41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ethereum investment for future ?? on: June 26, 2020, 08:22:44 AM
yes ethereum is one of the best investment for future,, it has a lot of potential specially now they are launching ethereum 2.0 they put a lot of effort to build this eth 2.0.. if i have extra i will bag more
Many users this coming upgrade will change and can be the best performance of ethereum. Well let's hope ethereym will soaring high again, but, until this day Ethereum is one of my best hold coin. Though many copy cat in the market I can say it is the investment for the future.
Agree! Right now, ETH is one of my preferred coins in the market. The upcoming upgrade will help ETH gaining their power and position in the cryptocurrency market, I believe. Furthermore, the side effects of the ETH 2.0 launching event can bring another bullish season for altcoins. We're expecting that to happen since the market has been in a "recession" for a while!
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: June 26, 2020, 08:10:58 AM
After I saw that Bitcoin has a bad rating in their database I concluded that this is paid promotion to hype coins they are supporting, how can you say that Bitcoin is the worst when it has a huge dominance in the market, the coins that they listed as leading cannot even get closer to Bitcoin's dominance in the market.
True! Most of rating sites nowadays work based on their behalf. They are more likely to promote a coin that they are hired to advertise. I don't have the habit of believing rating sites because it's too easy to be manipulated by the creators or administrators. Instead, I choose to believe in users' feedback on crypto forums such as bitcointalk!
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short suggestion and situation on: June 26, 2020, 07:32:45 AM
Making money online isn't bad and sometimes it's seasonal. An example is freelancers, sometimes you might not get clients but you can use it for side hustle if you have a job in real life. Better still, you can sell things online. You can have you own online store and have your own audience/customers.
MMO - Making money online has been familiar and popular to people for years. It's not something that too strange anymore. For example, selling things in Amazon is also called making money online. It's not a seasonal job anymore. The world is "flat" right now thanks to the developments of the internet. Therefore, online jobs are offered internationally. You can easily find a way to make money online at any time in the year for sure!
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most searched cryptocurrencies on Google on: June 26, 2020, 07:25:53 AM
Google Trends is not the same as the Market Cap rating, so it is okay that some coins are out the trends on Google. As of Binance Coin, it is now out of hype, so I am not surprised it is not in the trend.
Yes, because the trend on google is only based on search keywords not based on volume of demand, and that obviously has nothing to do with the market and will not affect the development of a token or coin that is already popular in crypto.
Agree! The most trending coin on Google doesn't mean it's the most valuable coin to us, traders and investors! We all know that in our market, we don't do our research based on Google. Google is a searching machine that contains a lot of unofficial and uncensored news that we should not believe in!
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Spot a Shitcoin? on: June 26, 2020, 07:09:02 AM
If you are not good in finding a scam or shitcoin, the scam section is the best place to check if the coin that you want to support and invest are reported or you can go to the altcoin discussion and ask members what they think about a certain project that you want to invest or promote diligent research is always the key.
Right! If you don't know how to do research than you can temporarily use the scam section to get scam alerts. However, in the long run, you have to learn how to do research. My key when doing research is that I'll take out any project that leaves me with doubts after reading the information as well as the plan!
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] One of Bitcoin's biggest bulls "doesn't even know" what Ethereum DeFi is on: June 26, 2020, 06:49:44 AM
DeFi means decentralized Finance, maybe the interviewer should have ask him what decentralized Finance is instead of DeFi? Might sound confusing using DeFi? I personally don't know what DeFi was until I figured it out that it was shorten name of decentralized Finance, I bet he knows what that is.
I'm skeptical about this. If he is the one who can get interviewed, he has to have certain understandings and fundamental knowledge about the cryptocurrency market. Lately, the word "Decentralized Finance" is like a hype on cryptocurrency forums. Obviously, when you know the word, you have to know its abbreviation! It doesn't make sense if he know "decentralized finance" but not know DeFi.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted projects ruined me !! on: June 25, 2020, 09:31:26 AM
in 2017 where all coins experienced a very high increase because btc also rose.
so that almost all types of coins went up, even though there was no news or further development of each of these projects.
but in 2018 all of these increases turn into mass declines.
and the market was very weak at the time, this was also the main reason why many projects died, even though it was only released on the market, the reason was simple because the value of their tokens followed the btc.
To be fair, we can't blame BTC for other coins' dumps! The reason is that other coins should have their own plan to get rid of the effects of the market! We have to admit that BTC has a huge effects on other coins' value. However, when the crisis comes, every single coin in the market are affected. We have to question that why other coins still alive but some don't?
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Spot a Shitcoin? on: June 25, 2020, 09:18:23 AM
its very difficult to identify a shitcoin.. they are hiding Grin Grin even after so many research you do on that coin still you are not convince that is a shit coin..the moment you realize its a shit coin is when you bought some and afterwards its has no more value  Grin Grin Grin
True! It easier to say a coin isn't good than say it's bad! You can determine a "not good" project by doing research. I suggest you do not ever invest your money into a project that seems "not good enough" or "too good". When I do my research, if I have any doubt about that project, I will stop thinking about investing in it!
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the new cryptocurrency worth buying on: June 19, 2020, 05:17:53 AM
I have not bought new coins since 2018 because I have observed many new altcoins that only throw away when listing and there are even many who die. so I suggest you stay away from new altcoin as an investment

if that was being launched by very well known party and why not? so many news coins have been giving good ROI to the early investors. In my opinion if everything is still possible to happen. We can't say whole coins are scam coins.

