reserved to supply more info here.

Maybe a functionality to revert payments.  Smiley

That would bring even more scams

I'm sad to report that Bitcoinstore.com has encountered our first scammer:

*
 refund which was promptly sent.

Unfortunately an extra 4.5119 was also sent to him that he is refusing to return. (I understand that this is partially Bitcoinstore's fault)

The Bitcoin address and payments in question are:  http://blockchain.info/address/1H4UR5M72Ybpo4zrqWe8JKKYSeN1gxqBcU

He has refused to refund the money when asked via email,  and when I called on the telephone,  he hung up on me as soon as I told him my name.

Other than the reputational enforcement from this posting,  I don't know what else can be done.

Any ideas?

BitcoinStore customer information is normally considered private, and will only be divulged in cases of blatant attempted scamming.
Because this order was placed with Bitcoin,  we have no idea if the above is his real name,
but we can assume that the address is valid,  and I know that the telephone number is valid as well
because when I called him,  he knew exactly who I was, and why I was calling.

Thanks for the info, I have been scammed myself and i know it sucks. My thread is in here if you can help me.
I wouldn't (personaly) add contact info online such as phones or address, but i would try to find the scammer's accounts to post

Oh god, .onion-site, Comic Sans Serif. Everything about this SCREAMS scammer. Why, oh why, would anyone send money to a site like that?

You are right, now i understand that.

OP, is there any particular reason you chose to do business with them compared to more a reputable company like Mt. Gox (or even BTC-e)?

My little knowledge and only little research got me there, as i thought there is no other place to buy quickly btc throu ukash (which i could buy easily)
Its all my own fault okay, but i do not believe that i deserved that

6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Scammed by Bitexchange [265 GBP] [~30btc] on: December 17, 2012, 06:50:07 PM
Bitexchange is a new bussiness that started out on November 14 (Thats when his domain was registered)

Me, as a newbie, always wanted to own some real bitcoins, so after only a little research and finding him from online ads (another member here owns the adds) decided to go with him. Havent seen any negative feedback thought is was going to be ok. I got 265 GBP Ukash vouchers and sent them directly to bitexchange on 4th of December (on his onion link which i found later online on some webpage. assuming it was going to be more "sure" that i was getting my bitcoins (i know now..))

4th of December screenshot: http://i47.tinypic.com/2b4rqu.jpg (on request i can sent the image via mail, tinypic modified its date metadata)
Waited 10 days assuming that as he is a human cannot do everything on time and then came on this forum (on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=41228.msg1400460#msg1400460 ) explaining what happened. From 4th-Dec he still has 4135btc "available" on his site, although according to anonymousads he gets 207 clicks per day on average(including i guess some from this forum, because ads owner advertises him here on his signature).

Those 10 days i sent him 1 or 2 mails asking whats happening w/o any reply. After posting in the thread i gave i pm'ed AND mailed him the link notifing him of this to give me an explanation OR my bitcoins which I PAID for! He is online from time to time BUT never replies.

From 14-Dec to today i was in contact with ukash (i have provided the mails i got in the other thread), with ActionFraud which told me to remove any post regarding this (which will be removed entirely sometime) and sent emails also to his hosting-or-domain registrant abuse@.. (info on whois also provided in the other thread)

What i need is him to contact me from here or on my email to pay my bitcoins..
OR at least, him to give an explanation

Address to check if any bitcoins recieved: 1FACqt6nkx9GDxJ3JZpyqW9LXoG9HkzpVm (This is my old address, as of 14/15-Dec)

(Pictures, btc address or other info may be removed again)

His membership here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=72402
Member who is paid to show ads here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=20767 (18/12 removed ad from sig)
His post that validates he owns both onion and biz domains: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=41228.msg1378432#msg1378432

Not a simple fuck was given?? From any mod?? That is wierd
And i do not mean that anyone (but him) has to give me btc... Just as a mod they have to keep it clean and out of scammers here? Dunno just a thought

Nevermind, ActionFraud told me to remove any evidence from the forums, so i will do, and i will be around for anyone who requests that evidence.

