163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: January 29, 2019, 05:42:11 AM
Seeing how the odds are pretty often against you in gambling as the gambling services are for making money out of you and not the reverse, do you still decide to gamble? If so, why?
I played gambling because my favorite gambling games website give me more choice than just be a gambler, i can be house of gambling games and it gives me good chance to getting money from the gambling games. So i don't blame the gambling games because everything depends on our strategy of playing gambling games to get the money and getting entertainment in gambling games.

166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: January 28, 2019, 05:53:58 AM
Thing you need to know about probably fair websites

1> you control your part of secret
2> website has its know secure text, you get hash for it, so it ensure that there can not be any alteration to the server secret

so a bet roll is generated using 1 & 2, which ensures there is no cheat.

Now consider this

1> your account is hosted on there website, all it takes is 1 command to database to delete your whole account and you will not prove anything.

suppose a user deposited 10 BTC, the website can simply delete his account and claim its never been created, so what use are your secrets hash.

2> or they can alter your password and claim its been hacked and its your responsibility

[ remember : password is saved as hash in the database, so they cannot know your password but they can definitely change it , and claim its been hacked]

FOR NOW THE ONLY SOLUTION SEEMS TO ME IS TO USE , A SMART ETHEREUM CONTACT OR USE BITCOIN ON-CHAIN BETTING.
Well the solutions for it is decentralize gambling games and it is not on smart contract ethereum platform only, because we know about the numbers of transaction processing in ethereum blockchain is slow especially when many people who use ethereum. We need other blockchain technology which gives us fast of transaction processing in gambling games and EOS blockchain can help our problem with gambling games.

168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use diversification? on: January 28, 2019, 05:06:47 AM
For example, you have some altcoin (in my case it's Metaverse ETP) and you expect it to grow. But in a weak market, this altcoin behaves like bull and you have the opportunity now to sell it and buy an asset that looks weak in the market (for example Qash, Tierion, Nem, Odyssey or Republic Protocol) in order to get the greatest possible profit. Or leave a strong asset and wait for its further growth. What do you think about this?
In my personal opinions what are you talking about is not diversification because all of your investment in cryptocurrencies although that is in different of cryptocurrencies. And it will not help you in condition down trend of cryptocurrencies price. If you want really make diversification, you must make investment in stock market, properties and the real of businesses. Don't forget the market of cryptocurrencies always goes down in the past and in the future.

I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.
No i don't trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies especially if they talk about investment in cryptocurrencies because in my personal opinions i always make analysis fundamental before making investment in cryptocurrencies. I don't like losing my money in cryptocurrencies so i will spend my time and my money to find more information about how to choose good instrument of investment in cryptocurrencies space.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS is next Ethereum on: January 27, 2019, 05:47:28 AM
It cannot be confirmed for this, eos is indeed a good development and one of the altcoins that deserves to be taken into account but to be able to replace ethereum is certainly still difficult because each coin has its own advantages, we will see in the future whether this can happen
It will certainly take time and if ETH and other coins will stop to be develop then probably EOS will take their place.
EOS is one of the legit coins in the market and it's popular for a reason but we have a lot of good and popular coins, its a tough competition
in the market so we can never tell in advance.
maybe that could happen because EOS is a coin that is more growing in the market and also this coin has many enthusiasts, I don't think it is difficult for EOS to surpass ETH because if ETH  popularity more decreases, then EOS is ready to be a replacement.
They both were dump, look at their ATH and compare, check it here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/eos/ - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#charts

The graph would say that there is a big decline of price, both are down like 10 times from all time high.

ETH ATH - 1,377 USD  - current price $115.84
EOS ETH - 21.46 USD - current price $2.44

You are right ethereum and EOS down trend in the price and it is something normal even the price of bitcoin was down trend, but how about the fundamental of aspects between them, i mean the numbers of transaction processing per second on ethereum blockchain and EOS blockchain, which are the most faster on them? The answer for it can be seen on here https://blocktivity.info/ based on this information EOS blockchain is number one be compared with ethereum.

