John and Mike, I've sent you both a pm about an issue I am having with one of your services without any reply. Can one of you please kindly get back to me about it?

Is there a calculator?
for?

My payouts went from ~11 pxc per block to 4.5 without a drop in my hashrate or a rise in the pools hashrate or accepted shares. I'm guessing this was around the time you changed the N shares, and it may have reset the total shares? Im back on, we'll see how the lower N value goes. May I inquire on what you set the value as?
|
|
|
Now my payouts dropped to half of what they were reported as. I may be back if you can fix your pool. This loses a lot of trust though.

Ok, The next block that was confirmed paid me 11 PXC. But, where are the payouts for the first hour that I started mining? I started mining around 07:09 then found a block at 07:13 and 07:39 but no payouts on those or blocks between? That doesn't make any sense.

whats going on here?? https://i.imgur.com/U1YKM4B.jpgI'm not getting any payouts on blocks I've worked on. I found two blocks in that image, nothing more than the .2 pxc.

I would love to see the block finder reward return.

Go to the "help" tab in any coin's wallet gui. Choose "debug window" and then click on the "console" tab. Type in "getmininginfo" without quotes. "networkhashps" is the total network hashrate for that coin.

Cheers, i'll give it a try. Is it just port 11082 i need to forward?
Each coin uses a unique port, keep that in mind if you change coins.

Bump
I think people are not interested to do work for this coin they just have concern with quick money. Come on people It's just an email. We need to show the community support for this coin. Yesterday I got an email from BTER saying that the poker site is very young and new and thus they can't add the coin. We need to make there inbox full of mails. So they could know how much this coin is worth. Sounds like getting PXC on BTER is more about success of the poker site than how many emails they get.

thanks for the support peeps
"geez guys, why didn't you give me your money?"

We need a clone coin section where people can post their garbage coins that way we can keep the alt coin section for stuff that is actually innovative.
i think were in it

1000 PXC for 15 LTC. TX ID: 51A44592-8626-D180-E183

only 650 blocks left till the next difficulty change.
It will go to 3.8 ... there are 44 mh on the network { "blocks" : 17494, "currentblocksize" : 0, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 3.98655352, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 43953579, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false } 3.8 sounds too high, its gotta be way lower. There is still 3 days 21 hours 49 minutes till difficulty change at this pace. target time is 2.5 min blocks at 2018 blocks (3.5 days). Were 2/3rds the way through with 4 days of mining left till the difficulty changes (assuming no change in networkhashps). I'm thinking under difficulty of 1 easily.

just worked it out with 20,000kh on pxc that would get nearly 100 blocks aday so i would get 50 pxc curent value 1ltc sever is good for 100,000kh+ so that is 5ltc a day that more than covers it
Do not count on the forum exchange prices to hold in a month when you need to make a server payment. There is no telling what the price will be in a month. Currently, there is not a large enough sample to determine the true price of PXC. Theres litterally only a few dozen people selling, and way less than that buying. It could likely be 50 PXC is .01 LTC and then you'll need 100x's the blocks to match your server costs. You speculation about costs should be pessimistic. Expect the worse, hope for the best. I'll say it again, you should reduce your server costs now. Upgrade the server when the extra space is needed. You're not going to have 100 MH jumping on the first day more than likely. The Hackshardgaming pool has been up since day 2 of PXC release, the most hash rate I've seen there is 10 MH. i would rather go for the biger server because i can always start a a difrent pool aswell on the same server and changing server meens downtime having 1% fees and a good sever would meen i should get a good amount of hashrate on the pool Hackshardgaming pool had a cool promotion where he did a giveaway to block finders of blocks with double, triple or quad digits. It still never pushed the pool's MH over 10. Promotions sound good, but miners are going to go where there's the least variance, and with PPLNS, that is with big pools. There are other payout methods, maybe go with one of them to set yourself apart from the current pool? A PPS pool opened yesterday, but I haven't checked back in on it since to see if it has picked up any miners. DGM, POT, and RBPPS pools do not exists for pxc and can be just as favorable for mining. The price of the server after 3 months sounds much more reasonable. I would attempt to get that price from the beginning if at all possible. The price difference is huge.
