301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH dump even more due to PlusToken? on: December 22, 2019, 12:23:18 PM
A project like bitconnect and the result is the same. In fact, there was a project called mnx, they had also faced such a result. I understand that projects that generate interests mostly turn to shit/scam at the end.
Lol is this another one noname project? I dont sure that it has impact on big crypto
We are discussing how the 789k ethereum, which plustoken earned by scamming people, will affect the price. Otherwise, plustoken can do what it wants with its own tokens.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: What if crypto vanishes? on: December 22, 2019, 12:02:11 PM
What will happen if crypto vanishes overnight or due to some or the other reason if crypto becomes inaccessible to public? I know this does not make sense as crypto will not vanish but still what if it happens? What about those huge chunk of investments made by whales and other investors?
If there was an option that crypto might have vanished, whales would not have invested big money in this market. The crypto system is already accessible from all sides. Given that there are satellites that provide the internet, this could have been possible by destroying them. But now it is possible without the internet. In addition to the lighting network, there are now people who can make transactions through radio waves. Besides, when we look at the possibility of their disappearance, destroying cryptocurrencies like bitcoin is almost impossible with current technology.
303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any trading chat rooms? on: December 22, 2019, 11:41:27 AM
I think you will have difficulty finding the groups that meet your criteria. Since everyone can join free groups, you will encounter many unnecessary members and will not get the effect you expect. Also, in paid groups group admins are active because you pay money for it. If you are going to do the analysis, why do you have to pay? That is why look for local ones, you are more likely to find what you are looking for there.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has this year Christmas favor your cryptocurrency portfolios? on: December 22, 2019, 11:25:58 AM
I couldn't hold it back any longer; as I have sold off my major portfolio because of Christmas celebration. This hold started from last year July, 2018 and now, couldn't hold them again as I have sell off my assets because of the pressure from the family members. After the sale of this asset this evening, I was perplexed as how much I just dumped, all in the name of Christmas.

What are your experience: positive or negative.
I do not think you did right by selling all. Prices are likely to decrease in the new year, but you should also consider the possibility of an increase. Keep some of the funds in your wallet for a possible increase, thus you will not lose more in drop and also benefit from the increase.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Staking WAR has begun, who is wining it? on: December 22, 2019, 10:04:09 AM
Coinbase and Binance are both offering staking and more exchanges are beginning to offer these types of services, but no matter which one you go with make sure they have custody and insurance for their asset holdings to ensure your funds are safe whilst they are maintaining them for you
Binance once showed how responsible they were with their customers fund, remember the time that they were hacked? they took full responsiblity and helped the people that were affected.

Binance offers full refund after $40m hack

Coinbase sure can but the other exchanges that were just going with the adoption of staking and not yet known, we don't know if they have that much fund to do the same if a trouble comes to them but hopefully there's none.
Coinbase is another great exchange that also provides $1billion earnings annually. And if they encounter such a situation, they will not sell a great image so far for a few million. You can be sure that they have enough money to pay back the stolen money after hacking.