Hi All,

I've been away for nearly a year. I've done all the snapshot thing that happened and have all my passwords etc. Can someone please and kindly explain to me simply how I get my EOS back and which wallet I should put them in?  Smiley
Hello i think you must choose the wallet of greymas and import your EOS private key which get from register on your wallet of ethereum in ICO stage, in my personal experience the simple of EOS wallet is greymas you can check the link below and make sure read care fully and becarefull with your private key of EOS, do with your own risk of losing the funds in EOS.
https://github.com/greymass/eos-voter
Also you must see the video about how to use greymas here is the link on YouTube https://youtu.be/5jPWKaxiCjU
yes you are right also there is a lot of website who is trying to scam eos holder and geting access to their private keys. be aware of such websites
eos price is again droping and now its under 2.5$ again
i think in may 2019 crypto bullish move could happens as i get from research.
for now only i have to hold more coins of EOS and if the price goes under 2$ then i will buy more
If we saw the movement of cryptocurrencies price on 2017 the up trend was started in may, so i agree with you based on the movement of cryptocurrencies price in technical analysis. And here is some the latest updating of EOS in fundamental of aspects.

EOS GO is pleased to release the new EOS Smart Contract Development article. This is a series of articles that's going to explain how to develop smart contracts on top of EOS.

EOSIO was only launched seven months ago. But EOSIO is the world's most used blockchain software so far. There are also at least 260 projects on EOS, and several other blockchain projects are being migrated over.

So why are developers and businesses selecting EOSIO instead of countless other blockchains?

Here’s a few reasons:

1. Scalability: Attractive to businesses dealing with thousands of transactions.

2. Speed: Low latency, so users and businesses don't even need to know they're using a 'blockchain app'. This is central to the mass response of blockchain technology.

3. Cost: Free for the consumer, and from the developer's point of view, the operational cost of running an EOSIO network is similar to the cost of maintaining an existing server.

4. Green: No electricity is needed thanks to the dPoS agreement algorithm, and EOSIO is 66,000 times more energy efficient than Bitcoin and 17,000 times more energy efficient than Ethereum.

178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience: The key factor to succeeding in the crypto space on: January 25, 2019, 03:28:59 AM
I think the real key is "become smarter". You are not always to hold your assets with patience every time. For the coins that possibly die, you are absolutely better to sell them even if it is in bear market. While for top coins that may be promising for the next rise, it is no problem to hold. Become smarter means you know the best decision and how to make it to be true. But patience doesn't always mean a smart one, you should understand it..
I agree with you except we must be patient we must have more information, knowledge about the cryptocurrencies, businesses and investing. It is useful power in cryptocurrencies space and other, our knowledge will helps to make decision on all of instrument of investment, with knowledge investment is not risk we will get high risk if we don't know anything about the cryptocurrencies, so we must follow the trend of cryptocurrencies and the latest updating about the cryptocurrencies to be smarter.
Before patience you need to make a right choice! You can sit on some coins for life, but that doesn`t mean that will pay off one day, you need to choose right coin and sit on it for years. I saw many new tokens going to 1 satoshi after hitting exchanges, many coins had a long way to bottom, the key factor for succeeding in cryptocurrencies is choosing the right altcoins to invest in them.
Is not making right choice we need more information, knowledge first? At least you know about the fundamental of aspects projects of ICOs or alternatives coins, all of factors to be successfull in cryptocurrencies needs the right of information and knowledge about the cryptocurrencies. And if we want make profit from trading alternatives coins we also need the knowledge about analisys technical to find the trend of cryptocurrencies price including analysis fundamental.

LiquidEOS introduces LiquidApps - a platform that scales EOS!

LiquidEOS one of the top Block Producers in the EOS mainnet and team behind Bancor introduce LiquidApps.

LiquidApps is a platform that plans to scale EOS! It does that with the use of the "DAPP Network" ($DAPP): a range of products for developers and service providers that will make development of DApps more affordable.

To begin with, the DAPP Network will include two great products:

-vRAM: an alternative storage solution that is decentralized, and enables storing and retrieving of potentially unlimited amounts of data affordably and efficiently.

-ZEUS: ZEUS is a DApp software development kit (SDK) that enables developers to utilize LiquidApps products when creating DApps.
