1161  Other / Meta / Re: Why People are getting Banned for using Security Question as Recovery Method?? on: March 05, 2017, 08:39:09 AM
The forum was hacked in mid 2015 that resulted in some information being leaked which included everyone's answer to their security question (those that had one) in a way so that little work was needed to decrypt the information into plaintext. As a security precaution theymos setup the forum so that accounts would get banned if someone successfully answered their secret question.

The obvious solution is to outright disable resetting of passwords via security question, especially now that it is well known that this will happen, so hackers are unlikely to even try to hack accounts this way, while the end user is frequently affected.
If this is the reason then why admins are taking 2-3 months to resolve someone's issue if they have valid proof of ownership and if they had thousands of pending case due to this then they should find a solution to the problem.

1164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have found a wallet with 40 BTC on: February 26, 2017, 05:51:01 AM
Yes, it is possible to find a wallet with money in real life and it is also possible in the digital world. The funds belong to someone and the last transaction record was 2011 which means that the owner either forget the password to the wallet or he is saving money for his future or it is also possible that is already rich. Actually, in 2011 the bitcoin reached its highest value and most of the users converted them into real money. Hence, the theory of forgetting password is looked much more real and if that's the case the one who found the key can use that money after making some great efforts to find the owner of the money.

1172  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many times have you've been scammed? on: January 24, 2017, 10:55:46 AM
Scammed on freelancer.com for $50 as I asked him to make a Script which supports blockchain Wallet API keys and he asked me to pay all money in advance, seeing his one good feedback I sent all at once and he sent me the script in a password protected RAR file. And the password he provided was false and when I was able to get the password using online brute force I found that there is nothing which worth $50. Only copied content from another Website was there. After that Incidence, I learnt how much Important the escrow service is and from there.

1176  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think people is interested in bitcoin if they know it's profitable? on: November 28, 2016, 01:33:42 PM
The Rise in Bitcoin value makes me sick, a friend asked me to buy some bitcoin when it was nearly around 190$ something but that time it was decreasing so i rejected his offer and also advised him not to involve in this as it is used by criminal and you could be victim of bitcoin theft as there are many site which have to shut down due to theft so, basically the only reason that stops me to involve in all the trading work is the thefts that are increasing day by day people are robbed here and there and cops are clueless how to overcome this problem as it is very difficult to track transaction over the internet and find the culprit. I can invest my money in a business which is not secure. i know it is growing and proved it's profitability over the time.

I voted no and i'm pretty happy about that as i am in majority with 67% people. Smoking causes cancer and should be banned from all countries.
People are aware about it but neglects the side effects of smoking and thinks that it makes them look cool but seriously in my opinion its not the way people thinks.
1180  Other / Off-topic / Re: Comedy Movies. on: September 27, 2016, 12:46:35 PM
Try Movies of Jim Carrey.
James Eugene "Jim" Carrey (born January 17, 1962) is a Canadian American actor, comedian, impressionist, screenwriter, and producer. He is known for his highly energetic slapstick performances.

Carrey first gained recognition in 1990 after landing a recurring role in the sketch comedy television series In Living Color. His first leading roles in major productions came with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), Dumb and Dumber (1994), The Mask (1994), and Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995), as well as a supporting role in Batman Forever (1995) and a lead role in Liar Liar (1997). He then starred in The Truman Show (1998) and Man on the Moon (1999), with each garnering him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor.

In the 2000s, he gained further recognition for his portrayal of the Grinch in How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), as well as Bruce Almighty (2003), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) for which he was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), Fun with Dick and Jane (2005), Yes Man (2008), Horton Hears a Who! (2008) and A Christmas Carol (2009).

In the 2010s, he has starred in Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011) and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013). In 2013, he appeared in Kick-Ass 2 as Colonel Stars and Stripes. Controversially, he retracted support for the film two months prior to its release. He issued a statement via his Twitter account that, in light of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary, "[N]ow in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence. Carrey reprised his role as Lloyd Christmas in Dumb and Dumber To (2014)
