561  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [GUIDE] B's The Least Biased & Opinionated Miner Sellers Trustworthiness Guide on: March 01, 2015, 11:59:58 AM
Updated Original Post.

Added Bitmain and Spondoolies to B2B and kept them in Consumer as well.

Not that it matters. At this point Petahash is what you need with CHEAP electricity if you are not able to secure that you should not be mining BTC.

Also will be adding PCFli's to the consumer sellers as well.

One batch of antminer S5(1.15T@590w) , total 500 units, is ready to sell at the price of 340$ , if you have interest, please reply this topic or PM me. Those miner can be online within 48 hours after payment.

The host fee will be only 1.416$ each miner each day.

The miners will host in our CHENGDU Industrial Scale farm, where we promised that the up-time will be 98% and any downtime exceed that (14.4 hours each month) will be compensated in full.

I know that the btc price is very low currently, but i think it is still a good time to buy miner, since all the people are scared to buy miner and the difficulty will soon stop even drop, also, the price of the miner is already close to the cost to build them, so it is no way that the price of the miner will be further lowered. If the price of btc increase and the diff will not increase , it will have good chance to reach ROI. Also, our host fee is also the best that you can find in market.

BTW, some customer worried about the quality of our host service and the miner, so i will set one special guarantee policy, if the miner have problem in one month, we will replace it with a perfect one for free, if the miner have problem after one month, we provide two option: 1) repair it for free  2) pay us extra 50$, we will replace it directly with a perfect one.

How to buy
If you have interest to buy, just submite the order through the following the form and send me a PM to remind me
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1r3xNEjov2iFZDsm2jY93g66jf5TOyorum07DXn4H6z4/viewform
BTW
you can pay me via paypal for this sale.

You are biased?Huh  Really?

We do B2B sales, too  Tongue

oh nooooooooo   Mayday Mayday...  Biased Guide incoming...   Grin Grin Grin

Changed thread title to reflect changes in the available hardware section biased and opinionated guides.

I guess I should have explained more carefully.

B2B only and then consumers. Grin You and Spondoolies seem to be the only ones left I would recommend for consumers given the responses in these forums.

Bitfury currently the only company exclusively B2B that I put in thumbs up. Do you and spondoolies think this thread should dual bill you? I doubt anyone with $100K to spend is reading my posts.

564  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [27th Feb] on: March 01, 2015, 09:58:43 AM

Here's a situation I could've used one of your TLDR's. I'm going to base this discussion on the fact that you aren't biased towards any company, but to be fair it gets harder to believe every post. I am a fan and customer of both Bitmain and Spondoolies.

Anyways, with my second question I was questioning your model for evaluation, which is of course up to you it's your thread (though for the sake of transparency, don't call it a "Free resource guide". You auction off advertising space.  It's like calling a YouTube channel a free community resource based on hardship and the goodness of one's soul.  Traffic = money, cut the altruistim act)  I still believe you are misleading potential customers by labelling them as taking pre-orders, your rating makes them look like they are selling pre-orders at present.  If they do start selling pre-orders, I just don't see why it can't be changed to reflect their current business model in the same way Bitmain's was down-graded at the time they decided to. Consumers are generally smart enough to know if they are buying something physical or hopes and dreams, and even the shadiest hardware companies haven't lied about whether products were in stock or not.

As for the future criteria you have established, who the hell are you to decide whether a company can fund its next generation of hardware with or without pre-orders, are you their accountant?  Also, to satisfy your criteria why do they have to be able to prove that they have the capital to produce an entire line of hardware? If anything that is biased towards smaller companies with less sales.  I doubt even Bitmain has enough capital to design and produce every miner for their next generation without selling in batches, and nor should they otherwise there is money left on the table and better spent elsewhere.  Even if someone doesn't have the capital (which again, how you would base this judgement is beyond me) and decides to seek outside investors or loans (still not pre-orders, as the risk still falls on the company) why the hell should it matter? It doesn't affect the customer at the end of the day.

Now, as far as upgrading Bitmain's rating.  I assume you have looked at their balance sheets and statements to be assured that they have the capital to fund their next full generation of miners? Because they have clearly accepted pre-orders in the same time frame as SP-Tech w/ their L1. You are basing your "future" criteria in this instance on past performance by using their 28nm line-up, which shows how flawed that logic is. It's called speculation, at least have the decency to admit it.

Lastly, if you really want to be specific and follow the word of the law (which you have shown to whole-heartedly), Bitmain sells their miners as a pre-order, even if it's only a few weeks:

Antminer S2 goes on sale March 14th Expected ship date: April 1st
Antminer S3 goes on sale: June 30th  Expected ship date: July 10th-20th
Antminer S4 goes on sale: September 16th Expected ship date: End of September

So tell me, exactly how does receiving funds and not shipping products for 2 weeks+ not qualify as a pre-order according to your criteria?

