3581  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICS ASICS EVERYWHERE How AWSOME IS THIS !!!! :D on: September 08, 2013, 01:45:51 AM
There two possibilities.

1. They are lying and stealing people's money.
2. They are incompetent.

Either way they are SHADY.
3582  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Yifu, Please dont ship my order! Just refund! on: September 08, 2013, 01:40:37 AM
Any response yet?
3583  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 08, 2013, 01:38:45 AM

Remember Josh saying "It takes 4 minutes to assemble a unit."

4 minutes a unit... spectacular. Where has there been any evidence that a unit at BFL has been made in 4 minutes. I would love to see that claim backed up with evidence. Maybe he lied?
3584  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL - Is this saga finally going to go away on: September 08, 2013, 01:33:40 AM
Here's my speculation

April - dev boards and excuses
May - dev boards and more excuses
June - updates related to the new chips with lower power draw
July - possible production with new chips
August - delays because of ill preparation for mass assembly
September - production quality pre-orders start shipping
Jan/Feb 2014 - production quality pre-orders finish shipping
March 2014 - mini rig assembled :p

I think the irony of bumping up a 5 month old thread is that the SHIT about this just does not stop, and it has not changed or gotten any better.

That should tell you something. It hasn't changed, ain't ever gonna change, and the crap will just stay the same, forever.

It isn't IRONY it is CRIMINALITY and it is topical. Why hasn't BFL changed? Why haven't they shipped? Why can't or won't give refunds unless forced?
3585  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YES, you can get a REFUND from BFL on: September 08, 2013, 01:32:26 AM
Love the quote at the end of the page...

My favourite version of that line is:

"If you can't find the asshole in the room it is you." Fortunately we can all identify Josh and a few of his minions flittering about.

Sad to see people get taken and won't be able to ROI on their units. This nightmare will hopefully end when they stop getting enough orders to buy ad space here and on facebook and elsewhere. Maybe the AG and FTC might have to shut them down an put a few of them in jail. Either way if you haven't tried to get a refund do it now.
3586  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: September 08, 2013, 01:26:20 AM
guys, i suggest to calm down, things are getting fixed in the right way.
More complaints are pointless.
Let's give him some  more time

I simply reject that reality and expect communication for people who have placed orders that are worth over 80,000 USD. They have every right not remain "calm" in fact they have a right to be very upset.
3587  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 07, 2013, 05:34:26 PM
Let em play the hate and disinformation card XIan... no one is buying his particularly brand of Shady. Much more important points in this thread... like how BFL will not, repeat, will not ship as they "promised" yet again. The goal from here on out should be to warn people off BFL products and make sure fewer people get suckered in by them. Matter of time before BFL does falter and disappear. With a much healthier marketplace BFL will be done in a few  months from now they can't compete they have nothing anyone wants because the can't deliver on time.
3588  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL custom made PSUs burnt in europe on: September 07, 2013, 05:24:53 PM
You are a hypocrite and clearly a fanboy.

Par for the course for anyone shilling for Butterfly Labs; a staggering lack of self-awareness and meta-cognition.

I think it is pretty clear he lacks integrity. Shady just plain shady.

Guessing that those rejected BFL orders in Europe were possibly a good thing given this thread. Are BFL shipping something that is potentially dangerous?
3589  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL - Is this saga finally going to go away on: September 07, 2013, 04:45:04 PM
Thought i would come and get may dose of soap/drama and read the never ending BFL lies/bullshit that they are putting ppl through and the second installment of what denial looks like when reading the defence from the fan boi's

To my surprise I find they are 20 topics down the list !

Is this saga finally coming to an end ?

Have they come to the point where the engineering gods have finally given them their just deserts for all the fails in the way they have approached this.... (josh calling a pcb a cocksuker is not going to make it start working)

Have all the lies finally caught up with them ?

After all the abuse that the AValon crew have taken who's company would you like to be working for right now ?

After bitcoin hitting $80 the writing is finally on the wall that they need to release in the next 2-4 weeks otherwise its all over (this is not going to happen)

Are they really at first stage proto and a real production run is 6 weeks away (once they find a proto that actually works and then produce the pcb's and packaging to suit  )

Half of the products they where selling are now technically impossible due to believing in there own press releases

Unless u want to have a AX1200 connected to the Japelano or a 2.7 Jiga Watt fosill fuel power plant to the now infamous 1.5 T Has rig

I dont have an Avalon nor want one as the BFL saga has early on set me onto Litecoin (thank you jesus)

I really hope something comes out for the long suffering investors/customers/cocksuckers   (last one is from josh)

A bit scary they release a promo video to try and buy time and build confidence (real issues down on the farm as the tractor is stuck in the mud me guess's )

Of a company more deserving to fail these guys are the poster child of what not to do or how to do it !

