The problem with all good staking coins (and 8% is still relatively good) is that people are not smart enough to use staking wallets to earn coins. The level of computer skills of the general public is very poor, and cryptocurrency enthusiasts are a little better but often not much.
I have published over 8 books with ISBN #s on Amazon and other sites and I'm writing a book on staking wallets and coins. I have supported Inflation coin for about a year now and need to work other things besides crypto to get by. If you want to help me to focus on the book, here is my inflation coin wallet address: iPjLoiJSahjRkQA4JJMAdZGmvoGtptFNiE
Most of the book is finished so if I don't have to focus on other work I can get it published soon.
I disagree as the retention rate has proven to be very high and the usage method is also relatively simple, in more complex setups that may hold to be the case but it's shown to have found it's niche.

whats happens with thouse MAIN IFLT coins what are transfered to other chains, do they stake meanwhile and earn profits for changer or they will be offline.
It depends on the gateway manager and where the coins are held in reserve for users that wish to switch back to the main network. There can be multiple gateways to manage one asset such as on the Stellar Lumens network for example. A gateway manager would have to keep a large amount of coins on reserve to keep the exchange solvent. In this model the core asset functions more like a scarce commodity compared to it's current operations. It's also possible to make a custodial twitter/telegram/reddit bot that users can interact with to shift coins between different blockchains at more efficient speeds.

Did already the PoS interest switched to 8%? as I know first block was mined on November 7, so 2 years didn't passed already, or was the block mined faster than expected?
seems like decreased. I thought it will be end of november, but im still content. it better that less coins will be minted As shown on the front page banner and calculated from the source code, Block 1180800 was when the 8% PoS mining subsidy period begins (currently Block 1184061). I'll update the banner and also more updates will be coming later today. Great hard work, Dev! I had a question: does the POS function for IFLT tokens on other platforms remain or is it only an advantage of the main blockchain? To make things simpler staking interest is only available on the main original network, while the other tokens function as crypto tethers for expanded infrastructure and additional development options. Stellar, Ripple, and EOS also offer free high speed transactions for any of their digital assets given that some amount of their native currency is staked on an account. This framework is based on the current technical state though and could change in the future as more major blockchains update and are released.

maybe if had some kind of marketing, maybe price would bounce really high. try to list on some exchanges, like hitbtc for example or cryptobridge.
I agree, maybe Darkstar needs to build up a Team (maybe some devs to help him with development, some Marketing people, community manager/s, etc..) working alone is hard to make the difference. I remember ECA when they first started, there was only one dev, but with time they picked up some more people in and made a successful project. The bigger the team is the more value ads to the project, because everyone brings new ideas, everyone have some connections here and there, everyone is good at something, even a fanatic supporter can help a project doing nothing than yelling here and there about the project. Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you tired of centralized cryptocurrency trading platforms?
|
on: October 09, 2018, 02:58:55 PM

Most crypto traders make use of centralized trading platforms, like Binance, Bitmex, Poloniex, Bittrex etc… The hype around these platforms made it appear to most guys in the cryptospace as the only available option, very small percentage of the crypto traders population have an idea on how decentralized trading platforms works.
Obviously centralized trading platforms are easy to use and all that! , but that’s not the best the technology can offer, I believe the future lies in decentralization, with that we can achieve “maximum” security. Personally i trade on a decentralized platform, because i got tired of the issues surrounding the centralized systems.
Even from developing a startup network on InflationCoin (IFLT) we are largely aware of this issue, as smaller exchanges have been habitually contacting us to collect significant listing fees then putting no effort into the platform or worse disabling the site and stealing user funds, so we've been putting more time into getting decentralized exchange listings established through bridges on the Ethereum and Stellar lumens networks. We're also currently looking to have a dex listing and bridge established on the EOS platform as the DApp user activity growth currently looks promising.