You claim to be bias-free, but all of your qualifying criteria are completely subjectively based.  It appears you make up whatever qualifiers you need to justify your ratings and decisions instead of the other way around.  That is not neutral.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, you keep telling SP-Tech that you will upgrade their rating when they release their next generation hardware and sell from stock. BMT SOLD PRE-ORDERS IN NOVEMBER, YET STRANGELY I STILL DON'T SEE THEIR 16NM LINE RELEASED? That my friend, is complete hypocrisy.

If nothing else, I ask that you please address this question directly: Why has BMT been upgraded without having released a new generation of miners without pre-orders, when SP-Tech is not being held by the same standard?

Bias is why.

One can only wonder who Fatman is but his posts are very familiar in style and format to another that POSTS here in hardware. Do your own comparisons. Particularly the style of picture and faux dialogue. There is dogshit on somebody's shoes we can all smell it.

Note Technobit ratings still remain unchanged. Astonishing given the countless posts recently. Beyond me how anyone would think that bias doesn't enter into his ratings. It is clearly skewed to those he has "positive" relationships with versus the reality of the consumer calls for refunds and hardware.
565  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [27th Feb] on: March 01, 2015, 12:27:22 AM
What exactly prompted you to upgrade Bitmain's pre-order status anyways?  The L1 pre-order is still part of this current generation, and they haven't released a new generation.

And I agree with SP-tech.  They claim to sell next gen out of hand.  If they even allude to changing this strategy and offering pre-orders, you can go ahead and down-grade on the spot.  Why is Bitmain getting preferential treatment in this pre-order category?

Bias.
566  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: TECHNOBIT fucked us on: February 28, 2015, 12:06:57 AM
Nice shell game... don't ship miners and mine with them then sell them used to others. Why are people waiting months for miners? What pos company. Pretty obvious at this point they are pulling a BFL.
567  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: February 27, 2015, 02:01:21 PM

Here's hoping BTC hits $50 !!! Grin

If BTC is mined centrally only, then it's no better than the dollar. It'll be manipulated to death by those in control of the network, forcing higher & higher fees & other problems  Sad

BTW,cloud mining only makes BTC for those hosting the miners...ever!!!  Tongue

Thanks for being honest Spoondolies!!! Best of luck to those mining at home still.

http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-elite-meet-secret-island-bilderberg-style-retreat/

Two words. Satoshi Roundtable

I think Bitcoin has already been manipulated to death by those who hold massive amounts of the coin not just those who have the majority of miner power. What makes anyone think that mining would remain in the small scale domain distributed widely? People have been explaining the consolidation for years. Spondoolies will do what it can to he maintain some of the ecosystem selling to groups interested in challenging Bitfury, Bitmain, Asicminer and KnC as well as others. But again the trends is clear economies of scale, cooling and cheap power for mining. Those who are not ordering on larger and larger scales are unable to keep up.
568  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [February 2015] on: February 27, 2015, 09:25:34 AM
Woke up.

Outright lies and inaccuracies.

You're a joke.

I am glad you have come to the same conclusion many of us have had for well over a year.

Getting him to recant is impossible.

All you can do now is POST clarifications anywhere you spot him lying.
569  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [GUIDE] B's Moderated Biased & Opinionated Miner Sellers Trustworthiness Guide on: February 26, 2015, 06:59:13 AM
I don't see the point to mining with anything cloud or otherwise since it is a loss. Sell your miners and hold BTC till you get the price you think you feel comfortable cashing out is probably the best solution.

Only if you are looking to write off losses to offset other tax burdens elsewhere would mining be something worth looking at or if you had access to Petahash and the power to run it without cost. Say something like a solar, wind, wave, hydro or biogas farm coupled with mining. The end of home or small scale mining is now. The end of B2B sales to those who would farm is coming and the what will be left are large companies as we see them gobble up power and the percentage of the network. There is no safe haven now for mining. Another sustained crash of something like a sub 50$ in BTC price will pretty much wipe out every weak cloud hashing or mining farm. What will be left are those entities with low power costs or with the ability to shut down large parts of their network without too much overhead.