Have fun and be careful
(Google keywords: bitexchange IS scam )
You should post here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0).
We don't give a fuck to anything we are not notified of as we don't read every single post in this forum.

I have sent report and pm'ed all the mods of the newbie section. I understand that you cant read every single post. As of yesterday i couldnt open a thread there, today there is a button. Thanks.

Oh, I see now. You mean the signature in my profile and posts. It is just a graphic version of ads. Ad #319 is paid to be shown for  affiliate #1 (that is me). See https://anonymousads.com/relay/34148.

I don't know if this is scam or not, I don't have specific policy regarding this issue yet.  Undecided

But I should rework something to make it clear that this ad is not mine.

Hmm lets say its not a scam, but how come it has 207 average clicks per day, and the same amount of bitcoins (4135) from 4th of December and after???
Its not really a question, im just wondering. Also its the only ad that comes first when loading a page that has your ads. After 2-3 refresh it changes ad...

Acording to this: https://anonymousads.com/ad/319 The payment address for this ad is 1BqnbKqcoqjcfFEtnFE7WZaWmYHbRbgscp
which received 4 btc(blockchain says so), 1 from 1JU9pyaheBZvsJ51StiUfaPrggZKovWn9q, and 3 from: 1ARMjX4FReSUJ1S25m2uUAZBhujNo4AAwg
which i believe are his addresses. If there is god i will find something from those. All this will be used as evidence for ActionFraud, and i really hope i get something out of this all.

I don't know who bitexchange is. Sorry, didn't get it: why do you think it is me?

Sorry for that then, i didnt say its you, i said possibly, and that is because of your signature. But let me ask why do you promote a POSSIBLE scammer?
I will give my best self to prove what i say, but i really hope everything happened, happened by mistake and in the end he will contact me.

A little more update (if anyone cares)

I replied to ukash requesting to verify/write to me (at least) that the value of those cards was as i told, and got that back:

I am sorry that this has happened to you but I am not allowed to provide you any information about this payment.
If you report this case to Action Fraud they will contact Ukash and then we are allowed to provide all information we have in our system.

More updates after few days i guess after contacting ActionFraud, and lets hope that i get all the needed info.
(Sorry for taking over this thread, I pm'ed SomeoneWierd asking if i can get a thread on the scammers section, so hopefully my posts will be moved there)

EDIT: Although i have pm'ed bitexchange here and sent him another mail linking him to this thread, he came online today with not even a reply or a mail.
Possible same person: user arsenische(signature) and user Bitexchange
On his site he says he has 4135 btc, from when i first visited it, i will search for cached mirrors of this site from when it opened ((if this number is real) 31 of those btc are MINE and i will keep chase them,
no mater what the result will be for me)
Update: Wayback-machine doent have a copy of this site, i will keep searching. Anyone who may have a screenshot of this site older that 4 Dec, please sent
(webwhois: http://reports.internic.net/cgi/whois?whois_nic=bitexchange.biz&type=domain (gladly with a company abuse contact mail))

You can buy bitcoins with Ukash or Paysafecard on our site:
http://bitexchange.rem/

Official TOR hidden service mirror:
http://removed.rem/

THIS is a total scam. I sent 265 GBP value vouchers on 4th of December, and never got anything back. I can provide screenshots, and mails i have sent but never replied.

IF it happened by mistake please contact me to provide new bitcoin address. (Just now changed my bt address on my online wallet) (You can verify its same person by sending you ukash vouchers and contact by email) (but i doupt its a mistake)

EDIT: Screenshot provide: removed
Old address to see for yourself if any bitcoins recieved on blockchain: removed

EDIT2: I will try to get in contact with ukash so i can provide here even more evidence on the vouchers value, and where did they been spent (where bitexchange redeemed to be more accurate), Hope they can provide this info to me.

Also, kinda offtopic, why cant i open a new thread on the scammers section? My guess, low post count?

--------------
EDIT3: Ukash customer support replied (w/o much info sadly):

I am sorry but I cannot provide you any information where the Codes has been spent. These information can only provided to the police.
