1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 29, 2022, 11:49:26 PM
It's not worth paying 40 million for a player who is already 34 if the player is not Lewandowski. Why? because behind Lewandowski's 40 million price, there are other goals that can give Barcelona profits, in my opinion, such as selling jerseys and other merchandise.

It is impossible for Luis Suarez to return to Barcelona because the basis of Suarez's sale to Atletico Madrid is because he is no longer young and Barcelona needs younger players because of Barca's busy schedule. I think you still remember the reason why Barcelona officials let Luis Suarez off a few years ago.

I also agree that Barcelona needs young players to get ready for the future but I donít think buying Robert Lewandowski is a good decision because he is also not young either. If he was 27 or even 30 years old, paying close to 50 million would have made a lot more sense to me but now it doesnít really make any sense. For 50 million I think Barcelona will be able to find younger players. And they will be able to give their service for a longer time to Barcelona than Lewandowski. But I have to agree that the play style of Robert Lewandowski is going to help Barcelona a lot.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 29, 2022, 11:43:22 PM
We are not talking about any major players here. We are talking about the players who generally donít get any chance to play in the Indian national team and they are good to some extent and thatís why they get the chance of flying far from the teams which are not very good.

And why are we still talking about Nepal? It was just used as an example and any similarity of it with the real world is absolutely coincidental.

If someone can't get a chance to represent India or Pakistan, then it means that they don't have the necessary quality to take part in top quality cricket. Such players won't do any good even if they move to other teams. They will only steal the chances of hardworking native players. In case of the GCC nations, it is understandable. Without the foreign players, they won't be having a playing XI. But that is not the case with teams such as Kenya and Nepal, because the latter group do have a lot of natives playing cricket.

The problem is if a player is not good enough by the standards of India he can still be good enough by the standards of other countries where the standard is actually very low compared to India.

so it is very possible for those players to play for those countries. Nepal and Kenya have a lot of native players. But if teams like England and  UAE can play a lot of foreign players, why are they not going to be able to do that? But that does not mean I support doing that. I am just saying the rules should be equal for everyone.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY ITS SO POSITIVE THIS BEARMARKET. on: June 29, 2022, 04:53:37 PM
Agreeing with OP's view 1, the bear market is necessary for us to re-screen the market, weak, fraudulent projects will not exist, instead good projects for investors to choose from.

But it must also be said that shitcoins are part of the market, they will disappear during the bear market but will soon return with a different look when the bull market comes. So we don't need to worry too much about them.
since we are in a bear market, we just need to focus on bitcoin and top altcoins.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help and advice about crypto investment on: June 29, 2022, 04:30:46 PM
I haven't looked through the project yet because I see with a profit of 13%/month I can be sure that it is a scam project nothing more.
I would advise you to stay far away from it, and to never consider investing even a small amount of money in it.

As a newbie, don't just try to invest in scam projects with high-interest offers, you should focus on knowledge and then try to get started with bitcoin, beyond the top coins head instead of anonymous projects like this.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new bounty stopped coming? on: June 29, 2022, 04:19:29 PM
Bounties were instruments to create noise in the media and to stand out. Now, when there are only few projects worth investing, there is no need to create noise in media, because everyone spot such projects with any promotion.

That's also why, potential projects, worth the investment, they don't need too many advertising campaigns. Investors will come to them if they are really good.

According to my observations, the projects that launch the bounty campaign today are mostly trash projects, have little emphasis on the market and they need a strategy to promote their projects but instead of paying in USDT or btc, they pay with the project's own token. This helps them almost not spend too much money to advertise.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 29, 2022, 01:56:16 PM
I donít agree at all because suppose India has a lot of players who are not very good by the standards of Indian cricket. And Nepal wants to form a cricket team and play in the World Cup. Nothing serious but Nepal just wants to try things out.
Every country has some players who aren't really good Cricketers(Not just India), but Indian cricketers are usually far better than cricketers from several countries primarily due to their intense passion and competitiveness.
Also, if Nepal wants to recruit foreign players to build their team, that's an excellent move since they could actually compete with other teams.
Nepal has just got acquainted with cricket shortly. But they will do comparatively better than other. If we look at the Afghanistan team, they have made a place in the world of cricket in a very short of time. Their players are now always playing cricket in different franchises. Where many reputed players do not get the chance. So I believe that if Nepal tries to give the importance then they will have a good position.
I donít think that any major Indian player will chose Nepal over India, and the playerís thatíll chose to play for them, wonít be of the highest quality hence theyíll not really benefit if they actually tried it. However what they could do is outsource coaching to ex Indian playerís as they could train Nepal playerís, and further help them find talented playerís whoíre born there.