altcoin looks good now, we see many altcoin today have good price in this season. even old coins get their existance at this moment at starting new marketing program so investors know about them. looks like altcoin season will coming again , i see some good project occur again in this forum , and maybe this project will give us profits.
I hope so! Even though the market is still in the difficult time. However, I believe that in the last quarter of 2020, that's be the time for the market to recover from the negative effects of the pandemic. I hope that in the second-half of this year, there will be a lot of profitable projects that can give us all a chance to earn profits after a long time of being unemployed!!
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of IEO is Exchange on: June 19, 2020, 04:39:01 AM
Yep no matter how good project it is but launching IEO on suspicious exchanges chances the project will be failed. They better go the top exchanges for sure the project will be successful.
In IEO the investors consider about the credibility of exchange site caused by it will determine how big the liquidity that can be achieved by the token after it was getting traded on the exchange site. That's the same like what you have been saying above me when the exchange site can drowned the credibility of the project.
In IEO, the credibility of IEO is very important because looking at the credibility and trust in the exchange builds the trust of investors to put their money in IEO investment. we know now that confidence in IEO is actually experiencing a huge decline. even people have doubts about IEO
True! The trust of participants in ICO and IEO projects has been reduced dramatically since there were too many scammed one. For me, the successful of an ICO or IEO project is gaining people trust. However, that's the successful on the project side. The successful for both sides (the project side and participants side) is that the project achieves its goals and brings profits to both sides. Got listed on Exchanges is just the first step of being successful!
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should we need to do for a successful ico on: June 19, 2020, 04:20:28 AM
Hi everyone , We hope to Launch a ICO in next month ,  So we need to complete our ICO successfully , So we need your IDEAS to launch a successfull ICO campaign...

What should we do except bounty and Airdrop?

For the time being, IEO may be of more interest to the participants. This talks about the effectiveness and the duration of time, my advice is to create quality and make it interesting and real and I am sure it will succeed if it matches what was described and done.
True! A lot of participants lost their trust in ICO since there were too many scammed ICO projects in the past. Therefore, IEO may be a better idea. When you do any project, the most important thing is that you have to have a clear plan for your project. You have to show us all (participants, investors, traders, bounty hunters, etc) the strengths of the project that you believe it can create a difference! Most of the investors invest in a project when they see the potential of the project by looking at the plan. After that, they also care about the attitude of the team. Your team has to be clear, follow the plan, and keep us updated regularly in order to gain your credibility!
52  Other / Meta / Re: BTT accounts Ban. on: June 18, 2020, 09:12:27 AM
So some of my crypto friends just got their accounts banned for some reasons, and as far as I know they are all bounty hunter who are sharing same bounties together, same with me. Most of our bounties are from Bounty detective's bounty campaign and I see any possible reasons that would caused them bannig their accounts since most of the BD's campaigns uses form to report, so no possible spamming of reports and other Bounty Campaigns don't usually the same day of reports. They don't really know what caused their accounts to be banned. And I was wondering why the BTT admins don't cite any reasons of banning or at least give users a warning or notifications that they have done something against the rules of BTT forum, not like they would ban accounts right away without giving out any reasons to the users. Any thoughts about it?

You are underestimating Moderators here in Bitcointalk ?do you think they will just banned an account without truthful reason?

And why Moderator needs to Give them warning when they are literally making mistakes that can cause banning?

Sorry to say but majority of Bounty Hunters are cheaters and that is obvious reason why they are either Banned or red tagged.

and sometimes it is better to just banned them so the possibilities of making another mistakes will gone with their account.

and also don't act as your friends are really concerned about their low ranking accounts because they can create tons of it.
Sad but true lol!!! I usually don't get in some arguments like this but hell I have to join! There's no such thing called mistake in the punishment on this forum. I believe that moderators will not take any action before considering it over and over. You know, when you join a community, you have to obey the rules set by the moderators (on users' behalf). When you join a community and can't follow the rule, you'll be the outsider. That's just too easy to understand! The only thing your friend should do is to review their faults and fix it before coming back to this forum!
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Binance beat Ethereum on: June 18, 2020, 07:00:22 AM

