321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: March 15, 2018, 01:04:16 AM
Being addicted is hard to avoid when people did not know how to manage his responsibilities in their finances. It should be a diseases to those people who cant control and even repeating playing even though they have full of debts.
It's inevitable to become addicted if most of your time is dedicated in casino's and you are enjoying with your time there.

And because you're enjoying you didn't know that the system eats you and you'll wake up one day that all are gone because of your addiction. Yes it became a disease when you let it pass on your nerves and you'll just like a puppet and your life will revolves around the casinos. Personally, even I really enjoyed something I always make sure that I put limit to it so I'll know how far can I go.
It only means that you are responsible gambler and you know that it will be better to stay away from such before you will be affected that way. Enjoying isn't bad if that is too much, that becomes wrong and with gambling it's literally going to become addiction and disease that you never know.
In gambling there are many circumstances and in a matter of time people have different life before and after gambling. Gambling addiction can be called a disease because of its effect on a person who is suffering from unconscious way of thinking that is only focused in gambling.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: March 15, 2018, 12:19:41 AM
Actually we do not need an excuse to stop gambling. Gambling is not a very good thing to always do, but as long as we can control ourselves during gambling, we can get away from bad things. But the decision to stop gambling is a decision that must be respected without having to question why.

True, gambling is truly addicting and if you want to leave in gambling activities, you need to be serious because it is hard to avoid to involve in gambling.

You need to think the result of gambling if you continued in this doing, it is not profitable and lucrative. Much better to waste the time to the family and find alternative activies like sport that are much helpful to take out the stress.
Some people decided to leave gambling even without being advice by others because they found out and realize that gambling is not a profitable activity at all, there are many reported happenings that the prolonged engaging in gambling will leads to addiction and it can destroy or compromise other important part of one's life.
It is only some few cases but not all who plaued gambling has a initiative or ability to distinguish themselves as addicted person. Leaving gambling is the best step that a gambler is willing to do. It lessens all of your loss and the emotional being that it reflects to your life of playing gambling.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XVG] Verge - Speculation & Discussion on: March 15, 2018, 12:03:37 AM
Not sure about the technology, but the community around verge is quite funny. Lots of pumps and dumps. Lots of argumentation. I personally is looking to pick up verge at 50 sats and wait for the next pump  Grin Grin Grin

Don't think we'll see it go any lower than 200 satoshi in the long term but 300 seems quite likely in the coming days. It's been a steady decline since peaking at near 2000 satoshi. I bought in around 1200 and eventually got out around 500, fortunately I traded a bit so my average cost is more like 800 satoshi, still a big mistake and a big loss. I'll be considering buying back in when the price goes sub 300.
Anything is possible remember how dgb got the same movement in the past brought at 2000satoshi then get dump below 100satoshi. All this old coins are brought by hype and the effect of total market capitalization by december 27 bull run.
324  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: March 14, 2018, 11:46:59 PM
I think no. Because if you panic you will lose your money and you will lose your good opportunity to get more profit.
Dont believe on fake news that bitcoin gonna die. Bitcoin always go down but it always go high. Maybe bitcoin is on correction price

