761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like to learn and use bitcoin on: September 05, 2020, 03:59:55 PM
I have an interest on cashless payment.
I don't like to have many coins from change money.
I also want to have a borderless payment system that can be accepted globally.
that's why I used paypal, liberty reserve, and perfect money since 10 years ago I think.

and then android and ios era leads me to installs several mobile wallets, which gives me many benefits.
it also leads me to digged more, until I found Bitcoin.

I like it, because of the blockchain.
that made me think, that blockchain is a democratization of a digital world.
maybe Bitcoin is not the future, but I am pretty sure that Blockchain is.

764  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you prefer to buy bitcoin or do bitcoin mining? on: September 04, 2020, 06:49:48 PM
maybe I will state crypto in general, because I have experience in mining eth and other alts, but not bitcoin.
honestly, I am in lost in crypto mining.
I started mining since 2 years ago I think. I know I am late.
I lost my money and time. but I am an enthusiast who wants to learn.

Do you prefer to buy bitcoin or do bitcoin mining?
my answer depends on several conditions.
with this current market (crypto and computer) situation, I prefer to buy it.  Grin

if you are an early adopter, or
if you have a cheap rig with high hash power, or
if you have cheap electricity.
maybe mining is your choice.

but, if you have no time to maintain your rig, or
if you don't have computer skills, or
if you want an instant process.
maybe buying crypto is your choice.
765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain technology in universities on: September 04, 2020, 06:19:59 PM
Blockchain can help education for:

1. Student records.
2. Diplomas and certificates.
3. Badges (skills, technical knowledges, specific abilities, etc).
4. File storage.
5. Lessons and courses.
6. Publishing.
7. Lower costs.
8. Rewards.

766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now the 6th largest world currency on: September 04, 2020, 05:45:18 PM
Is btc still in 6th place after yesterday fall?

data from coinmarketcap:
currently the circulation supply for Bitcoin is about 18.479.562, with price $10.426,43 for each bitcoin.
marketcap = $192.676 billion.

Money Supply M0 in Russia (June 2020) 11516.40 RUB Billion.
Which mean $152,71 billion.

So it's still in 6th place. CMIIW.

767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto is alive? Today he posted on p2p foundation. Your opinion? on: September 04, 2020, 04:55:04 PM
He released one of the first pepper that described Bitcoin on that website.
According to Wikipedia, Satoshi Nakamoto's p2p foundation account was allegedly hacked in September 2014.
A post was made to his account that said his information was being sold on Darknet.

768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 04, 2020, 04:32:54 PM
The first half of the Premier League season will witness a different performance from previous seasons, due to the absence of fans in most stadiums, Leeds v Liverpool match might be one of those surprises so anything is possible in football!! Angry

I can feel their supporters already.
Leeds - they want to see their teams playing the first match after they come back to the EPL.
Liverpool - they want to see their teams playing the first match as a defending champion after a long long time.
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 04, 2020, 03:51:32 PM
The Messi saga still far away from end I guess.

If messi finally leaves, Barcelona will secure Georginio Wijnaldum & Memphis Depay I think.
according to this news: https://www.90min.com/posts/barcelona-georginio-wijnaldum-memphis-depay-player-sales

oh, another Chelsea rumor,
They want Rennes Goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy.
their coach (kepa arrizabalaga), will have a new contender. lol
770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 04, 2020, 09:42:23 AM
Micro-transactions. I don't know anyone who doesn't hate it (except the people who actually play the games and spend their money on it of course).

It's a really clear way of gambling for me, but to others it's just chance that they're not forced to pay for. Brilliant strategy and it's only a matter of time before this gets regulated.

yeah, it's an approach for soft gambling.
they spend diamonds/gems/or whatever they named it, to get a chance to win premium items such as skin, weapon, etc.
the funny thing is, sometimes it is more interesting than the gameplay itself.

772  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com | Art Contest - $5000 Prizepool up for grabs! Ends August 31st on: September 04, 2020, 03:33:02 AM
Congrats to all winners.
To participant who mad that their artwork not selected here,
art is a subjective thing, and it should be a subjective thing.

Next time try to make something that you can still use even you lose the contest.
So it’s still a win for you.