We are not talking about any major players here. We are talking about the players who generally donít get any chance to play in the Indian national team and they are good to some extent and thatís why they get the chance of flying far from the teams which are not very good.

Also, if Nepal wants to recruit foreign players to build their team, that's an excellent move since they could actually compete with other teams.
This is a ridiculous suggestion. Nepal doesn't want to import players, because then the Nepal national team will become India or Pakistan B team. National teams are there for a reason. National teams showcase the talent and diversity that is available in a country. That is why Germans and Belgians are very excited about the national teams for football, field hockey and basketball, but not so for cricket. Their football teams do have a couple of imports, but the team is 80% native. On the other hand, their cricket teams don't have a single native player. There is nothing German about the German cricket team and the government has also refused to recognize the team as theirs.

Yeah, I know what Nepal is trying to do or not. It's a stupid thing that people donít understand I was just trying to present a made-up situation. I was just trying to portray what might have happened if certain things were done in a certain way. We see that almost every associate team which is rich is stacking the team with Indian and Pakistan players who are not so good by the southeast Asian standards and they donít get any chance to play in the India or Pakistan team.

So they end up playing for teams like UAE. And this ends up hurting the teams that are actually trying to make a team with their own citizen a lot. I think it should be simple. If you have genuine players in your own country you go play cricket and if you donít, donít play.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 28, 2022, 03:12:33 PM
Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland are very weak teams as compared to India, England, Pakistan, Australia and Sri Lanka.
I think they will only play to give other big team big rating and ranking. But at least we can support them they are competing against beasts of cricket.
As we all know there are many flaws in ICC rules and their mindset is never been good for better and positive run of this game, so we have some good gape of quality between teams here they need to act in better way and try to keep very few test playing nations because it needs some good skills and technique and for T-20 it's never been like test format so supporting these teams for this format is surely ideal and can bring some healthy changes and competition for all teams.
As you already know, these are weak teams and need better support, so giving them good matches in this format is helpful for all teams. Sticking with Test format for high quality teams and now not giving any test cap to any new team is more helpful.

The problem is ICC is very much happy with the number of teams that are playing cricket regularly and I donít think they have any big plans to help the smaller teams get better. Obviously, there is also some amount of pressure from the big teams so ICC does not do that. With a bigger number of teams trying to play cricket regularly they are always a chance for the bigger teams will be beaten and really humiliated by the smaller teams and I think the bigger teams not wanting that is a big problem why ICC really doesnít want to make any problems with the bigger team lose those revenues. But if ICC was able to impose authority on the bigger teams I think the revenue board has been much bigger and also a lot more teams would have been playing cricket very regularly so by now.

I donít think that should be the case because a team should not be able to just get anyone in the team. They should at least be a citizen of the country. If that is the case then the county that only has a really good amount of money is going to be the better team. And the countries which are poor will not be going anywhere even if they try really hard. I am a firm believer in utilizing whatever resources I have so my opinion can be different from a lot of other people's. In my opinion, a country should only play with the players that are either born or citizens of that country.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about altcoin market on: June 27, 2022, 03:05:52 PM
Is polka-dot a good price at 7 dollars? This was its price two years ago, do you think that polka-dot can still go down or not? Have we met the bottom for altcoins or all these are just fake outs? What do you think about altcoin market.

You need to avoid projects that are dying and proceed with the new and trusted ones but this will take time for you to investigate the team behind that project in order to avoid getting scammed. When a bearish trend happened, some of the altcoins out there won't gonna survive after it and you might lose your investment if you happened to invest in those ones. That's why everyone is recommending investing in bitcoins because as of now, it is the safe haven for the investors. But I'm not closing the opportunity that the other altcoins bring, because some of them will have momentum after this bearish market.

