Bitcoin is a scam. I think like the others before, I think Bitcoin is a scam and because of that, I miss the golden opportunity to become rich. Is everybody knows who is Satoshi Nakamoto? None right and we believe using pseudo-name means that Bitcoin is a scam. At least we know who is Justin Sun is.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best competitors to Ethereum? on: February 01, 2018, 10:30:01 PM
Which are the best competitors to Ethereum, and why do you think so?

(I know on top of my head that Cardano and IOTA try to challenge Ethereum,
although they still haven't proved much from my understanding?)

Number 1 and still undisputed is Bitcoin, no altcoins can still stop Bitcoin even though it is on a steep decline. What I see is Ethereum can be a number 1 altcoin but not this year maybe after 2 years and if the value of Bitcoin still continues to go down. We are also looking on the rise of altcoins.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a million dollars possible? on: February 01, 2018, 12:02:59 PM
If one were to buy and hold solid  avaerge coins (not a coin that kicks out and gets 10000% gain), but rather a nice steady gain like eth, Ltc etc (top 20) and starts with 10k, is it possible to reach a million without trading and buying/selling at highs and lows? If so, how long would you predict it would take? Or are most coins not going to last long term, so every 6 months would I have to rebalance with newer coins?

It depends on which coin but still it is possible that a coin will kick high up to a Million Dollar. It can happen if the coin has limited numbers to create just like Bitcoin for which it can be up to 21 Million BTC only. Number of investors to the coin. If it is available to the market, the supply is low but the demand is high. If it is easily accessible to cryptocurrency users or multinational corporations and the government totally supports it or not.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies are not legal tender - Indian Finance Minister on: February 01, 2018, 07:07:55 AM
Indian Finance minister has presented the financial budget for the year 2018 and he said 'investors should keep in mind that government doesn't consider them as legal tender" It means that government has not banned them completely and people can still invest into the cryptocurrencies. However, he also said that government will make sure to curb the illegal transactions funded by cryptocurrencies. In addition, he also mentioned that government will study the blockchain technology to make the payment faster.

There were lot of excitement about the government's stance on cryptos but its not a good news for the investors. I fear what if people start diverting their money from cryptos to stock market ?

Although the Indian Finance Minister says cryptocurrencies are not a legal tender but still they did not ban it. It means that they are still studying the effect of cryptocurrencies whether if it is good or bad. It needs to outweigh the negative issues of cryptocurrencies so that the Indian government will only create regulations and not banning it.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: January 31, 2018, 03:25:09 PM
If not bitcoin, my top 2 altcoins that you should be investing in right now is ethereum and ripple, here's why ethereum and ripple, first  of all, ethereum is really neat, and slick, it has fast transactions, and is secured, this is why ethereum lately has been successful. The first thing about Ethereum is that it is not just a digital currency. It is a blockchain-based platform with many aspects. It features smart contracts, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and it uses its currency called ether for peer-to-peer contracts. Then we have ripple, also  a great cryptocurrency, hence it has secured and safe transactions, and it has their own unique way, Ripple is the name of the company, and XRP is the name of its coin. Ripple was specifically created to facilitate a now-outdated system of international transactions, comparing bitcoin to ripple, ripple is actually a private company, security for investors is what they seek, and the cost of transaction is great, rather than transaction cost of bitcoin, these are the reasons why ETH and XRP are one of the altcoins that you should be investing right now.
I agree about bitcoin being uncontrollable in china is the main reason why they banned it but I think bitcoin will regain its users and investors and price value after being banned by china simply because it gains popularity. after bitcoin being banned. news outlet started to report about bitcoin and even the bank center of the philippines is giving attention since 8million were credited last year via bitcoin.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: January 30, 2018, 06:56:27 AM
elimimate is a big word because I think people still needs a lot of knowledge to have bitcoin. people need to be precise of their strategy in life and they also have to be constructive when they post. I think bitcoin will reduce unemployment but cannot (wish i was wrong) remove unemployment especially to countries who are suffering from extreme poverty.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: January 29, 2018, 05:15:36 PM
Can bitcoin really do anything to solve world poverty problem? Brian Singer certainly think so. He thinks that Bitcoin can bring minimum everyday earning for people more swiftly than any other economy system.

Is it possible?

http://www.forbes.com/sites/steveforbes/2015/04/02/how-bitcoin-will-end-world-poverty/
potentially yes. Bitcoin has the potential to end world poverty but bitcoin is starting to get strict to the point that they are being prescriptivist where they follow the rules of grammar and if you're obviously wrong they will ban you. So I conclude that people who has that true knowledge may use bitcoin if not then you made a fool out of yourself.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are your governments reacting to Bitcoin? on: January 29, 2018, 08:15:47 AM
In our country where when we buy things there is always a tax partnered with it. Our government is now paying a lot of attention in bitcoin since it is said that 8million php were withdrawed last year due to cryptocurrency. Our banks are now studying it well whether we should legalized it or how they can control it. currently, there were a lot of changes in the way we transact which means that it is now one of the main priorities of our government.
