42  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Step by step guide for MinePeon on the Raspberry PI on: January 31, 2014, 05:07:51 AM
MinePeon is a nice piece of work. I see that Hashfast is using MP on it's miners. Did you license it to them, or  is the kitty cat gonna come out. It would be nice to get 15 minutes a day on several hundred terra hashes.
43  Economy / Auctions / Re: HF 5x BabyJets in hand NOW - 3 day auction, shipping included on: January 31, 2014, 02:31:13 AM
let me ask a more basic question ... Where are you located?

He must be in Colorado or Washington State, he be smoking that sqizzo ganga cush. How much should it ask for, then took a big toke.

Antminers overclocked get 205 ghs. I bought two for 3.8 shipped. Take the 1.8 and run like you stole something. After CNY you will get lest. On Amazon or Ebay you mgiht get 2 to 3k for it.

Now that you have it out of the box, you might as well run it and make some coin, till you sell it.
45  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain AntMiner S1 Setup on: January 30, 2014, 07:30:48 PM
Perfect. I'd recommend getting a 750W as it will be able to power 2 miners (Ants or otherwise), or one large miner. 650W is a bit of a weird number.

Im assuming this would be ok for stock setting, but not quiet enough for a overclocked unit. I have one running on a 750 Corsair, it would be nice if I could run two on it. What would you suggest to run two overclocked Ants. I thinking a 1000 watt would be needed.
46  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain AntMiner S1 Setup on: January 30, 2014, 08:03:32 AM
Anyone had any units blowing up when you over clock to 400mhz or what's the worst that could happen?
One of mine locked ip and was unreachable, but continued to hash. reseting to factory defaults fixed and I re overclocked and there have been not problems since.

i kind of figured you had them on as exhaust, for exhaust, just about any 120mm fan will do.  those front-end behemoths are hard to find in 4 pin.  i have seen 5 pin, but not sure if i can damage the board if i guess wrong and leave the wrong pin out of the plug ?   i must say customer service with Sushi and Bitmain are top-notch.  in the meantime, i just want to hash  =)

Maybe a Delta Fan would work, the have plenty of air flow. Might have to tone it down a bit.
They probably make one that would match the stock AntMiner fan.

are you using those fans to blow in, or exhaust in the back ?  i noticed that regular 120, even corsair high airflow fans will not match the same output of air/cooling that the stock ant fans come with.  and i am having a hard time finding those dinosaur fans.  i have contacted the manufacturer for RMA, but down time from mining sucks.  so am looking for a quick fix.
i
I have the fans set to pull heat off the heat sink. They are not nearly as powerful as the stock fan. someone should know of a suitable replacement.

I had these fand laying around cause I deided not to use them in a PC build. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0026ZPFDE/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You have the snip the little tabs off the fan connector to get it fit with out forcing it on. You have to use some screws and nuts to attach them, the hardware that come with the fans wont work. Dogie refers to this in this thread.

I bought these locally, they didnt have the one I wanted.  These are very quiet and have good air flow of 75cfm. http://www.quietpc.com/cl-swif2-12p

One Asic Cube, two overclocked AntMiners and a few Block Erupters and a Rpi. I added an exhaust  fan to the Ants to help keep the temps down.  Room is now toasty warm. Pool show total of 480ghs. I have about 30 more BE's and a Jalapeno 7ghs now shown.

i used a powercool 750watt psu for antminer unit and after a day or so it popped the psu, i exchanged it and the second one went in 30 mins also it says 24 amps per 12v shouldnt that be enough whats the problem?
No PSU expert here, but I tend to stick with the high end brands. Corsiar is my first choice.

I am using a Corsair GS 600 without issues. I am not famluar with the brand you have.
53  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GROUP BUY 7 OPEN] Antminer 180GH @ 1.90 BTC - Chinese End of the Year Sale - on: January 28, 2014, 07:45:06 AM
I got my two up and running. I wanted to change the ip and set the WAN instead of LAN and had to find the tiny teeny reset button and redo the settings. no issues with the second unit. I over locked one and let the other stock for now. is a lot easier to use Winscp instead of terminal to make the edits. Good service for Sushi, fast and in perfect contdition.

I have several miners on the pool and got rid of some hardware. Is there any way I can delete the workers from the pool.

Holy F8 S8

SUSHI Is now the second re-seller/manufacturer to ever deliver an ASIC to me within 14 days! That makes 2/13 and doubles my success rate!

Regardless thanks sushi, the ant arrived perfect and was up and hashing in under 2 minutes.  No issues whatsoever.

Order # was about 350 ordered on the 21st.

Mine is due in today. Does it have regular pci-e connections or do you have to cut up a pic-e extender?

I notice there's a wireless antennae interface on this here antminer.  Has anyone used the wireless on this device and is it stable?

H@shKraker

I has built in wireless but the setup instruction linked on page one of this thread suggest that its not reliable. The previous poster mentioned that, alternate wireless instructions are included on that post as well.

Even though the Bitmain AntMiner supports built-in Wi-Fi mining, to get the best out of the miner while running Wi-Fi at home, here is an easy solution for you and we tested it for over 24-hours and so far it’s working.

You can use any similar items to make it work.  We picked readily available item at the US BestBuy Sotre.  Netgear Model#: WNCE2001-100NAS.  (Price was $49.99)

If you happens to be living in a dorm, apartment or wherever you can only access to the internet via Wi-Fi, this will make the Bitmain Antminer believe it’s connected to the wired Ethernet and this will not stress the miner.

Bandwidth use during the last 24-hours or more like 36 hours happened to be RX: 38.86 MB (161800 Pkts.) & TX: 14.68 MB (105524 Pkts.)

We purchased the above item to test it out with the Bitmain AntMiner and it worked!
