its all you guys fault why dump in a loss
that acts decrease the value further deep

today, there is no ICO PARTICIPANT to be consider because you guys already receive the tokens and you use it to dump, so you dont deserve on any claim

all there is now only RISE HOLDER..
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Under Construction on: February 26, 2017, 11:01:22 AM
First of All , No one here is a scammer not justin and not anyone , What happened is that Rise Team didn't like the progress that justin and his team was doing so they decided to just replace him with a new dev.

Secondly, Chipz are more of an extra reward for you guys.

Thirdly, Stop Mourning for the money spent on the ICO , They were kinda like donations to help in the development , So you guys have no right whatsoever to ask for it back.

Forthly, Rise Classic will be up soon and regarding the Desktop Wallet , I stopped the development of it because i dont want to work with the new dev , However , I'm still a Rise Holder and a Delegate that forges blocks in Rise when it's updated.

im supporting RISE too, however, i dont like how you said donation, i dont do that, im pre-ordering the results

I believe Rise will be taken over by the community but no the ICO funds left.

if i may say
should be ok if the ALTY and scifi.rem and shazzy and justin be the project manager to maintain the foundation, and they
must responsible enough not to split the ICO funds, and use it real for development
they can hold some, but not most, i think 20%-30% of all ICO is OK for them to share,
the rest 70%-80% of ICO funds supposedly for development funds, also cheaper to hire in-house developer

486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Under Construction on: February 25, 2017, 05:04:57 AM
I agree this is 100%  a fail/scam and funds should be returned!! But then there is the issue that really the ICO investors should receive the £££ and many have sold for a 50-95% loss!!!! anyway thats very unlikely to happen as scammers dont return ££$$!!
while im calling them scammers i still do believe that the original intention was not one of outright theft, even though that is what has happened!

will not count as ICO anymore, but to be fair to all the coin holder
but i agree with whatever Zebedee said, except the above part
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: February 24, 2017, 05:15:20 AM

im nobody only small investor supporting some coins, thats all..

myStellar.org consist of few people, originally we want to create online news magazine with forum in it, with the freedom for community to display everything (citizen journalism), and they had freedom to comment anything good, and after 1year still it is;
yes i started the forum around only 5days after the rival that always favoured by jed, and i hold part of the keys to release the reward, but the forum is no more owned by me, some people have access on it, because i make it opensource too and share the login, meaning ANYONE can be the owner of the forum and have ownership shares if the forum win something or get funding from anything like advertising etc.
please check= https://www.mystellar.org/thread-969.html

after 1x changing UI, the appearance will evolve 1 last time to looked like a more magazine looks, (i think this will be final, and we took our spare time to do the code)

please check ALL the programs https://www.mystellar.org/forum-6.html

I was just wondering the same thing. I created an account there and my first action was to go to user CP and enter in my Stellar wallet address but did not see it immediately. anyways, my point is this site and offering peaked my interest as well.

thats not how to claim the stellar rewards, you must check in "$$$ Stellar Promotions $$$" section https://www.mystellar.org/forum-6.html
follow the rules of any promotion listed, and claim at its own sections
489  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OPAIR ICO=SCAM!! on: February 24, 2017, 04:36:31 AM
- Knowing the real identiy will prevent, that the same person scam twice or more often.

- "Going to court" is up to how good the escrow partner is paid  Grin

- If a scammer is from Europe I can report an offence in approx. 2h. In a way, that the prosecutor can build up his charge on this report.

- But at minium the escrow partner could provide this information to a investor, who sue the scammer, or to the prosecutor itself (if someone else report this offence).

All this will make it seriously more difficult to scam people here.

how to report an offence?
anyone have a hint on how? and who would handle this
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Building Multi-Language App Development Environments on: February 23, 2017, 06:06:03 PM
As much as I hate replying to the negative comments sometimes it feels necessary.

Please be assured that the Rise team is here for good and to grow this project into something we can all be proud of.

Updates coming when the developers are confident enough to make them public.

many believe in your word, "here for good and to grow this project into something we can all be proud of"

promise is a debt, and so the Rise Community is here staying too, really relly hoping RISE to success

But what did they bring? I remember my damaged bitcoin investment, miserable memory, it is a standard scam, they published identities, so they pretend to be innocent, you are naive.

by publishing identities, they can be found, and can be reported to interpol/embassy, IF they are really doing the crime as you accuse

saving money by working in a kitchen...yet they pay themselves oh I mean Do panic consulting what was it last time? 130k?