Nowadays investing in altcoins can be quite risky, but if we intend to make a profit, we must accept that risk. It is very difficult to know what will be a scam project at this point, like the way Luna did, we won't know until it happens.
The best way is to focus 70%, 80% of assets in bitcoin and the rest you can research a few alts you consider worth holding.
In order to be successful, we must step outside our comfort zones and take risks.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH gas fees are low....A great time to get in? on: June 27, 2022, 02:54:39 PM
It seems that the persistent bear market drastically reduced ETH's network congestion. Gas fees have been ranging as low as 17 Gwei to 30 Gwei on average. The native cryptocurrency Ether (ETH) has been declining like crazy in Fiat terms, so it would be a lot cheaper to buy NFTs or do other network operations than before.

The drop in ETH gas fees to such lows can partly be due to the fact that the price of ETH has dropped significantly, and with a bear market, transactions will certainly not be as crowded as during a bull market. ETH still won't be able to solve the gas fee problem unless it completes the upgrade to the POS network.

I am not going to present a technical analysis, because long term chart shows it is riding with king bitcoin's halving period where ath happens and drops steadily in the next couple of years. But just in case it won't be the same, then you can actually start buying. Huge financial firms usually invest by tranche.

My projection on eth is it may drop as low as $400 range. But I will start buying from $1,000, then $900, down to $400 if ever it happens.
I think the same, ETH will most likely drop to $400 this cycle, although just a prediction with no guarantees but I will wait and only start buying when it drops below $700, I will start spreading buy orders.

India won the first match against Ireland pretty easily even though the match was reduced to 12 overs a side and this is the trend i am expecting in this series, unless Ireland proves otherwise Grin.
Thank god that the India-Ireland series consists of only two T20 matches, otherwise we might have to watch the boring matches between the two team which have no competition between them. The 2nd and the final match between these two teams will be played tomorrow and surely, India will win this series by 2-0  Smiley
Grin Absolutely correct! No comparison between both the sides. It was an easy win for India yesterday. What made me happy was to see Stake.com advertising their platform in this match. Intelligent way to promote a gambling platform in India.  I also think Ireland do not have a proper cricket stadium and as usual the crowd was full of Indian expats.
The match wasn't held in India, however, it was a good move by stake to sponsor this series. Not only many Asian people will come to know about stake site but at the same time when people will explore stake, they will be introduced to cryptocurrencies and bitcoins.  Smiley (As many people and cricket lovers are still not aware of crypto and prefer to contact bookies to bet on matches.

It was actually good to see Ireland trying to achieve something from that match, they actually batted well. Really well if we consider the level of both teams. But it was a good performance only from 1 batsman as it is expected to happen with low level teams. Generally, only 1-2 players play really well. But that is no matter for a team like India, they won the match comfortably. I am also happy that the matches are not ODI Smiley, it would have been boring. And I also think if Ireland can make some surprises it is going to be on the t20 format.

Edit: oh, I just missed it, yes Stake is spreading all over the world gradually. It really gave me an amazing feeling when I saw the Stake's logo on the stamps.

I am not sure why ICC alone is a corrupt one because they are allowing countries to add foreign players in their team. It is a global governing body for cricket and they want to see the game grow and reducing the number of countries who are allowing foreign players will not help developing the game.

It is not a business policy by the ICC but if a respective Cricket board selects players who are migrants, what is wrong in that. The general claim here in the forum is that, there must be a quota system. Let the respective Cricket board gets the authority to select the best team possible and not enforce these quota system.
Under the current situation, I think it is better to actually not have a team that is made entirely out of foreign players rather than having them just to increase the number of cricket-playing countries around the world. Because of these countries, a lot of countries who are actually interested in cricket but not very rich and also donít get the necessary funding from ICC are not being able to produce genuine talent, genuine local talent.