773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any VR crypto casinos? on: September 03, 2020, 05:50:08 PM
VR equipment is not bought for the sake of gambling, it offers much more than that. And while certainly not everyone can afford it, not everyone can afford casinos either. And people who spend hundreds or dollars in casinos can definitely afford a VR headset. Moreover, it's estimated that there are 171 million VR users in the world, which is quite a big market for casinos, no? As for the point about using a physical casino, there are many ways to object here:
1. You are physically seen as you are in the real casino, and many gamblers might want to avoid that.
2. Casino can be a place where criminals hang out, so losing or winning from one in the real is dangerous, whereas VR offers high levels of safety.
3. VR offers to experience things that would not be possible in a physical place (like flying, diving into a certain world etc.).
4. Provably fair gambling cannot be done properly in a physical casino, but VR would allow that.

5. with the current pandemic situation, social distancing can't be done properly in a physical casino.  Grin

171 million VR users in the world, but including Google Cardboard app I guess.
I've tried Google Cardboard app, I think it can be used to play a simple web based casino VR.
just like a pornhub vr video lol.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 03, 2020, 05:07:08 PM
Finally... He was heavily linked with a move away from ajax so I knew it was bound to happen. Although it's still too early to say whether Van de Beek would shine in EPL, I know for a fact that he would be a solid addition to Man Utd's midfield. I'm looking forward to seeing how he partners with both Fernandes and Pogba. They should now concentrate on closing the deal for Sancho.

glad to see that united finally signed a quality player like Donny Van de Beek (am I trying to overrate him already?)

sancho is a good player, but a proven striker such as Hary Kane will be a great choice for united (IMO).
I hope it will be a surprize transfer in the next few weeks.

Oh about the transfer window, with this pandemic situation, and more player seems infected,
any new regulation about it? maybe the time period will be extended or something?
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police reportedly seize South Korea's largest crypto exchange Bithumb on: September 03, 2020, 04:54:30 PM
so, is this news the reason for the red market?
Korean market is a big crypto investor pool.
Bithumb also is one of the big and well-known crypto exchanges.
With that amount of money, it can lead to a bad impression for mass adoption in Korea.
776  Economy / Services / Re: I want a job in crypto on: September 03, 2020, 03:52:23 PM
I will add more crypto job directory website for your references.

https://cryptojobslist.com/
https://crypto-job.com/
https://www.upwork.com/freelance-jobs/cryptocurrency/

You can add more details about your skills (includes software that you can use), working time and time zone, etc.
Maybe you have experience on writing, social media management etc.

and also your rate per hour (maybe).

because, if your rate is good enough even if you have a very basic skill, you can be hired as a virtual personal assistant here.
777  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] Casineos Signature Campaign | Hero/Legendary (Payment rate update) on: September 03, 2020, 02:14:09 PM
I've received mine. You guys should check your XRP balance as well  Wink

I think they chose to pay in XRP coz the fee in bitcoin is too high compare to XRP as of the moment.

are you sure?
because I haven't received it yet.

it's been 2 hours since your post.
I wonder if there's an issue with my account, or other participants haven't received their payment too.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Strategies to apply on a betting exchange on: September 03, 2020, 01:12:44 PM
few minutes ago I picked a random match.
I placed a bet blindly.
I tested it with a small amount of DOGE  Grin.

Haltime 0-0

bet on draw 10 DOGE x 3.72 = 37.2 DOGE (+27.2).
bet on not a draw 27 DOGE x 1.57 = 42.39 (+15.39).

scenario:
draw - I get profit 0.2 DOGE.
not a draw - I get profit 5.39 DOGE.

It's still a win-win.

For OP can you make this thread more friendly with a non English speaking member like me?
I still think that what I am done with my bet few minutes ago, is not what you mean.
CMIIW.
779  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟 Bitcoin To SBOBET Game Casino 🌟 By SBOBTC.COM on: September 03, 2020, 06:19:13 AM
sbobet is my first ever sportbetting website. I knew it from my friends during my college time.
I understand that you are only an agent who provides btc payment for sbobet deposit.
..

I've checked the website, and it's not working.

Also, OP Last Active is about 2 years ago. (May 24, 2018, 08:24:27 AM).
Maybe the site is already closed.

I suggest the moderator lock this thread because I saw some sportsbook agents trying to spam this thread.