Now, let's wait for another 2 years, and let's re-assess the developments between ETH and BNB. But right now, I still go for eth as more people are using it as compared to BNB. BNB is an exchange coin, so whatever happens to the exchange, will affect their performance as well. Though they are pretty strong right now, but ethereum's coverage is wider than BNB.
Agree, BNB coins become popular because they have a large Exchange, many Crypto Traders around the world use their Exchange, So their coins get more attention from the traders. I personally consider if the Binance Team able to maintain this good reputation then I am sure BNB can beat ETH.
Absolutely BNB can beat ETH one day because if you are an investor interested in making profits, then BNB is the first choice that you think of. In addition, holding BNB will bring a lot of opportunities for you to participate in some IEO projects proposed by Binance. Of course, that is why I like BNB because IEO projects always bring investors huge profits.
Not for sure! BNB and ETH have different pathways than you know, they don't head the same way. However, in the general perspective, ETH is the second biggest coin in the market. Most of newbies come to the cryptocurrency world through ETH. ETH also has a lot of significant changes and clear plans for their future. I have to admit that BNB teams are working really hard to gain their position in the market. However, it's too hard for BNB to take down ETH!
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bankera..3 years after ICO...a money grab ICO??? on: June 18, 2020, 06:45:43 AM
They had a scam accusations already before they had launched their ICO in 2017. Well most investors during that year are probably brought by hypes and shillings, those scam ICO’s hit investors really hard and we all learned a lesson from that.
The main question was how did the investors buy or join into the crap project like bankera?I have been spreading the awareness about this before bankera ico has begun but so many investors were ignoring me
Most of investors back to those days didn't know about the rate of being scammed when join ICOs. Throw back to 2017, a lot of ICO projects were launched and most of them are scam projects. However, I'll be surprise if nowadays there's still people who believe in ICO projects like Bankera. It doesn't need to take 3 years to realize that it's a trash project!
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT? on: June 18, 2020, 06:16:22 AM
I'm not sure how safe tether is I've been hearing fud for as long as I can remember. It has been around for a few years but I would rather use usdc or some other option in case something goes wrong my concern would be they don't have the actual dollars to back the coins
True! Even though Tether has been in the market for a few years until now. I still don't have enough confidence to use Tether as a stable coin or a store-of-value method. I rather use USDT to store my capital in the circumstance that the other crytos are on red or decreasing time.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: June 18, 2020, 05:00:41 AM
quite a lot of regrets that I experienced in crypto such as not buying bitcoin when it has a low price and not selling some altcoin when it reaches a high price, this is because I believe too much everyone who says "HOLD HOLD" for that I do not really trust anyone , I will sell when I make a profit
LOL true! All of that comes to the biggest regret that I didn't have enough knowledge, skills and experiences when I first came to the market. Because of that, I experienced a lot of losses during that point of time. There was a time that I was totally desperate about my ability. I thought I couldn't handle anything and felt useless. It took me a while to realize that the point is just I didn't invest enough time to study!
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto regulations still have a chance? on: June 17, 2020, 10:02:50 AM
Regulation will help a bit, scams can reduced but not entirely wiped out, regulations is like the law and a world without the law is going to be a living hell, regulation will work but not 100 percent
The regulation will make the scammers will be thinking for a twice before they wanna try to scam others. The problem is the implementation for the open market. At least the regulation gives more guarantee for people who have invested or played with crypto.
Right. However, it seems hard to create regulations in this market. The reason is that there's no particular organization has direct controls over the market. If we need regulations, who will create? who will ensure that people follow it? What's the punishment? It's just a hard thing to do!
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What future is expected for new altcoins? on: June 17, 2020, 09:47:59 AM
Not sure I have heard of both coins/tokens before.
If you have done a proper research on both and not convinced, then it's probably better to just avoid them.
Unfortunately we don't have a generally accepted standards for ranking cryptos yet. An affordable and proper ranking system could make things more difficult for substandard/scam projects. If they don't get reviewed and ranked, people would be more careful using them.
The reason is that in this cryptocurrency market, we hardly know whether a project is a scam or not until we got scammed. Therefore, it's impossible to create a generally accepted standard to rank cryptos. Traders and investors have been telling each other to do good research and use our experiences to realize the risk before joining in. I think that's all we could do for now!
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: June 17, 2020, 09:40:12 AM
It's something difficult to take in. But I doubt we're going to zero. With Ethereum network being utilized by enterprises, there's hope for cryptocurrency in the future maybe their value currently is high but with time everything will be normalised. I don't see a zero point
Sure! The most difficult time for the cryptocurrency market to survive has passed a long time ago! The only problem now we should worry about the cryptocurrency market is its recognition and security, not its survival rate! There's hardly a way for cryptocurrencies to hit the zero point, I mean, for all of them. There will be some coins that pop up and gone, but those big cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, BNB,.. will keep raising their position!
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ProjectS Review, before your investment in 2020 year on: June 15, 2020, 10:15:54 AM
A research that is properly done is better than not doing anything at all or investing blindly, maybe because you heard or read about someone who said something on it.
I think most of the times, it boils down to the team. A white paper might not look so attractive and you can be surprised to see the project doing better than some that are looking big.

Cannot emphasize the point of doing research enough. For me even 5 minutes spent on Googling is enough to tell you about 90% of projects.

But I only half agree that it boils down to the team. Sometimes it is more about the community of users, who make a project even greater than the team ever can. Sometimes they love it so much THEY take it on themselves to carry the project and it does so well because of this.
True! Furthermore, accuracy has to exist if the team wants more people to join their projects! Therefore, doing research is always critical before joining in any project! You can doubt that all of the information is provided by the team is based on their intentions, however, better do something than nothing!