I know you're frustration and sorry if you lost alot in this shit show, it happened to all of us.

Trust me people defend coins like this all the time and it they always turn out to be scams, don't be one of those guys. Their spending shitloads of cash from the ICO with absolutely nothing to show for.

What bothered me even more is that Shell company "Do not panic" consulting own by them and laundering shitloads of cash from the ICO into it.

I'll come back to this thread in 6 months, guaranteed they'll have laundered more then 50% of the cash and nothing developed but feeding the mass more bullshit.

laundry the funding to dont panic? hmm i think the worry not yet proven and we should support them to deliver,
in the past expenses might because the initial setup usually costly, first time usually heavy

i dont know what method the dev use, but there is 3types of incentive can be done,
which is per/project or per/salary basis, or middle in both small salary/with bigger incentive

if you see other coins foundations, they all are starting to do the same as done by Dont Panic consulting
(NXT ARDOR IGNIS appoint JELURIDA its own core dev; LISK also outsource to Philliphine Community, bitcoin also have, but i forgot)

because as a non-profit its difficult to just outsouce to and external IT to do the job they envisioned,
to appoint the founder/initiator to be Responsible to his own project which we already funding in, is a good alternative too,
IF the plan is honest (Jelurida of NXT also selling blockchain service, to decrease/cut cost of the coin development, i believe Dont Panic Consulting are doing the same)
because now they must know what they are doing to grow and expand the project, in their visions

Any update to when we can see some product?
Like a timeline? Sometime this year I hope

I would like to know as well when will be the next update for this coin. I tried accessing their website but it is still down as of the moment. Do they have timeline that they need to address?

i love kitchen office, its not wasting funding, you guys ask to much

there is never end to fudder,
when dev team is doing cost savings using kitchen, fudder complaining about back-pain about the working chair, now they had to rent costly office
when dev team using low cost green car, you laught at them, so they had to use costly car

i think MOST OF FUDDER ARE LOOSER, staying at home all day and staring at the screen making bad comment
none of you ever doing successful business, never know that we need to use funds wisely on anything necessity

i start my business from home/my room too, we dont need fancy office, dont need lots of professional worker/dev that so expensive if all the END RESULT is the same
we are not multi-billion dollar industry, none of us here is ever in the multi-billion something
if we are, then 90% we might not spent our time grunting in forum, need to admit only boring looser doing that..

complaining about how and what they drink, what PC they use
COME ON GUYS, you guys a child do you? no need high tech PC to do coding, this is not 3D rendering.. , and you're not their mother
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Under Construction | Building A Brand New Codebase on: February 08, 2017, 09:38:45 PM
whats the real use of RISE? I mean you can use BTC to buy things....what is RISE  for....does it has any purpose?

and what is the real use for being Fudder in here?  Grin

i was discussing with McVenture few moments ago, about community togetherness in a ultimate project, and i really love it
(jumpstarting the community in something useful and regulated by the foundation it self)

the usage case of Rise is limitless, since the Rise Userfriendly UI, can be drag n drop, and multi programming language
every newbie in every country could experiment with their creativity in free
(for that, i just hope the releasing app fee is affordable to developing country, not just western market)

RISE SMART CONTRACTS

Smart Contracts enable a new era of legal and business dealings
and are arguably one of the hottest features in crypto at the moment.
RISE will support the creation and execution of Smart Contracts on its
blockchain.

Connect your contract to external data sources through REST APIs,
and allow them to execute actions automatically when criteria are met.
Development of Smart Contracts will be handled through a Graphical
User Interface, and will allow for currency transactions, actions via APIs,
and more.

RISE UTILIZATION OF LINUX CONTAINERS

Did you know Rise Dapps are executed using Docker, a Linux Container based system?

Containers isolate applications from each other and the underlying operating system,
while providing a repeatable build process. Communication between Dapps is done through
an internal network. Select the Dapp you want to connect to, and Rise will connect the Dapp
to your Dapp internally, and allow you to communicate with the Rise API.

