81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 29, 2023, 08:24:06 PM
Streamers are nothing else but players just like you but with the exception that they have many followers on social medias and specifically on their streaming platforms. As I said they are gamblers just like me and you but they will never share their losses. They will only share with you some exceptional moments when they make big wins. What's more interesting is that most of what they share with you is not true and it's all been faked. They are being paid to show you those exceptional moments and in reality they never lose anything.

But what about if the Streamer is someone who usually gambles on live, instead just uploading cut part of their gambling sessions?
There is a reason why it is more exciting for people in general to see gambling streamers in platforms like Twitch or similar, it is because they assume it is less likely whatever they are watching is fabricated or scripted and the person gambling is not faking their emotions. Though, in reality we all know that there are still ways for streamers to partake in apparent gambling but without having to put their own money at stake, as many people have mentioned in this thread.

Perhaps you are a person who rather to follow the highlights of streamers, instead watching their whole hours-long show. Nothing wrong about it, of course.
It's hard not to assume that some or even most of these streams are not fabricated especially if the streamers are sponsored by these casinos. They start with an unusual amount of bankroll which they'll play continuously, most of what I've watched are slots, and they'll start slowly and later on hit a massive jackpot which they'll show on their highlights. Also, it's hard to comprehend that they mostly hit jackpots every gambling sessions and almost always to be on a positive profit even with just playing slots.

But, yeah, there are some gambler streamers out there that I enjoy watching and I do believe that they are playing with real odds, same as others, and playing partly with their money and sponsored funds from the casino.
82  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ginagamit nyo pa ba Ledger wallet nyo? on: October 29, 2023, 06:32:09 PM

With this knowledge.
If may recommendation kayo please do.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $50,000 betting goal by 2024. Share Your Thoughts With Me. on: October 29, 2023, 04:19:43 PM
What are your thoughts on these strategies to assist me in achieving my $50,000 betting goal by 2024?
I guess with how your specified your plan on how you'll be achieving your goal, it's already enough as long as you'll be able to follow through with your plan. Planning is actually the easiest part however following and sticking with it is what makes it hard. With your plan, basically it's just about researching and strategizing before betting to make limit loses and maximize profit.

As for your goal, you may or may not be able to achieve it depending on how often you bet and especially with how much your bankroll will be as the lower the bankroll the harder it is to achieve your goal.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 29, 2023, 02:49:46 PM
Most of the grown up people do not live with parents. At such, the parents are not aware about the interests and habits of individuals. Do you parents know that you gamble ? What was their first reaction towards your gambling habit ?
My parents live with me and they have no idea about my extra activities aside from work and I think they don't need to know it since I'm already capable of making my own decision and I'm the decision maker in the family, which I believe being a responsible is more important. Many are too open with their parents and that's ok because at least you have someone to lean on if something bad happen to you though many are afraid to open this because they might experience discrimination even from their own family and that's why many chose not to share it.
It really isn't necessary for us to tell people about our gambling habits or activities even with friends or family. I, too, live along with my parents and I have never told them my gambling activities online but I'm sure they're aware that I'm gambling as I casually visit local casino malls. Its not really about being discriminated by my family or friends but rather it's something that isn't necessary to talk about unless you've hit jackpots.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not a casual fan but want to participate in sportsbetting on: October 28, 2023, 11:33:22 PM
I wouldn't want to just keep following based on the odds. seemingly as a bettor, it requires ramping up on lots of updates and knowledge of the sport and how the team players are doing. how am i to do it?
Being a casual NBA fan should be enough knowledge for you to fully understand the game or sport however when gambling you must also include the status of each player and team that will be playing or you'll be betting on.

For me, there are various websites out there that provides news update that I rely on to check the teams that will be playing before I decide whether to bet or not. Usually with enough research you'll find that the team that you'll be leaning on winning has already been decided by odds. Those odds are there to balance out each team whether whose on the advantageous side or not. So basically, if you want to bet on the game without doing any research on the players or the teams, you can just follow through with what the odds are.
86  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coinsph nawalan ng xrp , Mag-ingat on: October 28, 2023, 10:31:23 PM

Ang galing no? Sure naman na ininda nila yun kaso siguro pikit mata nalang sila dahil wala naman kilalang tao ang naapektuhan at ilang araw lang ay back to operation sila.

Sure naman marami pa ring nagtitiwala sa coins.ph dahil legitimate business at corporation sila pero to avoid inconvenience iiwasan ko sila na iconsider na gawin wallet or iwanan ng coins sa account. Isa pa rin ako sa nagtitiwala kahit papaano sa kanila at patuloy pa rin sa paggamit ng services nila dahil tulad nga ng incidenteng ito, after 1-2 days back to operation agad sila at nag-maintenance na possibleng naghigpit sila sa security.
87  Economy / Gambling / Re: 👑 CoinRoyale.com - Original Bitcoin Casino | Trusted Since 2013 ✔️ on: October 28, 2023, 09:29:24 PM

