1  Other / Off-topic / Re: Habits on: February 11, 2020, 05:36:15 PM
Changing a habit is a big challenge, especially if it is well established. On the other hand, if we look in the mirror, we are all able to identify a habit that we would like to change.

With each beginning of the year we have that intention to do or stop doing something. Many times we started well, but after a short time we started doing the same thing again.

The good news is that there are effective methods for changing a habit. Sometimes what fails is not your will, but the strategy. Of course, this requires effort and perseverance, but without an appropriate method, it is much more difficult to achieve this goal of change.

3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to buy bitcoin with PayPal in 2020 [NEW] on: February 11, 2020, 03:16:20 PM
If you use PayPal the government will know about your transaction. I already bought a lot of Bitcoin using transfer via Best Western. I have always transferred within the norms of my country so as not to have problems with legalization. The ideal would be P2P but I still find it a bit complicated.

5  Economy / Gambling / Re: IDEA - new concept for strategy game on: February 11, 2020, 02:47:57 PM
I found the idea interesting. Sometimes people say: "this is not going to work". But I think it all depends on the genius of who is behind the idea. Just remember what happened to the tablets.
Steve Jobs took a stage at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, an event space in the city of San Francisco, California to present the next step in a successful saga that began with the iPod, went through the iPhone to finally reach the iPad , on January 27 of that year, 2010.
Tablets were not exactly a novelty. The idea has been around for a long time, and some products of this type have been on the market since the 1990s. At the turn of the millennium, Microsoft even coined the term “Tablet PC” to designate computers in portable format, normally thought to be used with a stylus.
Even though it existed for more than a decade, the format was never a commercial success. Companies have always failed to create a product that is attractive to the end consumer and that justifies its price. Only Apple was able to understand what the public wanted for a tablet format, also relying a little on the famous “reality distortion magic” that only Steve Jobs was able to use.

8  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Popularize Bitcoin with another way : lasers and technology danceshow on: February 11, 2020, 01:37:38 PM
I have been passionate about Bitcoin since 2012 and I think that everything we can do to make Bitcoin increasingly popular will be very welcome. I think we should also try to facilitate understanding of Bitcoin for lay people. How about also making some videos to spread this understanding?

Different lines of study and thought in the area of astrology and African-based religion consider that 2019 was a year that varied from reasonable to difficult in several areas in society. However, everyone is predicting that 2020 should be better.

One of the biggest questions that hang in the air, for both men and women, is about choosing the gift. Knowing the other's preferences is undoubtedly among the basic requirements to be successful in the task. Those who are engaging the relationship now, however, need not be terrified. In fact, the challenge may be a little bigger, but it is not an impossible task to be accomplished.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can supplements be bad for you? on: February 05, 2020, 10:02:34 PM
These products seduce young people with the promise of accelerating muscle mass gain. However, using it on your own can have serious health consequences.
Teenagers, especially those born in the digital age, want everything for yesterday. It is not for nothing that many of them wish to exchange the child's body for a more muscular or defined version in the shortest possible time. Stepping into the gym, they are an easy audience for sports supplements, especially those that increase muscle mass, such as whey protein, BCAA and creatine.
In general, the eagerness for quick results of muscle mass gain and the need to overcome their own limits, increasing their own performance, make athletes not think about the long-term results. "Excess hormones such as testosterone, for example, can decrease erection capacity, cause pimples, cause hair to grow around the body - facts that can bring reflexes for the rest of life."

When Trump ran for president for the first time, many laughed at his pathetic candidacy. At this time, I read about a seer there in Brazil who said that Trump would win. Even I laughed at this fortune teller because I imagined she was talking a big bullshit. We were all totally wrong. Now, recently, I saw again the predictions of this seer and she said that Trump will be re-elected. It will be?