Nope not over yet...
3590  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Data compilation on successful BFL Refunds. on: September 07, 2013, 02:38:40 PM

Please add to this if you were successful at obtaining refund from BFL. Directly or indirectly.

Would really be interested if your refund was willingly given or you had to fight for it.

Mods: Do what you need.

Flametards: Have at it.

Be nice if there were no need for lists compiled by independent people... shouldn't reputable companies simply refund those who have requested it keeping with FTC regulations?

3591  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 07, 2013, 02:36:05 PM
Fridays update
Jalapenos 4.5 and 5 gh/s: Feb 12-14, 2013 no Jallys shipped today

Little Singles 30 and 25 gh/s: Nov. 6, 2012

Singles 60 and 50 gh/s: Aug 6,7, 2012 pay date

MiniRigs: June 23 orders (3rd 500gh/s unit), July 2 orders 2nd 500 gh/s
August 2 for 1st 500 g/s units

Another 3 days of progress on Singles and not much else.

Very predictable. And as previously stated not enough to clear backlog until December or January

Failure is inevitable for BFL... why would they want to change now?
3592  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 07, 2013, 02:33:22 PM
And my ignore list grows.

Have had that fellow ignored for over a week. Clearly another multiple account from BFL. Shady people from a shady company.
3593  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: September 07, 2013, 02:15:08 PM
Least I am not

SHADY.

3594  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL custom made PSUs burnt in europe on: September 07, 2013, 11:21:21 AM
Why promise if you can't deliver.

Say it with me.

BFL is just

SHADY!
3595  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: September 07, 2013, 10:08:44 AM
My issue is the overall price,$3,000-8,000 to "enter the market"  Cry   Sorry,I'm a poor SOB,give me something for a few hundred or even just $1000..................this goes for all vendors   Roll Eyes

The time has come for all good individuals to come to the realization that "cooperative" mining is your next best bet if you want to keep playing.
3596  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: September 07, 2013, 09:56:21 AM
Alright guys, got some good news, here's the two big ones.

1. chips from wednesday arrived just fine, they are being split/packaged for shipment.
2. we are going to open refund for all orders, not just june 1st/15th or what not.

expect more detailed update via newsletter later tonight.

Keep asking... it will just show up. Sorta what happened for our refund.
3597  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YES, you can get a REFUND from BFL on: September 07, 2013, 07:39:03 AM
Quote from: The BBB
stating that all pre-order sales are final, they can certainly make the case in court that no refunds are due

Sounds like the BBB needs an education in Internet businesses. No sale has taken place, since nothing has been delivered.

http://business.ftc.gov/documents/bus02-business-guide-mail-and-telephone-order-merchandise-rule

Excuses like "your funds are being used" have no basis in regulations. When delays happen (and they happen a lot with BFL), "a statement that, if the customer chooses not to wait, the customer can cancel the order immediately and obtain a full and prompt refund;" and "You must cancel an order and provide a prompt refund when: the customer exercises any option to cancel before you ship the merchandise;" are regulations that BFL must abide by.

Yup... say it with me... BFL is just

SHADY!

Say it with me BFL is just

shady.

Yesterday I've received the improved version of my single fan plates from production.

Here are some pictures of my singles with the new plates. Air is now flowing much easier.

It's easy to see the difference, when you directly compare it with the standard version.

A friend of mine has made them on his professional CNC-machine based on my design.
I've ask him if he would produce and ship them in very low volume too. And he agreed.

He would even produce them for order volume ONE.
He is thinking about a kit including:
2 x Improved fan plates
2 x fan grills
8 x screws

The plate is made fully compatible to the existing one (same backside profile).

Update: He is selling the sets now on www.bitmit.net
His account name is wowo and I can confirm that he is the official manufacture of my fan plate design.
Look on bitmit for 'FAN PLATE Set for BFL SINGLE'S'. I'm sure you will find it there.

It'd be nice to have a video that actually shows how much this improves the noise level and temp.

Need an air filter... that is going suck in the dust for sure.  https://www.bitcoinstore.com/accessories/air-filters.html