My situation is I'm a legal miner (bank error forced to file see thread below so as not to go off topic....do the poll also if you'd like)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=969646.msg10585422#msg10585422

So essentially I've been a mining like heck and due to the circumstances of the above thread ..with little choice have managed or will manage
to pull it off for 3 years with equip deprecation and home biz etc and will likely pay NO TAXES to IRS thru 2015 when my last miner poops out (knc Titan)

THE CATCH

is if home mining equip is dead...for usefulness with perhaps cloud mining the same soon......then I will have in 2016 (2.5k or so equip depreciation off of mining I could use) and 2017 (maybe 1K left of the same)

so if no home miners and I doubt cloud mining (see my tag line below) applies ..how to get the rest of my equip depreciation kudos for these last 2 years
round this all out to keep the IRS happy? need an option to home miners that makes sense and can kinda sorta make some coin don't ya know
of my 5 year biz plan ...as a legal usa miner (2013 IRS virtual currency guidelines)

so the point is (further details in above thread link off topic)

1) IS THERE any very small data hall type arrangement of a more robust manner then cloud hosting..ie some small share/part owner of small pooled data farm that people
could recomend? again not cloud mining.....i really don't think that would fly..i mean like 10 guys renting something and pooling equipment kinda thing
to get around the home miners going bye bye?

If there are ....anyone here got some that are legit? or they run? or they use? etc

2) same as above but more of a co-op non profit arrangement ( like farmers would use to get/pool equipment under same kind of showing of equip to 'crop
so to speak' revenue stream...ie IRS wants 25% of what I mine (less equip deprecation and other biz expenses) this is also true of a farm co-op arrangement
again catch is if i want to show revenue (mining or as an example farmer) then mining (crops) has to make some kinda sense.....or why farm/mine or buy
the tractor/miner etc you get the analogy....has to make 'some' sense even if at some loss in long term

3) perhaps frigging cloud hosting qualifies (see my tag line) i sorta doubt it .....IRS audit and you point to a web page....? virtual cloud miner? probably not

anyway just here to point out that some of us (thru no fault of our own) kinda had to want to or forced to be legal miners in USA so to expand this beyond the
home miner drought of equipment in the future...are there any small co-op / data hall arrangements of equip that may make sense in the future (2016/17 in my case)
that are getting off the ground to fill in this void of the home miners going bye bye

this thread may want to review such 'real' equip situations co-op or otherwise as a stop gap or bridge away from home mining equip (now that esp scrypt seem to be toast)

anyway just my thoughts I used to run a large bbs game server back in the day....it was a lot more fun with 5 guys involved making the bbs 5x bigger then it was
just running a puny game server /bbs by your lonesome...that also was a biz.....same kinda logic....

and again (see my cloud hosting tagline) imho cloud hosting per say ...will probably not cut this ...(but i could be wrong)

anyway if this is off topic feel free to kill this post...but if home miners are going kaput here soon this seems the only small scale option left small group equip
arrangement of a data hall /bldg or co-op

looking for some legit options with the above in mind....supposedly there have to be small players of this of some note and reputation that would apply to this thread

thanks for reading the above mess and feel free to kill this post if it is too far off the home miner topic of review

570  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Don't Buy Any Hardware Right Now Unless You Want to Lose Money! on: February 26, 2015, 04:32:49 AM
KnC + Bitfury + Asicminer + Bitmain + many others...

All are self-mining. The end game here is no one will be able to purchase mining power unless it is old and inefficient.

The more realistic end game though is a BTC price crash that leaves most farms having to shut off just to save the enormous electricity bill.
571  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: February 26, 2015, 01:21:51 AM
Anyone think Sondoolies Tech will even make other miners?

Yes and it will likely be the last one you can purchase from moving forward. Given the KnC, Bitfury,  Asicminer model of their own farms the market demand will probably disappear completely.
Build & self-mining farms will be the only thing left before an even larger collapse of the BTC price.

I like to think you are wrong.  But I am losing my bullish beliefs in BTC 1 day at a time.

Hard to have faith in a cornered market that is manipulated by a small group who like to find time to pool resources and discuss the future of Bitcoin behind closed doors. There will be a lot more volatility not saying price will tank and stay there but what will happen will be a catastrophic collapse that the current mining ecosystem doesn't seem to be willing or ready to accept given the race to the bottom. If you haven't diversified yet then mining hardware could be a coffin for a company. Obviously Spondoolies is fighting to find avenues that will allow it to weather those sort of vagaries in the marketplace, such as having no customers for great products, but as more and more hashpower comes online in fewer hands there is a point where the market for people willing to invest in such small gains becomes evident to even the most optimistic sales team on the planet. It doesn't stop at the home miner it keeps going beyond that. Watch and see.
572  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitcrane on: February 26, 2015, 01:07:35 AM
10/10 on ethics right Dogie...
10/10 on time shipping right Dogie...

Ethically I think both Zich and Dogie are compromised.Neither side with the consumers on issues like this and that is telling. Oh so it is buyer beware and you can continue to promote a company completely caught red handed lying to people. Well Technobit is clearly predatory and has been for years. Simply no excuses at this point to support anything they are doing given the level of fraud.

Suffice to say that no one really should recommend Bitcrane or Avalon 4.1 simply on price / efficiency points as other have.

