Reboot your machine. I get this on my HDTV once I change my clocks from the default. If it still persists, then somehow the clock speed is "locked" with your driver settings. I don't know where this setting is, but found fully uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and using driver sweeper in between will get rid of the "bad" clock speeds.

Btw this happens to me on a radeon 5870
Thank you.
I forgot to update this thread, but I already solved this problem. It is a 7970 thing I believe. I just had to do /xcl in the properties of the shortcut and reboot my system. Currently doing 1135MHz on stock clocks, won't be downclocking memory because this is mostly a gaming rig Cheesy

Update: I am getting this also when I am scrolling on a webpage with no overclock. If I try to run kombustor my drivers crash then recover. Any help?
7  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 7970 OC Help on: January 10, 2013, 12:42:30 AM
Hello! I decided to OC my PowerColor 7970 Ref beyond the 1125 max of afterburner. So I unlocked it and set it all up. When I went to overclock it, I immediately set it back to 1125. Before I even got to running kombustor I had artifacts. not even like lines on the screen. It literally looked like there was a mini earthquake in my monitor. After more testing, I realized any change does it, even lowering the clock. This never happened before I unlocked it. Also there is coil whine which I never experienced before.

I did a little work last night, but I am going away this weekend. I will try to get as much done today as possible, but I might not get a release. During the next couple of weeks I will post videos and pictures frequently. Additionally, once I have a release working, I can update quickly.

Wow, big blurry pics.

My advice, avoid getting your hands wet when tired.  Smiley
Fixd the size of the pics. What do you mean don't get my hands wet when tired?

11  Economy / Lending / Re: Loaning out BTC at www.lendmecoin.com on: January 03, 2013, 10:24:50 PM
Please add in a way to cancel a loan. I accidentally just loaned someone 5 BTC. I don't have that much.
Also I think you should have a confirmation to say "Are you sure you want to lend x BTC to whomever"

Hey Here is my new gaming PC that became a mining rig almost immediately.

It contains:
Radeon HD 7970 Core 1125
Intel 3770k OC'd to 4.5GHZ
16GB Vengance LP OC'd to 1600MHZ
1TB WD Caviar Black
800W PSU
NZXT Switch 810 with 6 Fans
I get 650-680Mh/s
Mining when I have the computer on, not 24/7

I have a question about what hash rate I am getting.

https://i.imgur.com/XHViv.png

Does this mean I am getting 1375Mh/s or 677.9Mh/s? Thanks in advance.
Your GPU's memory is set to 1375 MHz. Your hashrate is the ~675 MH/s.
Okay thanks

Tackling a bug, but can give you a screenshot of what I have. I also have a system that I can get all of the information about the items, just have to figure out why I still can't change the page that I am looking at...

17  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: eBay Product Scanner on: January 01, 2013, 10:16:28 PM
Why stop short of a truely awesome ass app? I'd be willing to purchase an app the hunts sellers accepting coin for any item. I know for a fact plenty of auctions exist that allow for coin transactions. But individuals seem to word they accept coin in a multitude of ways.

Hmmm. Well I will add it to the to do list, but at the moment I am trying to get changing pages working. It is simple, but I need to redo a whole section of code. After that I will make the viewing/buying page and then try to figure out how to do that.

Hello!
I am now working on a simple application that will scan eBay for products that can be used to mine bitcoins. In the first release will likely only include searching, but not buying. I am very open to criticism and ideas, and will be posting video and picture updates frequently.

Todo List:

 Grin = done
 Angry = not done
 Wink  = in planning
 Cheesy = working on it

  • Make page to select price, condition, search term etc.  Cheesy
  • Make Page to choose product   Cheesy
  • Make Page to view product  Wink
  • Make Page to Buy Product  Angry
  • Add is support for buying with BTC  Huh Not even thinking about it yet
  • Get Criticism/Ideas  Cheesy

Updates:
1/1/2013
Don't expect a release until next week

Pictures!