Its not just Cricket that does it. Every sport does it. Why do you think literally every countries top Badminton and Table tennis players look Asian? because they are. Football does it too. France have a ton of imports and so does Qatar and other middle eastern teams. So, Cricket isn't an exception where countries are getting imports into the sport. The way most sports do it is by providing the players with citizenship to their country and then let them play. International sports governing bodies should put in a rule so that countries cant take major advantage of it. Like, a rule stating that a Sportsman should be a citizen of the country for at least 5-10 years before he can participate in a particular sport. That would surely help curb the cases.
If a Player who Wants to play for another country has been staying in that country for several years and if the country can make him a citizen of them, I donít have any problem. But the way it is done in cricket is that they just collect players from India and Pakistan who are not playing generally very well and get them in the team. It is basically like smurfing in video games.

The general claim here in the forum is that, there must be a quota system. Let the respective Cricket board gets the authority to select the best team possible and not enforce these quota system.
I completely agree with you here. I detest these quota systems which is why it's good to see Cricket teams from around the world accepting foreign players without any sort of issues whatsoever.
As you mentioned, Cricket teams should continue to have full liberty to choose whoever they want(Domestic or Foreign) without any sort of restrictions in my opinion.
I donít agree at all because suppose India has a lot of players who are not very good by the standards of Indian cricket. And Nepal wants to form a cricket team and play in the World Cup. Nothing serious but Nepal just wants to try things out.

Do you think they are going to search for the local talent or they are just going to take the easy way and form a team with Indian players who are willing to play for Nepal?

