3  Economy / Services / [Seeking] One-off purchasing service on: May 02, 2014, 01:44:08 AM
Looking for somebody to make a purchase for me using fiat, in return I will pay you bitcoin plus a negotiable service fee. This is a one-off purchase and you can complete the fiat payment with Paypal, credit cards or Google wallet, none of which I can do unfortunately due to my account transferring at the moment. The purchase amount is $1,000 and I am happy to use an escrow service. Reputable traders only please.

6  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTS] Bitcoin for cash UK (MoneyGram also accepted) (2% below BitStamp) on: February 22, 2014, 04:38:09 AM
Damn banks refusing to allow bitcoin traders is a bit of a pain and causing some cashflow problems for me so is there anyone in the UK who want to do large cash deals? Of course proper invoice and receipts will be issued by my company (I trade as a limited company). I am in Liverpool until Monday and will be around the country for the next few weeks if anyone is interested. The minimum trade amount is £5,000 and I negotiate rates per individual transaction, usually 2% below Bitstamp region for volume deals.

For individual buyers who do not trade bitcoin, have no reputation or are not operating as a business, some KYC procedures will need to be followed.

MoneyGram will also be accepted but you must pay the fees.

User: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=180481

Several weeks ago I purchased his services to fund website account in exchange for bitcoin, he has gone along with all the usual "Oh this hasn't worked", "Delays outside my control" excuses, but has not delivered and has since stopped responding to my requests for updates and a refund.

Anyone who can obtain the full dox of this user, please get in touch and claim your $300 prize.

11  Economy / Services / Re: Butter Bot!: New Bitstamp, BTC-E, and MtGox EMA Trading Platform on: January 07, 2014, 11:05:25 PM
For 24/7 running you can always purchase a remote desktop hosting and put the bot on there and through BitStamp for example limit the API access so it can only cash out to a certain bitcoin address (yours)? Just a thought.

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Is it time to switch units? on: December 06, 2013, 03:47:23 AM
Bitcoinity has now switched the default unit in which they report prices to mBTC - do you think the exchanges should follow suit just yet?

Personally I have already changed my client to read using mBTC since it is easier to look at 1.59 for example as $1.59 than 0.00159 as it is closer to the 1 unit of measurement = 1 fiat measure. Probably just a matter of preference but given the enormous uptake in bitcoin in the past 12 months, would it be easier to now make this subunit of bitcoin the default since realistically the price is going to only increase and the finite nature of the network?