Upon launching a new Dapp, the Rise Node spins up a new container, and runs your Dapp in
that container. The container can auto-detect the code you are trying to run, identify the
language, and install dependencies.

If you so choose, you can also isolate your Dapp from all others, so that communication is restricted.

HOW TO USE ARISE DAPP

Have you ever wondered exactly how to open and use a Decentralized Rise Application
on your computer or mobile device?

Before we dive into that, let's go over some other details first:

Developers write Dapps in whatever language they want, using language specific SDKs,
with whichever UI framework they want (including Rise UI), or using Rise API endpoints.

Each Dapp runs in its own container on a Rise Node, which reduces much of the potential
attack surface for malicious actors. We described and explained the use of containers here
a couple of days ago.  Each Dapp Container is connected internally to the Rise API endpoint,
so API calls to Rise are all done internally to the Rise Node, instead of using the public Internet
to send API requests.

The API includes a request/reponse mode, and a streaming mode, enabling realtime updates
to Dapps from the Rise Node, and the Rise Node from the Dapps.

Now to answer the question we started with:

To open a Rise Dapp , you simply enter a URL in the following format:
https://dapp.<nodeName>.rise.vision/<dapp_id/username>

RISE NODE MONETIZATION

Rise Resource Billing System Explained

Rise Node owners will be able to monetize the hosting of Dapps on their Nodes
using the Rise Resource Billing System. This system will be built into the
Rise Dapp Store and allows billing for the use of system resources by Dapps
hosted on the Rise Node.

Resources that can be billed for are:

1) CPU
2) RAM
3) Storage
4) Network I/O

What is billed for, and how much, is determined completely by the Node Owner.
Any Dapp registered on the Rise network will be available for Node Owners to use
on their own Nodes.

Invoicing will be done in Rise, and automation will be available. If invoices aren't
paid, automatic shut-downs, and deletion is possible. This is all customizable by
the Node owner.

thanks for this above, its a good info and tutorial, slowly i learn  about blockchain and etc

RISE DAPP CONSENSUS

Each Rise Dapp has its own unique private side chain which operates in synchronization with
the Rise block time and current block height.

Dapp sidechains are managed by a group of up to 101 master nodes, each of which have block
generation enabled specifically for an individual dapp. The primary role of each master node is
to process transactions and signify the validity of each block generated on the sidechain.

The signing of blocks by a master node against a given dapp is restricted by the dapp owners.
Dapp owners approve individual Rise accounts as master nodes, which then are allowed to forge
on the Dapp’s side chain.

Sidechain consensus is maintained among the 101 master nodes using the same Delegated
Proof-of-Stake (DPOS) method used to secure the Rise blockchain. This allows individual master
nodes to collect fees from each transaction as reward for securing the dapp's side chain.

The motivations behind this form of consensus are:

1) to prevent unnecessary enlargement of the Rise blockchain
2) to retain individual sidechain autonomy
3) to ensure that the integrity of each side chain is constantly upheld

In previous posts we have discussed Dapp Development, Computation (Resource Billing System) & Dapp Consensus.
Today we're going to look more closely at Master Nodes and Dapp Storage. But before we do,
let's recap what we understand a Rise Dapp to be:

A Rise Dapp is a decentralized application that utilizes the Rise SDK and runs in a container on a Rise Node.
It works with the Rise Node using the Rise consensus algorithm. With current web technologies (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript)
the developer is able to create a powerful UI.
Dapps can use any technology that runs on Linux in their development of the server side of the application.
Regular users can launch the Dapps on any Rise Client.

Dapp Master Nodes

Dapp master nodes are Rise nodes with an installed Dapp and with block generation enabled specifically for that Dapp.
Dapp owners need to approve individual Rise accounts to be permitted to be a master node.
The nodes process transactions and generate new blocks which are then secured by the Rise Blockchain,
making them the core of the dapp system.

Dapp Storage

Dapp storage is handled by git repositories. When a Dapp is registered with the main network,
it's master branch on the git repository is used whenever the Dapp is installed.
Web hooks are available to push changes to all Rise Nodes that have the Dapps installed.

File Storage can be handled with local storage in the container utilizing docker volumes,
or can use file storage systems on the web served by cloud providers.
