that code is bad dont use it.  they are trying to scamm you again Math.random() is not secure.

Why?

Should I make another address and send IOTA there?

it's not random enough.. google it.
and yes move your iota to new address.; and be sure to create a REAL RANDOM seed  first

Just a friendly reminder for all the people including IOTA itself calling everyone just stupid for using an online generator :

http://web.archive.org/web/20171206124148/https://iotasupport.com/gui-newseed.shtml

it's written right there that you can use a generator if your not able yourself!
So you better shut up than call others stupid!!
who ownes iotasupport.com ?

Maybe a little late, but this was the code I used, can't remember the github where I got it from.

Code:
<html>
<style type="text/css">
body {  background-color: #000;}
body,td,th {color: #0F0;}
</style>
<script>
function ran(){
var chars = "9ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ";
var string_length = 81;
var randomstring = '';
        for (var i=0; i<string_length; i++) {
            var rnum = Math.floor(Math.random() * chars.length);
            randomstring += chars.substring(rnum,rnum+1);
        }return randomstring ;
}</script>
<div align="center"><img src="http://blog.bitfinex.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/iota_logo-1024x254.png" width="1024" height="254"><br>
</div><p align="center">
<button type="button" onClick="document.getElementById('d').innerHTML = ran()"> Generate random 81 Trytes IOTA Seed </button>
<br><br><br><br><br><p align="center" id="d"></p>
</html>

Review it, save it to a file, rename it to .html, disconnect your internet and open it.

NEVER use an online generator for a seed, any coin.

that code is bad dont use it.  they are trying to scamm you again Math.random() is not secure.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: July 09, 2017, 08:27:38 AM
most of other altcoin are growing now.. but how come iota still keep on dropping?
there are lots of ppl who bought iot before on an otc market on a slack channel. .. for them price is  tempting to sell  .. but for newcommers 0.3$ isnt much money either so .. some are buying while others are selling..      until the early guys are done selling.. then we can go up again Wink  markets gonne be markets.;

i invested few K$  for the long run and i'm still buying the lower it goes . I did the same with btc in 2011, every paycheck just went into bitcoin.
i never bought any other alt  until i found out about iota .  It just clicks in my mind. i dont know why ppl are selling but i'm happy about it cheaper coins for me

How do you send a payment with a seed; do I need a new fresh wallet to do this?

Your seed is your wallet

I understand, but how to send something from an existing wallet with a new seed, dropped by someone in a slack channel? I just trying to understand how this airdrop is supposed to work.

seed works like a key in a lock .

you enter your seed, then you login into your wallet it's like a password.
once you  are in the wallet  you can send it away  to some other address that belongs to you!

the game here is: all of us have the seed.. all of us will login into that wallet with iota in it.. all of us will try to send it  to our own address.   to get flithy rich.
but  only 1  can be confirmed as real ..      hence  not able to double spend.

like with bitcoin .. if you ahve private keys.;  you should not be able to  double spend the same bitcoin

hi guys..  i had a  lot of fun already on this trading platform..

what would be nice to have is :

when entering a   buy or sell.;   how much profit i'll make if price moves 1% in my good direction.      so i can calculate intantly   how much i need to  like 1broker has.µ
Or something similar that makes it realy easy

everytime i'm making an order .. i'll stick to 0.01 contract  because i have no idea what it will result into if i'm doing a market order..  and i want to be fast..

2FA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   needs to be implemented .; for withdraws    as fast as possible Smiley  and email confirmation on top of that would be also great to have..

thanks ..and keep adding  markets..    not sure how you guys make money.; but most of the markets are pretty hard to trade because they are traded by the elite of the world
why not add  a few markets who are less difficult .. like bitcoin market;. but then with  smaller spreads Smiley

But thanks for the great service already.. i like  it a lot.. so far.

If there was no Mtgox ... ?...

then there would be another exchange that would have done something similar.

So can we finally dump to sub 200$?

There is obviously nobody interested to push this to 300...
it will not happen.   had massive dubble bottom on BFX    and thats because of the margin domino effect.
other exchanges have a higher high..  around 200 ..

the weekly looks like it's time for reversal..

buy  220 225  sell 310 zone..    and wait until we get out of this sideways. (+316$)

people have called reversal like 10 times now...

Remember the last "This time is different!!111" pump?

Yea...

ppl is not me.. .. first time i say it Wink

What is this for?

The posts from chartbuddy (a bot) show the bids and asks various exchanges. Some traders believe that the position and size of the "walls" (large bids/asks) give insight into how the BTC/USD (the dollar price of BTC) will change in the immediate future.

This thread is for discussing these walls. In theory. In practice, discussions tend to be much wider-ranging than that!

one should ignore walls imho.. Smiley first mistake i made 4 years ago.; is watching walls and orderbook..
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 17, 2015, 05:51:19 PM
price just rises 5 usd  Shocked

what happen ? are we rich yet ?  Huh
if you are not yet.; you are doing it wrong Wink
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 17, 2015, 04:03:24 PM
so all the asks just dissapeared ..?

great "market"

seems most of stamps orderook = a market maker bot.. Smiley  he can move all asks or bids to one side..   and this is how he traps ppl all the time.

just record it  with some screen capture.. and watch it all happen a bit faster

15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 17, 2015, 07:38:22 AM