Regarding e-sports, it is not famous and not so much enthusiasts to gamble, but if added it is possible it will be much better for gamblers who like e-sports, maybe RPG games or MOBA games can be the best option.
I respect your statement but i guess e-sports is one of the booming now in the industry a lot of teams and sponsored partners already formed just to participate in this also they have the largest price pool in the tournament, for example, the international of Dota 2, ESL event in CSGO and etc.
I guess E-sports has been booming for quite a while now but I don't think that e-sports are that much known on the gambling industry as most gamblers are much more interested betting on sports instead.
This could also be a good suggestion for active users and the community considering that football is still the most popular sporting event among people around the world in various competitions. However, if it is considered as additional entertainment, it is also quite good for the activeness of the ANN thread, but I think your suggestion is also quite interesting in order to make more people active because of the event.
Let's wait for the management of CoinRoyale and Icopress too if they will push through this proposal of their thread in the gambling discussion with the football, event its good too because they can just make an update right here if they will adopt the other sports or even the e-sports in their sportsbook feature.

Hopefully the management will push through with the football prediction event and hoping they provide more rewards apart from free bets which could attract more potential gamblers. I guess, icopress is just waiting for a go signal for this event.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a record of winnings and losses in gambling? on: October 28, 2023, 08:26:33 PM
I used to do it, but not anymore because I sometimes forget to track a couple of bets until they stack up to a hundred. It was helpful at the start so I could keep myself under control after a few losses and then I got a bit lazy as my betting went on through the year.

If you lose your bankroll too quickly and gamble again the next day, it might feel like a chore and even a waste of time because gamblers don't always look back at the mistakes they've made from their previous bets.
Apart from doing it can became a hassle, I don't really find very useful as most platform have an option to view your betting history and even your statistics whether your on a positive or negative profit.

I understand that keeping a record can help you track your gambling status which might assist you on controlling your gambling activities but still it can also make you chase loses if you notice that you're somehow winning and recovering your loses.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you use your free bets to ensure result on: October 28, 2023, 08:08:32 PM

We're given free bets after signing up to an operator when making a minimum deposit, we claim bonuses with it. I don't normally try claiming bonuses for I know the wagering requirement but I'm trying it this time.

If you are to use them to your advantage and turn it into coins how do you do it? Besides betting on both sides it sure is but you know the math of it.
Usually with these free bets, it's really hard to turn them into coins as there are certain wager requirements that needed to be done for you to turn them into coins. You can mostly use them to try out games on the platform and as most of these free bets are for some roulette or slots games.
But there are times where you'll be able to earn certain amount with the given bets on slots and be able to use them on your other bets or even withdraw them but again it rarely happens not only because of how the games are but rather with the requirements as well to use those winnings. Never expect casinos to give away free stuffs easily unless you spend too much with them.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think if you have a lot of money its hard to satisfy your ego in gambling on: October 28, 2023, 06:00:44 PM
What do you think, if I have millions I will be satisfied betting thousands of dollars for fear of addiction that will lead to losing my fortune, but I really don't know if I will reach that level of having millions and still be moderate in gambling.

That's why I prefer to be poor... so I never have to worry about making a big bet on gambling and losing a fortune in a short time Roll Eyes

But, I agree with you... I believe that the more money a person has, the bigger their bets are, and it doesn't matter whether the bettor is lucky or unlucky. The value in gambling is equivalent to spending on anything else: the more you have, the more you spend. I myself would like to have more money to spend each month on gambling, as the money usually runs out well before the month is over, but the desire to play is not there yet.
No one really prefers to be poor  Grin . Who in their right mind that has a choice to be poor or not, will chose to be poor? I would rather be betting larger amount than smaller ones if I do have a choice and it's also about how you manage your bankroll whether you'd lose your fortune or not. I can be poor or rich and continue gambling but be broke afterwards due to poor management of your gambling habits and funds.

Your desire to gamble usually varies depending on the reason as to why your gambling. If you're gambling to be rich, then you might lose your desire to gambling if your already rich. But if you're gambling to earn more money or just to have fun and support the sports team you're bias on, then you're desire to play and gamble will always be there whether you're rich or not.
91  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Which bull run experience is the best for you? on: October 28, 2023, 03:53:46 PM

Pero for me, goods pa rin naman kasi charge to experience at may mga nabili naman akong gamit that time kahit papaano.
92  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Nag Rug Pull Na Nang Inis Pa, Dev Abandon NFT games on: October 28, 2023, 02:26:58 PM

93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe do you feel with casinos that ask you to input your log detail. on: October 27, 2023, 09:06:18 PM
Are you positive or negative on casinos asking for log-in frequently or do you feel unsafe in putting your login details every time?
Barely encounter this kind of situation but on some occasions, I don't really mind it as long as you're logging in on the correct website then there shouldn't be any issue as they already have credentials on their system.

Also, this usually happens when someone has a VPN or constantly changing or hiding their IP address whereas casinos or even other platform will automatically log you out of your session. This happened to me once until I turn off my VPN and it keep my gambling session active until I log it out.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think if you have a lot of money its hard to satisfy your ego in gambling on: October 27, 2023, 06:33:40 PM
What do you think, if I have millions I will be satisfied betting thousands of dollars for fear of addiction that will lead to losing my fortune, but I really don't know if I will reach that level of having millions and still be moderate in gambling.
Surely, if you have millions and you're still continuing on your gambling activities then I doubt that you'll be gambling which your previous bankroll rather your bankroll will also go up depending on how much you already have.