Choose reputable suppliers and producers.

1. Spondoolies or Bitmain
2. PCFli thread for Bitmain

These are good choices.

Others might land you in serious trouble or just not ethically the right choice.

Why are customers waiting for products again? Things Loshia won't admit Technobit is a fraud because he is paid to promote them.

"Our hosting center should have had quite a few of the Technobit boards, and we even offered Technobit to do the repair for free on the boards that should have come here.  They talked with us a bit then never said anything to us after.  They had plenty of stock and have shipped the same boards to other people, but for some reason I haven't heard of one of the orders through that big Minersource trade going through.  I wouldn't deal with them after seeing this."
575  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitcrane on: February 25, 2015, 11:49:44 PM

You support Technobit. Not their customers.

You should be warning people OFF them not promoting them and hoping for Marto to pump out more crap and late products.

Be honest Technobit is a mess and people should avoid them.

Let us be clear. Avalon or whatever you call them now are the same people that caused millions in losses to this community. No matter how DOGIE wants to play it you would be advised to avoid anything from that company in solidarity for those that lost a lot of money on their bullshit and they never ever compensated anyone for that nor did they apologize.

There is little left in consumer based mining and thankfully that means people who continue to prop up companies that have scammed and are scamming will have little to support as things move forward. End of era but clearly you need to avoid Avalon 4.1 and Technobit as well as Bitcrane.

I will let you handle the warning jobs.
I am a customer support after all.

Support isn't support when you're ignoring fraud. Dogie knows all about that.

Enjoy helping people you could have saved the hassle of buying from TECHNOBIT with a simple warning. Did you invest in his latest scam or is supporting it by expressing how you are anticipating a 25,000 scam on BTCjam also part of your altruistic support?
576  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: TECHNOBIT fucked us on: February 25, 2015, 06:33:05 PM
I am not sure what miners you are talking about, but as far as i know they are just a shop which orders from other companies who make a deal with them to sell miners.
Never seen them have own brand miners in shop.
I think you ordered one miner which probably was from a company which disappeared.
Their are plenty which was going to deliver in feb. but went offline or never answer if you mail them

Worth mentioning that Technobit had a deal where you could trade them Black Arrow chips and get an assembled Black Arrow board with a couple fewer chips.  This was back in July and they claimed they'd be shipping in a couple weeks.  Minersource did a deal where they traded a lot of the Black Arrow orders they owed but couldn't get because Black Arrow couldn't seem to ship anything not crappy and/or explosive.  As far as I know, though, Minersource never had money from that, they simply traded chips from Black Arrow to Technobit.  As far as I know no one on that deal got any hardware ever.  Supposedly there were some bad parts put on the boards, which caused the initial delay.  Our hosting center should have had quite a few of the Technobit boards, and we even offered Technobit to do the repair for free on the boards that should have come here.  They talked with us a bit then never said anything to us after.  They had plenty of stock and have shipped the same boards to other people, but for some reason I haven't heard of one of the orders through that big Minersource trade going through.  I wouldn't deal with them after seeing this.

Everything above is as far as I know- and I didn't order anything from them so that might not be too far, but we were discussing helping them fill that minersource order, possibly doing more than just the assembly on boards to be hosted here- and they suddenly went dark on us, all while their website claimed they had the exact same boards in stock and shipping.

Makes you wonder who would want to order from Technobit... sad to say but people need to heed the warnings and avoid Technobit at all costs.
577  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: TECHNOBIT fucked us on: February 25, 2015, 05:18:06 PM
I am pretty sure you got a burnt unit because you posted this thread.

Marto doesn't play nice with customers that demand product or services publically. This isn't the first time he has pulled this shit on people. I wouldn't be surprised if you get nothing back for a while or you get another faulty unit.
Marto send a unit today, I'm waiting

There is a pattern.

It will continue as long as people keep buying from this company. 3 years of the same sort of bullshit. I hope people learn from your troubles and avoid this company in future.

Just those that support Technobit / Dogie I guess.

I know you hate Technobit so much.
But as long as there are peoples need my help, i will help them. That included technobit.

Feast your eyes on this:

Shocking. Just.......shocking  Shocked

The reason?

He was the one that posted the Technobit Fucked Us thread. Marto has played these sorts of games with anyone who calls him out on his scams. Be it not refunding some individuals, sending fake tracking information, cancelling and often delaying shipments or just plain ignoring customers.

Anyone who continues to support Technobit at this point must either be paid to do so or just a multiple account of Marto and his team. Sad but this fraud has gone on since 2013 without too much notice and still people keeping buying crappy product and even worse customer service. None of this is surprising really. Anyone who speaks out as a customer with pending orders runs the risk of getting further screwed.