This causes two problems. First of all, Nepalese are not playing cricket actually and that is not going to increase the popularity of cricket. secondly, The team who are actually trying to find local talents but still not very good at cricket are not going to be able to come forward.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 26, 2022, 07:12:23 PM
If ICC makes big changes to this rule right now and they suddenly decide that they will not be even one single foreign player in any country a lot of teams are going to lose their shit. As far as I see this they can do two things.
~~~
What is the point in having these artificial "national" teams? The ICC should just admit that cricket is a sport that is limited to a handful of countries. They should be honest, rather than creating illogical national teams. Once again, I don't have an issue if 2 or 3 foreigners are present in the playing XI. But in 80% of the associate teams, all the 11 players in the XI are made of foreigners. During the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, we had one such team (Oman) and for the next edition of the world cup there will be more (Oman, United Arab Emirates and Singapore).
We all have a very good idea now that ICC is anything but honest. They are always going to look for profits instead of thinking about what is best for cricket in the long run. And that is happening because of some corrupt authority personnel in the ICC. Everyone should have a problem if a national team is made out of a hundred percent foreign players. Here we are talking about how to fix this situation and meanwhile, we have more teams like that about to take part in the next World Cup. It feels as if ICC is actually encouraging this type of behavior or should I say ďBusiness Policy.Ē This needs to be stopped ASAP.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing projects before launch on: June 26, 2022, 06:26:12 AM
At present, there is no platform or website that aggregates all new projects or all the information of a project so that we can search them. All research must be done by us from so many different sources, finding a hidden gem is not easy. I often use twitter as a place to start searching and updating daily news.
And one more thing, I think ICO projects are no longer a potential investment place, you can participate in investing in newer models IEO, IDO...held on leading platforms launch or exchanges so just monitoring their notification channels is enough.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 26, 2022, 06:22:58 AM
ICC cannot do much even in this aspect, if all the countries can stack foreign players then they would have done that already just like UAE and other GCC countries, the respective Cricket boards takes those decisions and not the ICC. ICC only facilitate the matches and encourage the boards to be proactive and find talents the rest are the responsibility of their national cricket boards.
It is the ICC that makes eligibility rules. So they can't claim that they are helpless here. Actually, until two decades ago, foreigners were not allowed in to national teams. This rule was changed sometime in the 2000s, due to the pressure from Emirates Cricket Board. In no other sports, it is possible to include even one foreigner in the national team. And in cricket, we have "national teams" that are entirely comprised of foreigners. Until this system changes, cricket will remain limited to a handful of countries.
If ICC makes big changes to this rule right now and they suddenly decide that they will not be even one single foreign player in any country a lot of teams are going to lose their shit. As far as I see this they can do two things.
They can make a rule that a player will surely have to be a citizen of a country to play for the national team. If a person has the citizenship of a certain country he will be able to play for that country and that country only.
They can make a rule that only a certain number of players who are citizens of a different country will be able to play for another country. And foreign players will be playing under contract. Only one party cannot terminate the contract. But both parties will be able to terminate the contract if they have a mutual understanding. And a foreign player who has played for a certain country will not face any kind of ban if he successfully completes his contract and wants to play for his own country after that.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Going hard on these projects on: June 26, 2022, 06:13:09 AM
I want these altcoins by all means, not in a bad way though, I believe they can add more value in my life by 2025, just five altcoins, though i planned for ten projects but I believe these five are the best.
1. Moonbeam   ATH: 19$  Possible prediction: 100$
2. Elrond            ATH: 540$  Possible Prediction: 1000$ to 2000$
3. Near               ATH: 20$    Possible Prediction: 250$
4. Solana.           ATH: 260$   Possible Prediction: 1200$
5. Mina protocol       ATH: 9$   Possible Prediction: 30$
What do you think? Any project you feel is better, minus BTC and ETH is welcome.
As can be seen, they are all potential investments, and you have research and selected five coins that piqued your interest, and that is your plan. Wish you success with it.
But there is one thing I want to tell you, although the 5 altcoins you listed are potential you should not be too subjective about your choice, the market is unpredictable, bad things can happen so you don't put all your money in these 5 coins. A portfolio will not be safe without bitcoin and eth, so I suggest you invest 50% of your assets in bitcoin and eth, and the remainder in these five altcoins.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops vs Bounties on: June 26, 2022, 06:03:12 AM
Personally I had earn much more from airdrops as well as too much earn from geniuen bounty campaign too . I had earn from UniSwap and ENS and some small airdrop too while on the other hand I participate in legendary bounty manager campaign like yahoo, Murat, cryptobrainboss, bounty detective , Hhampuz these are the BM which give me handsome money for work.
So I believe both will reward a handsome money .
Bounties and airdrops have long ceased to be effective methods of making money. I don't think it's worth wasting time on them any longer.
Obviously, not all of them are scams but sometimes it is hard to find a worthwhile project and we will get very small rewards, sometimes they are not exchangeable.  If the bear market is a very difficult place to make money then you can find yourself online jobs other than crypto, which is also a good way to survive during this time.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is right time for investment ? on: June 26, 2022, 05:47:11 AM
Hi everyone hope you guys are doing great i just want to ask a quick question in last days Elon musk tweeted about the meme token doge and after that the meme tokens are trending so i found one good project named Hippoinu.io the first web 3.0 aggregator where user can earn rewards in all meme tokens and i think investing in this project is legit and they have a presale on pinksale on 26th june 14:00 UTC i am thinking to take part in the presale but i am scared of losing money so i need suggestions from you guys should i invest in it or not . I also share you website and website link
website: https://hippoinu.io/
whitepaper: https://hippoinu.io/whitepaper-en.pdf
You say you are afraid of losing money means you are also doubting the project's ability to succeed, I think you don't need our advice anymore because you don't really believe in the project then it's best not to invest in it. The market is dropping a lot of good coins with great discounts why don't you choose one of them. Potential old coins will have a chance to recover strongly and reach new ATH instead of investing in a new project with too much risk when investing at this stage.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 24, 2022, 07:34:46 PM
Quote
From past records I'm gradually observing that many countries are no longer serious about the league's of the nations, the performance of 2021 is far more different and better comparing it with the performances we are seeing right now in the  UEFA Nations League 2022.
I think, many countries are very serious in UEFA Nation league competition just that their players prefer to demonstrate well in their clubs than in their own countries which is causing them poor performance in this UEFA Nation league 2022. Many strong teams dropped out in this season, because all those teams that didn't  perform well in 2021 are the one leading this season tournament. Hungary team are really demonstrating in this tournament, because they have defeated many strong teams in this UEFA Nation league competition.
Honestly, I am someone who likes to see club football a lot more compared to international football, unless it is the world cup. I really am not someone who is generally excited to see international-friendly matches.
This happened a few days ago. I was asking one of my friends what he thinks about the UEFA Nations League?
And he told me that he was not following the away financial League at all and after that he said,""who the hell cares about UEFA Nations League?"".
And I obviously cannot say that this is not the situation for a lot of players playing in the UEFA Nations League.
