2741  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Open Hardware Project] Hive & Wasp - Prototypes Coming in December 2013 on: December 15, 2013, 03:38:05 AM
The Zoho Project area is now closed to unpaid members. We will open up membership payments in the coming weeks.

Thank-you for all the interest we will continue to update here and we should have a website, mining pool and working Wasp prototype ready before Christmas.
2742  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [The Wasp] 28nm ASIC Miner Open Hardware Development Project on: December 14, 2013, 03:15:26 PM
We Should have a few great updates coming in the next few weeks. Before the end of the year! 2014 will be the year of the Wasp  Grin

We wish you a merry hashmas?

Sliding into horror?
2744  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Blue Fury Miners V2 2.6Gh/s on: December 14, 2013, 03:07:52 PM
This is what happens when you mislead, lie and cheat your customers. You failed to deliver on your promises and your customers suffered a loss.

As far as I am concerned, BPM (insert name of people you purchased from) have stolen 0.8btc from me.

FTFY

Keep talking to them I am sure they will do whatever they can to rectify the situation.
2745  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bfl sent me a defective jalepeno and isn't responding on: December 14, 2013, 12:24:32 PM
Verdict?
2746  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Blue Fury Miners V2 2.6Gh/s on: December 14, 2013, 10:00:54 AM
Chances of refund should be high imo.

Word of warning to anyone buying from BPM - just don't. Delays in shipping, delays in replacements, product fell short of advertised speeds. When questioned on this, the reply is "oh our prototype chips must have been a better grade and we got lucky".

pfff

Beastly - you still owe me one Bluefury.

There is no "BPM". Let us just clarify that. Beastly has not been able like the rest of us to change our avatars.
2747  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Open Hardware Project] Hive & Wasp - Prototypes Coming in December 2013 on: December 13, 2013, 05:32:25 PM
I just want dibs on the finished ready-to-mine product, if the price looks better than anything else out there.

Fabricators might be the people to ask for dibs.  Grin

2749  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Open Hardware Project] Hive & Wasp - Prototypes Coming in December 2013 on: December 13, 2013, 09:01:54 AM
I saw a mention of BA and I hope that's not alluding to using BlackArrow for ANYTHING to do with this project.  If you want to know why I'm sure bobsag has some stories to share.

Also, what exactly does this $100 membership get you?  Any why doesn't your website you advertised work?

Free lurking till Dec 15th. Get in and check out what $100 gets you there.

As for the BA fabrication. We have prototypes being done close the EE's not in China. And full production of units would be something that DIY builders or others could take on themselves. This is an open source hardware project so anyone can build but we retain some IP aspects so that licenses will be required to get FULL hash out of our units. You can learn how we handle that in our files on the project page. Feel free to review them when you are lurking. Access an email address away. Just PM gamers gamersglory to get Project access.
2750  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [The Wasp Project Collective] BTC/LTC USB Miner Project Development Thread on: December 13, 2013, 08:57:08 AM
Be really good if the potential EE looks at the specs and gives a thought to whether this is all pie in the sky with this chip or not. Be worth all the time in the world as long as there are chips and the specs are reasonably available and in sufficient specificity that you can build these Wasps. This will follow on obviously from our current prototypes so it is not like starting from scratch on this.
2751  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [The Wasp Project Collective] BTC/LTC USB Miner Project Development Thread on: December 13, 2013, 08:46:45 AM
Uh, definitely watching.  If you need any project management help give me a shout but I'm sure you've got that covered at this point.
On the contrary, we want all the people the projects can handle (notice how I stated that in the inverse of what you would expect, that's JuSt hOw wE RoLL.)  Grin

Pm PM Bicknellski and ask him to LET YOU IN!!

More than happy to add people before the 15th. After that we have to close the door on lurking and it will paid members only.

2752  Other / Archival / Re: PAPA ASIC NEED FUNDING PLEASE PARTICIPATE on: December 12, 2013, 02:06:26 PM
Email is available next to my name click the link. I am not an EE so I would have to share all the info with our EE's and if they have time then can give me an idea about time frames etc.

Not that we have plans to do the design I was merely telling the person questioning your ability to have a working miner. If we have the time and there are samples as well as chip specs then our EE's could make Papa Wasps. Redesign of our finished prototype in the BitFury Wasp in December or January means we might not have time for this if the A1 and Minion are still on schedule.

I need your gmail account as files are uploaded on google drive.
thanks

LIke I said email is there. Just click.

And... scam lives on.
2756  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Monarch on: December 12, 2013, 10:23:32 AM
I'm not sure I trust black arrow. How do you all feel?

I trust their chips will be on time and well above spec.
2757  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Monarch Update Shipping of first device now Feb 2014 on: December 12, 2013, 10:16:23 AM
What happened to the original timeline that they removed. Did they somehow magically find a way to cut nearly 3 months off that plan? Or are they just doing creative timeline management again? Or because they were supposed to deliver what was it again? August tape out and December delivery? Amazing how 4 months disappears.

15 weeks total from tape out or nearly 4 months. Let us be generous and say they have completed tape out. No proof or statement yet to that effect.

Dec
Jan
Feb
Mar

If it is before March that be a surprise. My guess summer.

I'm split between

and

Either sans type or just a naked logo works for me.

Still want to see more from others as well, still lots of time.

2759  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [The Wasp] 28nm ASIC Miner Open Hardware Development Project on: December 12, 2013, 05:27:33 AM
This project is very interesting. I would rather invest my money/time/skills in an open source project than a any of the other offerings.
Also the concept of the hive/wasp is great for long term. I admit I have not read the full thread, but how could I get involved ?

Drop me your email address I can get you in for the last 3 days of the trial membership. After the 15th we are closed to non-paying members.
