How are you supposed to install it. It's not in the default repositories supported by MeeCatalog and trying to install the deb file fails with some unresolved python dependencies I couldn't apt-get.

It s in my Meego Repository, will be in app store soon (they need 2 or 3 weeks to validate an apps)
Unfortunatly noone maintain apps.formeego so will probably never been accepted even in testing

What are the missing dependencies you got when installing it from .deb ?

Oh i ve never use MeeCatalog Smiley
Add this line to your catalog lists:

deb http://repo.pub.meego.com/home:/khertan/Harmattan/ ./

A way to install it in terminal :

devel-su
killall  pkgmgrd && killall pkgmgrd
echo "deb http://repo.pub.meego.com/home:/khertan/Harmattan/ ./" |  tee "/etc/apt/sources.list.d/khertan.list"
apt-get update ; apt-get install bitpurse

182  Local / Discussions générales et utilisation du Bitcoin / BitPurse 1.5 pour MeeGo Harmattan Disponible on: March 05, 2013, 07:38:51 PM
Bonjour,

Quelques capture d'ecran :

Release 1.5 is now available

As many ask for it, it didn't depends anymore on BlockChain MyWallet Service, and keep your private key secure on your device.

http://www.altera.com/products/devkits/altera/kit-max-v.html

As tu deja programmer ?
Des competences avec des fpgas ?

A (probably) final update on my experiences with the DE0-Nano, in case anyone out there is interested.

Using Makomk's code (from his github rather than the fpgaminer code), plus some modifications of my own to pack 22 of the sha256_digester's onto the EP4CE22, I've got a single core generating a full bitcoin hash every 6 clock cycles. I've been running this at 140MHz for a couple of days now which I reckon is 23.3MH/s (it averages 20 shares per hour which I reckon is about right, though if anyone wants to correct me on this then please feel free to do so). Its drawing 1.35 amps from an external 3.3V PSU, and the onboard regulators get pretty hot (I'm fan cooling the board). Not that I'd recommend this to anyone as its really pushing the envelope on the DE0-Nano board and may well fry it eventually.

This is probably as far as I'm going to go with this as to clock it any faster will need modifications to the power supply (as Makmok has documented on his web site) since the onboard regulators are only rated at 1.5A (and that's pretty optimistic as they need some serious additional cooling to get anywhere near that).

I'm running a pair of these boards on btcguild which claims to be earning me 0.00659245 BTC per day, not a lot I know, and probably barely covering my power costs (two times 4.5 Watts, plus another say 2 Watts for the raspberry pi host, plus whatever the mains PSU's are dissipating in heat), but I may as well have the boards do something vaguely useful while I think of something else to use them for, and its "free" bitcoins anyway (even if I am just converting joules into coins). I wonder what I can spend them on?

Many thanks to all who have contributed to this project, as its kept me well entertained for the last few months (I saw a quote somewhere saying you can lose 3 months of your life to FPGA's, so it seems like an appropriate point to bow out).

Regards
Mark

I'm interested, indeed. Did you share somewhere your modifications ?
I'm currently trying to optimizing things (virtually, didn't have device yet).

Yes i know useless, that s most for fun as i bought a de0-nano for testing something else but once tested, i ll playing to try to run a miner on it ...

Hello ... hum ... Salutations ...

190  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] BitPurse : A nice looking Blockchain.info Bitcoin Wallet Client for n9 on: December 28, 2012, 09:29:06 PM
It s already running on NemoMobile, and should run on Jolla too as Jolla/Sailfish will use Qt and will provide Harmattan Qt Quick Components.
Where did you hear the rumors ?

Quote
The only downside is that it is dependant of the blockchain.info... I would prefer electrum model instead.
Electrum do not differ too much from blockchain.info : the api is similar, but the wallet is storing locally on electrum while in the cloud in blockchain.

It's a point of view, i prefer to not store wallet on the device Wink
But i ve planned to add an optionnal storing/import feature for wallet and so do not use blockchain.info MyWallet.

Thanks for your comment

Hi,

I've just released a new apps for Harmattan and NemoMobile: BitPurse. A nice looking Blockchain.info Bitcoin Wallet Client for MeeGo, SailfishOS, NemoMobile, and Harmattan.

It s currently in beta stage, and you can find it on GitHub and report bug on the GitHub BugTracker

You can find more informations about it on : http://khertan.net/BitPurse

If you are paranoid, the binary from the MeeGo Community OBS is compiled from source by the OBS, so you can check the code, which is the same than the one available in the git repository, packaged in a tar.gz with python setup.py sdist or you can build a package for n9 from source using python make.py (after installing pypackager python module which is also available in my repository)

Comments/Suggestions/Remarks are welcome

Odd.  Why partially blur out bitcoin addresses, but leave enough information to identify them?  What does that accomplish?
Good point.

As i use the same screenshot that the one i m using for Nokia Store a little explanation :
The purpose of blurring them is to pass Nokia QA tests which claim frequently that private information are in screenshots and so prevent publishing. But as that address are the one i use to receive donations, they are anyway public Smiley

Whitelisted to post at main part of the forum. (Hint: try Project Dev./Service announcement)
Welcome! Cheesy

Thanks a lot.