My daughter is married and has a 3 year old son. She is a nutritionist and teaches in several cities in Brazil and Lisbon (Portugal). In addition she started teaching an online course which took a lot of her time. She started work at 8 am and continued until 11 pm or 12 pm. As a result, she had a Burnout syndrome and had to leave work for 10 days, in addition to having to take several medications.
Burnout Syndrome or Professional Exhaustion Syndrome is an emotional disorder with symptoms of extreme exhaustion, stress and physical exhaustion resulting from exhausting work situations, which demand a lot of competitiveness or responsibility.
The main cause of the disease is overwork. This syndrome is common in professionals who work daily under pressure and with constant responsibilities, such as doctors, nurses, teachers, police, journalists, among others.
This syndrome can result in a state of deep depression and it is therefore essential to seek professional support in the onset of the first symptoms.
Given this, we can see that the most important is our health. If we start to sacrifice our body, one day it gets sick.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like Virtual reality? on: February 04, 2020, 09:47:49 PM
Games using virtual reality are very interesting. But today I see a lot of people just thinking about playing, playing and playing. If they still don't have a job, I think this area of virtual reality has a lot that we can do professionally to make money. In my engineering area we have a lot where we can apply virtual reality. I think playing is very good, but if you don't have a job yet, do a study program and start learning virtual reality professionally. You will see how your life will change.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Hoax on: February 04, 2020, 09:31:03 PM
Whether it is hoax or not, the truth is that with this news something will happen in China.
A disease like this can hinder international travel, negotiations and growth expectations. China is a very important country and is being hit hard during the Chinese New Year, which has an important effect on the country's economy. We still do not know how serious the epidemic is, if it is going to be similar to that of Sars in 2003. As everything is very incipient, the climate is uncertain.
This year we have already had a crisis between Iran and the United States, creating the possibility of a more serious conflict and increasing pressure in the Middle East. Now the coronavirus. This increases uncertainty worldwide and affects asset prices. Given the risks we already have, the effects of Brexit, the American election in the second half, the situation of the Latin American economy after so many upheavals last year, Australia with very intense fires, the beginning of the year is not calm. For assets in general, for Exchanges, it is quite bad, it brings more volatility and the growth rate of the economy tends to be lower. How much less will depend on how the coronavirus evolves.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoin is enough? on: February 04, 2020, 09:12:59 PM
It depends a lot. Enough for what?
If it is for you to live, it will depend on what your lifestyle is like and for how long these coins will give you survival conditions.
If you already have a house to live in and don't need to pay rent, that makes it a little easier.
Ideally, you should have a means to make money and buy some coins every month. Set yourself an amount that you should keep every month. If you don't already have a job, there are thousands of options. From walking dogs to people who own dogs and don't have time to walk dogs to computer development and programming services.
I have a friend who knows a lot about computers but was not finding a job that paid him enough. So he learned how to clean house pools and today he works with it and he already has 10 employees working for him. He is currently able to save approximately 0.6 bitcoins every month
17  Economy / Economics / Re: agriculture and bitcoin on: February 04, 2020, 08:56:02 PM
I think you can use blockchain technology.
Blockchain transforms the agricultural supply chain by simplifying the transition between producers and retail. Through the possibility of quickly identifying the sources as well as verifying deviations. If an irregularity is detected somewhere in the food chain, the system can take you to the point of origin, which makes investigations easier and more assertive, reducing the need for multiple conferences.
In this way, the entry point for small-scale farmers begins to look for opportunities. Entering the supply chain through the ease developed with the reduction of intermediaries becomes an opportunity.
If you have bitcoins then you can use them to buy supplies and machines for your agribusiness.

19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: January 30, 2020, 09:15:22 PM
The other day I was asked if the coronavirus could influence the price of bitcoin. China has approximately 2 billion inhabitants, it seems that 80 people have died so far. But common flu kills much more than that in African countries and no one says anything. It is certain that it is a new virus and an antidote has to develop quickly. But then I think the world will start buying bitcoin to protect itself, I think there is a lot of speculation.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think the meaning of life is? Or at least to you? on: January 30, 2020, 08:55:02 PM
For this topic about the meaning of life I think that if you get millions of responses you will not see one like the other. The meaning of life before God? The meaning of my life for other people who are close to me? The meaning of my life and of all humanity for your fellow men? But I will try ... In my life I try to be happy, however, much more I try to make people happy. Life is not as difficult as some people say, I think people make life difficult. There are people who get irritated by anything, they are in a bad mood all day, they yell at their colleagues and family, they create a bad climate for her and for everyone who is around and then they say that life is very bad. I try to smile whenever I can. It is obvious that this will sometimes not be the case.
