I've been following PXC since inception. This is the worst news yet...and there have been some serious fuck ups in the past.

Hi,
I just wanted to withdraw some coins from cryptsy (YAC to be precise) and every time I requested the withdrawal and confirmed it a red little window showed up in the lower left corner with an error message:
A security error has occured in your request. Reload page and try again.
Tried it several times, even logged out and in again.
Does anyone know what is going on ?
You'll find more help sending an email to support@cryptsy.com

you know what, i bet he was an early adopter of btc, until he got scammed of all his coins, then he just rage quit
At one point he does rant, quite bitterly, about people getting scammed for all of their bitcoins.

thats what i was told on cryptsy what theyre wallet said when they solo mined coins, If shekezula is willing to correct me then ill change it, but im sure ud all rather have ur coins when theyre definitly secure than being withdrawn when a block isnt confirmed and taking money that doesnt exist
I'm looking at freshly mined blocks in my wallet, 25 confirms is all it's taking. Technically you could do the same though right?

im just following what i have been told,
I dont see anyone saying 520 confirms is needed for hbn anywhere...
|
|
|
yeah it was set to 120 but i later found out the official confirm time is 520 so i set it back, otherwise it would be possible for users to withdraw coins the pool does not yet havee
Mined HBN are confirmed in 25 blocks. Not 120, or 520.....

are these the only two cards on the system?

I would definitely buy more on top of the rebate/discount offer if my original purchase qualified.

Having some issues when solo mining on windows 7 x64:
1. Out of six rigs, only four can connect to the QT at any time. Doesn't matter which four, there's always two that will not connect. cgminer says theres no pool available. A non working rig will start working the moment i shut down cgminer on a working rig.
2. When solo mining, rigs will disconnect randomly without reason and never reconnect. CGminer reports the pool does not exist although it had been mining on the pool and other rigs are still connected.
Normally when solo mining and switching coins I can just close and open the new coins wallet to switch my rigs. However I noticed with megacoin that these issues popped up without any obvious resolution. And since none of these issues exist with any other coins I have mined I thought maybe someone in here can help me figure it out.

with 4 7950 and voltage tweaking, I get ~ 2400 Kh/s / ~640 Watt at the wall.
How much wattage do you think 2 7970's would pull? any psu over 600watt should be fine as long as it has at least 45 amps on a single 12v rail.

Your premine is ridiculous compared to block rewards....
It's 0.16666666666666669% of total coins, but thank you so much for your uneducated comment Its still more than all the coins that will be mined in the first 9 months.

I brought it up to the pool admin (torzy) a few days ago that a user with 7-10 MH is not catching blocks for several days at 2.2 difficulty. This user would jump on when the difficulty dropped, and off when it goes back up. So they would only be mining for a few hours (4-5) a day. However, users with much smaller hashrates (<1 MH) are catching dozens more blocks than this one user. Torzy admits that the user has only caught 1 block in the past few days of mining. He claims it must just be "bad luck". My statistics training tells me that it is otherwise, an improbable outlier.
This latest update today changes the block finders name to "unknown". Are you kidding me? A few days ago I messaged you about my suspicions that a user is stealing work from the pool you then go and make it impossible to track.
Either you're completely incompetent or in on the scam for a few extra PXC. Miners be warned.

Also it's been impossible to withdraw Bitcoin...or any other coins for that matter I believe. That exchange is a joke.
I just withdrew several different coins for unrelated reasons to this post. It works fine for me.

I have negative experiences with Powercolor and more so with XFX. Powercolor is simply built very cheap, but gets similar hashes to other higher end brands but at higher temps. XFX was well built, but the cards would not over/undervolt which made overclocking very difficult.
My positive experiences have been with Sapphire, MSI, and Gigabyte. MSI and Sapphires are very nicely built with quality heatsinks and nice fast fans. For Sapphire, this goes even for the single fan models...amazing quality. Sapphire cards are nearly all voltage unlocked, some MSI cards may be voltage locked. Gigabyte has a very nice heatsink and fan system and get excellent hashes, but the cards are voltage locked.
IMO its worth the extra 20-30 bucks for a higher end card. They usually will overclock or cool better than the cheaper ones. You will sometimes get what you pay for when buying up. Do enough research for the specific brands you're interested in to find out if the one you choose is worth it.
