doesn't look like its the right one...

Mine on multipool or cryptsy pools... they both have the correct chains, until you get all setup.
You may have to keep disconnecting and reconnecting, until you get the right one, or if it hangs while downloading the chain from the connections. (Deleting the peers file AFTER the client shuts-down. If you delete it before, it saves it when it does shut-down, defeating the purpose of deleting it.)
While I appreciate what you're saying, I'm not trying to mine CAPS. I'm just trying to get my wallet connected to the main blockchain so I can move coins in and out if I wanted to. I've been trying since an hour after 1.4.1 was released, i've reconnected and deleted the peers file dozens of times. I never have had any problems like this with any other coin.

Petrified's link requires 3rd party software to download the file...
Surely you can't miss the big blue button that says Download bottlecaps_76709_blocks.rar right in the center? The only reason for actually downloading MemoPal itself would be if you actually wanted to share your own files. Sorry for my misunderstanding. Clicking the blue button leads to a dead link (and had). The page after the link only says: "Array ( ) 2".

I've redownloaded the blockchain several times now (first downloaded an hour after it was posted) with various addnodes listed from today. My client is still hanging back about 7000 blocks. Nothing is changing, I get stuck on a bad chain everytime.
Downloading the copy of the chain posted by petrified earlier should get you on the right chain. Ill upload another soon You were most likely banned for "misbehaving" once 1,4,1 clients saw you on a bad chain. If you get on the right one and stay there for a while they should accept you again Please get the new link up soon. Petrified's link requires 3rd party software to download the file... And as for being banned, how did this happen? What sense does it make to ban someone with the wrong chain from the right one? How else am I supposed to get on the correct blockchain? Am I going to have to hope someone posts the current best chain and that it is correct?

P.S. Exchanges might want to halt delivery and acceptance for a while, until they figure out why the programs they are running, are isolating themselves from others on the network. You will be exchanging coins that are going to disappear soon.
Hard-coding blocks from those exchanges, on a network that is constantly isolating itself will NOT help.
Mining on the high diff chains will only work if you keep constant miners on there. Once they leave, the new miners will be connecting to the chain that is actually talking, the ones that you connect to without addnodes and the ones that are on the original addnodes listed on the front page.
Though, since the change, those four listed are not sending the block-chain to us, only telling us that they have a bigger block-height. Which is just useless if you want your chain to grow. It can't grow if you don't tell us what to build off of.
My personal wallet, the exchange, the block explorers don't seem to have an issue staying on the correct chain and the update is right around the corner. I have these peers connected and all at the right height: addnode= 192.241.222.16 addnode= 70.79.24.157 addnode= 70.98.114.237 This list of addnodes put me on the same chain as you, bottlecapspool, and cryptsy. Thank you. Everyone should note these are different than those posted in the OP. Probably whats causing the issue.

Minor setback on the 1.41 wallet update still intend to have it out there soon. The forks folks are seeing all appear to be from people connecting to peers on old wallets running old chains. Haven't seen the issues running the wallet on the correct peers with the upgraded wallet.
I'm using the 1.40 update with the nodes posted in the OP. My client is on a different block than bottlecapspool and the block explorers. I've redownloaded the blockchain, tried without the nodes, still get the same chain that is different from other services. Any idea on how to get my client back on the right chain?

I'm mining on pool2 to tryout the set difficulty. All my miners work at 64 but show 32 under "manage wokers". If I update the difficulty to anything else it just resets back to 32 and nothing changes on the workers. Am I missing something? using cgminer 2.11.3
Should be fixed now. works great, thanks!

I use 4 7950's and 1 7970. All undervolted and not overclocked. Tempting to pick up a couple 7990's now that AMD dropped the price massively!
Wow, $629 for a 7990! I had no idea the price had dropped so much. Just curious what settings you are using on your 7970? I have a buddy that bought 2 of the Sapphire Vapor-X cards, and we can't get them to run as fast as the 7950's. They sure are power hungry though. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131483Wow that is a lot cheaper, this card was 999 only a few months ago without any games, now it comes with 8. To think I almost bought this then. As for power usage, I've read it uses far less than two separate 7970s, however it will hash slightly slower (~100 khash). Also, this card is the older version of the newer line of 7990s. There are some newer versions: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=7990&N=-1&isNodeId=1

Will the coin audit function be returning? I liked having the ability to track my transaction IDs and past buys and sells in one quick view.

I am glad that this coin was able to get back on track so fast...
Now I just wish the POS coins would be more rewarding and less difficult to find/create...
Three days in to "available", and not one single POS block. Not sure what the deal was with the POS being 0 on that one guys find... You would think that at-least it would be the minimum value... 0% of 0 is 0... Hard to get 5% interest on 0, and 5% of 1 coin would have been 0.05 coins... 5% of one block of 10 coins would have been 0.5... Though it did say something about reward showing in the next block... I assume the next POS block, which seems like it might take months to find just one block! (But it says 0 staked coins, so I am still lost.)
Do I have to "not be mining" in order to "be minting"....
I realize that it was said, "you do not have to be mining to mint a POS block"... but was that actually translated into, "you CAN NOT be MINING to MINT a POS block"?
Because I really don't want to stop mining... but if not mining is what creates minted POS blocks... Then I will open up my wallet on a hundred computers and not mine on all of them... lol... That should give me 100 chances, right?
As far as I am aware, any POS award under 1 will be rounded to 0. POS must earn at least 1 coin to be awarded anything. So if you POS 10 coins you'll be minting 0.5, but that will round down to 0. If you did 100 you'll have 5. Can anyone confirm/correct this?

My debug file says something about CPU miner started for PoS and soon afterwards another block is found and then the error begins. Do I really need to re-download the blockchain? What's the thing about PoS starting?
I'm at a loss here....
EDIT:
OK...re-downloaded blockchain and still getting the error. Anyone know what's the deal with this?
Basically you get interest for staking your coins up to mine a block. 2% every 10 days. Since this is the 10th day from the coins launch this is likely why you are seeing the POS and checkpoint notification. We will probably get a client update soon enough which will fix the checkpoint error. So then...should I just ignore the error and continue mining? Apologies for my ignorance here, but I've never experienced this issue before with any coin client. yup, all will be good for now.

Does not connect to the pool. "No servers were found that could be used to get work".
post your mining .bat file contents. cgminer --scrypt --worksize 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-threads 2 --intensity 13 --gpu-fan 90 --gpu-engine 1075 --gpu-memclock 1250 --shaders 1024 -o http://75.156.208.65:8340 -u **** -p **** pause Work with this: stratum+tcp://75.156.208.65:3333 you're connecting to the wrong port. Replace "-o http://75.156.208.65:8340" with "-o http://75.156.208.65:8337" Work with this: stratum+tcp://75.156.208.65:3333 you're right, it is 3333 for the port now. But your cgminer .bat file has the 8340 port not the 3333. You will need to change that for it to connect when starting the miner.

1) You use a router anyways.
Yeah but it is already provided by the ISP... isn't it in your case? not always. usually isp's will rent you the modem and router while charging a monthly premium that will add up to 200% or more of the cost after a few months. Check your bill...go buy your own router and modem. You are likely not required to use their equipment.