agree with you, the current situation panic is not a good thing to do, believe the bitcoin will be even higher, I personally prefer to buy my bitcoin assets with another potentially rising altcoin when the bitcoin price goes up again, for example ethereum, ltc, doge and etc.
Indeed, all of this is a big downfall but it not a signal to panic sell in counterpart of it is a buying zones that you can be able to buy more than you wanted of the altcoins that is really promising.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be a more secured way of handling cash? on: March 11, 2018, 06:18:42 AM
There's been news going around saying that you need to put in a certain address to able to steal that account. I was wondering if that's fake and bitcoin is a secured way of handling cash.
Once a hacker always a hacker. They will make a way when there seems to be no way, so be careful. But in my opinion, bitcoin is still more secured way of handling cash.
The fact that bitcoins is more safer to keep money then you must be not confident at all like what you say a hacker always a hacker and in online the security is the problem anyone can do a theft as fast and unknown. Having both is much good don't rely in only one.
326  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: March 11, 2018, 03:42:24 AM
Forex uses national currencies for exchange and forex rates are low if you do not use margin. Crypto has a very low trading volume and when you use a large amount of money to buy, the value of profit can be up to 10 - 100 times in a short time.
It depends on what kind of crypto trading do we use to trade as i saw many people are in crypto but not in marginal trading especially for thise who are emotional in trading. Crypto trading can be for both short-term and long-term however marginal and forex is almost the same style of trading methods.
327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might continue Bear market for another 1-2 months????? on: March 11, 2018, 12:53:17 AM
I was expecting a run up in March atleast but it doesn't looks like it's going 13k-15k levels. Also, April is start of new financial year, so I am expecting a drop in April too, many countries will/have announced their budget and new regulations near April.
In my own honest opinion this year would be going to establish a much strong support and accumulation we are in year of regulations so we can expect a pump and dump along with the Fuds and good news for the markrt because of this regulations talks and procedures.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe John McAfee is right about Bitcoin hitting $500,000 in 3 years? on: March 11, 2018, 12:33:36 AM
So here, what we really want to understand is the probability of bitcoin reaching $500,000. The market cap will have to be $8 trillion dollar for bitcoin to hit that landmark. So do you think there is  a little probability for that??? Wink
Its not a little probability by doing maths and estimate the possible growth by years anyone can make a good speculation but the majority of it can be hit or be over because bitcoins ATH is always surprising how much is the real price when it goes up. The conclusion is speculation can be reach that or not we don't know it in the future.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for March 2018 on: March 11, 2018, 12:14:59 AM
I called a very successful ICO for PundiX. But what they did lately has begun to bother me. It ended in the first months. I am very hopeful from DIW for these months.
PundiX is a good project but it was an bad time to add in exchange tge price was been dump. How about kepler you don't like it? Even there is a best Ico for much for me it was already finish. And if im going to suggest it will be traxia but its not for march ICO. This month is not good to invest for me because the market was dump and probably the investors have a very limited funds as of now.
330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: March 10, 2018, 11:50:07 PM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

I am still new here,  my knowledge is not yet enough to know if that is correct  and right way to invest.  But for me,  i will not put my money in trading,  i will keep the 50% for emergency purposes and for my family.
I think that was really a good strategy. We don't have to put all our savings on trading, because everything in trading is unpredictable and we can't really predict the outcome of our investment or the amount that we are going to trade. So then I believe that the best thing to do is to spend halfway of our investment to less our risk on the trading feild. However everything is also depending on your trust and patience on the bitcoin feild, Maybe we can gain a lot of we do such thing with great patience.
All you said is a prediction or speculations that we can't rely on to invest all you money. The riskiest part is you can't pullout the money if it loss and all your savings will only flew in some peoples hand. Any billionaire will not advice to do this things in a proper way of investing the money.
331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: March 10, 2018, 11:33:28 PM
I have come to realize in recent time that holding bitcoin in ones wallet is more profitable and a little bit risk free as compared to trading altcoin or what do you think ?
Both of these ways are more better and perfect for the profit but in both of these we need a type of patience ,if we will have patience then surely we can make big earnings and also we should have technical and logical mind to Handle for more profit .
If we will hold bitcoin then surely that is risk free but for this to increase value we will needed for the 5-6 month or even 1 year + but if we will do trading ( with intelligent mind ) then not only we will increase the amount of the bitcoin that we have but also the Value for that coin will increase like holding .
So more profit in trading with bitcoin but our luck should work in both ways .
Here in this field every way is profitable but we need to manage them with more and more perfection and also we should have small better luck .
Holding bitcoins is not risk free it is the only way to have more good chance to earn if you are not an investor or a holder of any altcoins. The money is on trading activity but the luck is not so much better not like gambling that luck is very needed. if you want to earn on trading, you need to have a good long term plan for patience and a good insights of future by using the technologies in the cryptocurrency.
332  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought at 19k, now what? on: March 10, 2018, 04:53:04 AM
I bought 3 btc on credit for 19k about. What should I do? I am way underwater.
I don't know if i will going to elaborate more or stick to it. I am going to give an advice and if you wanted you can ask again.

