Economy / Goods / What would you give me (can be physical or digital) for 1 BTC?

I was just wondering what you might want to give me for 1 BTC? It can be something you post to me in the mail or something digital. Escrow will be used. I like books, old board games etc etc so nothing is too weird! I reserve the right not to accept any offers - but let's see what you've got

It's useless if you ask me.
First of all it looks childish, second, most people don't look at their bills and third there are just too many bills for this to have any effect whatsoever. But, since I do like "Guerilla-style" tactics, I would suggest something else: RL Stickers and banners.
1- Design banners with a catchy title and subtitle. Include a written address to weusecoins.com and a QR code.
2- Print print print!
3- Pin / hang / glue /stick them at your workplace, university, community center or wherever you want.
It takes little effort and has a great effect if you choose the right wording.
Nice underground marketing strategy!

Are you sure it's really him and not a stolen identity? I doubt a scammer would give you so many personal details if they were going to scam? If he's given you so many personal details maybe something has just happened? (i.e he is unwell or something). Has he been active on twitter recently? Maybe I am just naive... but if it is him and he is a total scammer he must be a total idiot as well.
He was very active on Facebook and all his friends interaction looked legit to me. Then go get him man. Call his work. Call / Facebook message his friends and family telling them he's a thief.

Scammers are often not the sharpest pencils in the box. Often they are drug addicts who go on a binge and disappear. Often they are convicted criminals who get incarcerated again and often they are legitimate borrowers who don't have the ability or don't want to repay a decide the easiest person to skip out on is the guy on the interner you never met face to face. But what bitcoin scammers ALWAYS underestimate is the lengths to which bitcoiners will go to track a scammer down and recover funds.
Well it won't be hard to track this guy down.

I think we should all try passing some banknotes with "bitcoin" written on it. What do you think? Do you like my idea. What if it became a popular trend?
Technically, that is "defacing money" and in many countries it's illegal - but what the hell I think it's a really cool idea No one would know that it was you doing it anyway

I would love to work for your organisation (if you are still looking?). I googled you but could not find too much information so I am guessing you still need a website and blog?
The parts of my skillset that I believe are relevant include:
- Web all rounder (web design / online marketing / social media / blogs / content writing) - Research and report writing (including copywriting) - I independently researched and wrote a 15 000 word thesis for my honors which I received a First Class for. - A passion for emerging technologies like cryptocurrencies and for having them leak into the "real world" through projects such as the Open Payment Alliance - A belief that cryptocurrencies will ultimately have social, cultural and financial effects of a similar scale to those which came about from the emergence of the Internet itself as a disruptive technology.
I could 20 hours a week or so for the next 6 months no problem. I could do this for 150 bitcoins per month.
I will send you a PM with much more information in a traditional job application letter format - I am really excited about the possibility of working with you.

- You need to write longer reviews for the websites otherwise they will never rank in google (and neither will your website) - You need to make the links clickable - You need to market the site more - You need a Facebook page that is visible on the home page - You need someone to do a marketing campaign and SEO optimisation campaign - You need alot of things to make it really awesome, but it is still a good start

Shades of the Linux trademark kerfuffle? There was no DMCA back in 1997, but there was a jackwagon who tried appropriating "Linux" as his own so he could extort fees from distributors. Ha ha ha the very nature of BTC makes it very hard to copyright. And how would you enforce a copyright? Sounds a bit like trying to enforce movie copyright to me As for the logo, I don't think using it would be a problem... As long as you make it clear you are not representing BTC but just using the public domain logo.

Everything around us was at some stage an idea that seemed ridiculous at first.
Personally, I'm fascinated to see how FRC goes (it certainly differentiates itself from the other coins).
I can simulate FRC for you. Give me x BTC and in a year (or whenever you want) I will give you some of them back (95% back for period of 1 year, prorated for shorter periods). Hell I won't even keep the 5%, I will just send the to the miners. +1 LOL this. Goes to show how flawed the concept of FRC is. I want in on this if you FRC fanboys truly believe in the concept of FRC. I wouldn't say I'm a fanboy - just interested to see how it pans out