Also, for highrollers, it isn't much about their ego but rather the amount that they gambling varies on their available funds they can gamble and if they a billionaires, they won't really mind losing hundred of thousands as those might be significant to us but not to them and they can earn those on their businesses. Just like what has been previously mentioned, it more on the ratio and proportionality of your funds to your bet amount. If you have 10,000$ right now, you wouldn't mind much losing more than 100$ and the same concept goes for a million or a billion.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question for those who loose too frequently in gambling on: October 27, 2023, 04:31:45 PM
I have often wondered about the people who have lost a lot in gambling and who almost loose in every gambling activity they participate. What is their reason or motivation to continue even after so many losses?
I mostly lose to every gambling session I play on right now as I mostly play dice or slots currently and I already expect it to happen. Even though I know my luck isn't great I still continue to play and gamble in hopes of hitting a high winning streak and be able to cash out big just like I've already experienced before. Also, apart from the winnings, I tend to socialize and enjoy each of my session with the gambling friends I've already have on chat which kept me from coming back everytime.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learning from those who have experience on: October 27, 2023, 10:36:41 AM
Yes, they can return to gambling again even though they have tried to get gambling treatment. That is normal because he will not always be able to control himself, especially since he has just started healing. The important thing is that he knows what to do because he knows the preventive measures if he starts having the same problems. What is done during the healing process can help him not to be tempted by anything in gambling so that by continuing to learn to cure his gambling addiction, he will be able to recover from his gambling addiction.
I prayed none of my colleagues get addicted because it's the worst thing that can happen to any gambler in the system. We do anything to win, survive is winning, that's the major points to understand. There are numerous sectors in gambling but sticking to a particular one will do some great help. Gambling is unpredictable, the worst happens and we also hoped for better results in every single game we place wager on. Applying preventive measures will do serve important purposes in our daily lives. Experience is important to be obtained in the space, we have good paths that sets us out to be cautious when dealing with the system.
Being in a situation where you lose control of your gambling activities and be addicted is the worst thing you could experience thru gambling though it might be common but some are worst than others which I don't want people I know of to experience.
Preventive measure are good to avoid going back to the addiction however sticking and commiting to it is what gamblers needs to do which is quite hard. I've personally had multiple plans back then but I barely follow through it which almost had me broke. The only thing that made me a responsible gambler is when I lost my interest to gambling (I still want to gamble but not the same as I was before) due to losing a significant amount that could've change my life. Honestly, it's hard to overcome gambling addiction until you experienced a bad turn.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: October 26, 2023, 05:02:11 PM
Same in our country, Gambling is not considered as an illegal activity however there are some casino companies that are illegal, they are the ones who don't pay the proper taxes and illegal activities such as human trafficking, selling drugs and prostitution are involved not just the gambling itself... Gambling could be seen as morally acceptable if it helps us to develop positive character traits such as self control and discipline. Those People who see gambling as an illicit activity are the one who always look on it's disadvantages. Even the bible doesn't called gambling as a sin
Well technically gambling is an illicist activity especially to countries wherein it is not legal. But given the fact that there are places wherein it is allowe, separates it from drug traffickingand other alike activities. The bible indeed does not mentioned about it but as we all know it would fall under quick way scheme to earn, which is where people associate it with. However, that would be a different thing to discuss given that drug trafficking and other activities which are not morally accepted, are also not. This matter has something to do with separation of church and state wherein gambling is often regarded as illicit simply because it doesn’t comply with government rules. But there are still those which does such as lottery and other casino establishments which quite making it an exception to some places than the reall illegal ones.
Gambling is not technically an illicit activity but rather it depends from your country's perspective whether they allow them or not. If they don't, then it is an illicit activity but if they do, then it isn't. Also, gambling isn't specifically noted or mentioned on Bible but rather described it's definition as someone who risks what they have in exchange of something much better or more worth. It can be seen as a bad moral decision to do so which is why gambling is somehow associated with evil deeds due to how people are exposed of their greed.

But yeah, it varies depending who edit that Wikipedia description on how they interpret gambling is as it can also be used in a bad way even if you're on a country who allow gambling activities.
98  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Kung focus sa growth ng company or project dapat ganun din sa security on: October 26, 2023, 03:32:16 PM
Siguro kung ang company or corporation ay bago palang most likely basic security lang ang meron sila in the mean time until tumagal at lumago yung market nila.

For me, when it comes sa cybersecurity, lahat nage-evolve lalo na sa hacking incidents at cyber attacks kaya need updated lagi.

Ika-nga "Nothing's in the internet is 100% secured".

Apart from that, wala na akong nakitang iba nag-bitcointalk dahil yung iba more on trading talaga.

100  Local / Pilipinas / Re: When do you think is the next bull run will start, and why? on: October 26, 2023, 10:04:05 AM