What you can do is to hold your bitcoins until it goes back since it was almost half but this takes a lot of weeks to months to recover.
Another is to buy and hold some of the dippest altcoins that has a been proven its fundamental or a little bit risk to the newly tokens that is about to explode.
333  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe the dumps are over on: March 10, 2018, 04:35:45 AM
As what I've read, there is still 180,000 BTC left from that Mt. Gox Trustee that is yet to be disposed so if he wants to then he can crash BTC again but after he exhaust all of the BTC he has then we can expect BTC to ride the rocket again to the moon. He may choose to do it over the counter though because his life may already be in danger if he do it again. Since we cannot do anything about the price unless we are a whale then we should just take this opportunity to load up as much as we can because this may be the last time we will be able to buy at this price.
More or less 180,000btc my info was 160k btc and it is totally a treat to the whole bitcoin investors and whales whatever he wants to do we have no control with it. I am just trying to buy at dips and hoping that it is over like the OP said. Then if not we should prepare and wait for the following news.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: March 10, 2018, 03:52:41 AM
We can not say that bitcoin has defeated gold, if we calculate marketcap bitcoin vs gold of course is still very far and gold is bigger than bitcoin, it is certainly a logical consideration for us to divide money into several types of investments including gold.
I agree, somehow it is not that bitcoin defeats gold because this two are the most valuable material in this world. These are differential bitcoins is an online digital currency and while gold is a physical reserve material that is widely known and use in all nations. Both is good and gold has not defeated as long as it is expensive.
335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: March 10, 2018, 03:42:45 AM
Both are profitable. Majority of the users make profit at altcoin trading for short term and make good earning for holding bitcoin for long term
Yes, i do both and in times i realized that there is a perfect months to have bitcoins in this kind of bearish and altcoins when it is bull run. Every trader sbould know to keep and be patient at all times because in this case you can make money if you know what to have and what to wait.
336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading don't work for me too well on: March 10, 2018, 03:17:54 AM
Maybe you don't do research bro. Because this is one of the best way to get a potential coin.  Yes we know being impatient is not good characteristics of a trader.  So you need to be changed your attitude on that and for sure you have chances that you can gain profit if you buy a coin you know potential and for sure if you are noe being patient you will be gain more profit and you will never lose profit.
Patience is the no. 1 enemy of a trader it always there in any kind of volatility but what you need to know that patience itself is not enough and it doesn't mean that if you have it you will never lose. Patience lessens the risk of losing big amount of money and ut is appropriate when you hold a high potential coin but was getting dump hardly.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: March 10, 2018, 01:50:37 AM
I think only one thing what you should do when you see panic  - buy, like I did in past when bitcoin dropped to 5,000$ and then in few weeks back to 10,000$ what made for me 100%+ profit. Also some months ago, when you wrote this post bitcoin price was 2,000$ and you didn't knew what to do, guess now you see, what was the right way.

Actually i'm doing that also but the price of the bitcoin was only comes on $4000 and im hold it until in the time on month of december in a year 2017 the bitcoin was going rise in $17000 im so glad i gained enough profit for buying some of bitcoin.
Eventually that is the best thing to do like what the whales are always doing in the dumps or when market is at panic. Its like the trading so if you would sell in panic you will lose your money it is sell low nit high right. Before do any selling you must have a good analysis that a price can more dump or else you will be fomo'ed the next rise after you sold.
338  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: March 10, 2018, 12:46:11 AM
there are four advantages crypto trading has over forex
1. the probability of losing all your funds like forex is almost non-existent
2. The ROI can be astronomically high over a very short period of time
3. No need for special applications to be installed on your PC or smartphone to start trading.
4. Not limited to graphs

There are 2 major advantages forex have over crypto trading.
1. price movement of currencies is not dependent by direction of bitcoin.
2. Susceptibility to hacking is remote

So weigh the options and decide.
I like your post and it gaves me another additional knowledge why forex and crypto were different. I have no experience trading on forex because i can't afford to lose and to spend money. I have no strong or fast internet connection also to try it.

340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: March 06, 2018, 09:42:35 AM
If someone assumes gambling is a hobby then no one can afford to pay for a 'hobby'. Because satisfaction of someone will not be paid with money. So if you have any money when sitting in gambling place, then the money will not be worth the price. He will spend all money when lost to satisfy his lust, because this situation I ever felt. You're right, in gambling money is not everything.
You got a good idea there however there was a part of it that money is everything. If you play gambling you will use your money to play to satisfy you wants or lust. If we are going to talk about emotional issues then money is not everything, in whole its a money, emotions and luck.