Staking is not something that can be competed for, more demand, more earnings.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: December 21, 2019, 04:24:30 PM
Bitcoin's will surely have good days ahead post halving but which will be the most valuable altcoin for 2020?  I vouch on Ethereum and Tron but I would like to know expert's opinion as it would help other members while choosing their altcoin investment as altcoin does pump along with bitcoin so those who cannot afford to invest into bitcoin can invest into altcoins.
If halving has an impact on altcoins, my choice will be top ones. Because there is no definite increasing expectation to take big risk. Maybe, we will earn less, but our loss will not be more as well. Also, considering that halving will influence bitcoin more, that is why diversify most of your funds to it.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin regulations and their future implications on: December 21, 2019, 02:31:10 PM
I am somewhat confused, with Libra actually trying to ruffle the cryptocurrency ecosystem that already exists.
With the regulation for this stable coin will be hampered because everything will be centralized, each transaction will be controlled.
Most stablecoins already need a third party to keep the price constant, so I do not think this news will create any difficulties for their users. The project owners will be obliged to work more accurately, which in my view means more reliable coins. The only problem may be for decentralized stablecoins such as DAI, with their centralization they will almost be destroyed.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash the real Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2019, 02:11:52 PM
I know that Bitcoincash is a hardfork from BITCOIN, it does not mean that BITCOIN is replaced by Bitcoincash and the original is BICOIN because the purpose of hardfork is to break the block of transactions. so at that time supporters of BITCOIN panicked.
We all know there is only one original bitcoin and we all know why it is valuable. Let's have a look at the bch, what makes it valuable? Because it is the hardfork of bitcoin. Otherwise, there are thousands of altcoins that are faster than they are. Do we call them original bitcoin? Personally, I think bch does not even deserve today's price.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 21, 2019, 01:55:03 PM
How can they create these scamming schemes if they are not already knowledgeable? They are more advanced than scammed people, that is why they can easily scam them.
Scammers are people who are good at using situations. Where conditions are chaotic like now is the perfect moment for them to carry out the action.
Scammers are good at misusing the situation. Otherwise, it is not only something that belongs to them but also successful traders.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which logo is best for BitcoinSOV (BSOV)? on: December 21, 2019, 01:39:13 PM
Number 1 looks like a 3d art work which looks bogus for my liking. Definitely not number 2, it is tasteless. Number 3 looks good, the triplet rhombus in a circle looks more like it. So I prefer no 3

I like simplicity, so I'll go for number 3, all the successful coins in the market, has a simple logo, people can easily relate and can easily spot if you include the so many logos in the market, but if you go for voting and number 3 did not win the voting, you should still consider simplicity, so far number is winning.
I'll also vote for the logo #3 but it reminds me of the bancor network logo although the design itself is quite far than what it is but the color way is almost the same. The logo #2 also, the one that has the fire above is very unique I guess since I never saw a logo that has that design. Perhaps you guys can mix that all up and came for a new bad ass logo could you?

Voting already ended on November 8th. Also, the voting was not here, it was in the Telegram group.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Price Peak = $ 1,432.99 USD (Jan 13 2018) on: December 20, 2019, 01:16:44 PM
In your opinion, does the founder of Ethereum (Vitalik) still have tens of thousands of personal ETH?
As Vitalik himself said, he never held more than 0.9% of the total supply and value never exceeded 1 billion: https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1050125475253637120

I think Ethereum still has a big chance to reach the highest price again.
The future of ethereum is bright, yes, but if the 2.0 is updated, it will begin to shine without having to wait long. But, apparently, this will take a little more time.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized way how to earn interest on Bitcoin? on: December 20, 2019, 01:00:37 PM
Thank you for every reply, I just only wanted know if it is possible, probably not, you only need to risk something to gain something right?
Also lending on platforms like Binance, Bitfinex or Nexo are not risk-free, right?
So I continue hold my Bitcoins in my wallet, rather than loose them on some exchange or platform.  Wink
There is always a risk, even when you hold it in the hardware wallet. But, at exchanges, the risk is always greater. The known way to make money from bitcoin is to hold it on exchanges or lending platforms. But, if that is not what you want, let it stay in the wallet until such an update comes out.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altseason Has Almost Arrived For Altcoins. on: December 20, 2019, 12:40:13 PM
Compared to prices before the last fall of the bitcoin, this increase is not enough. While ethereum's price was around $140 before the fall, now it is $128, but the price has increased by 2% in the last 24 hours. As if the market is cheating on us, there are always such small increases, but decrease interest is more active. Personally I cannot see a sign that the altseason is coming, altcoins can do better than that.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which are your recommendations for best coins to invest in 2020? on: December 20, 2019, 12:18:14 PM
A couple of my favourite 'newer' altcoin projects are: BAT and VeChain. They all got great room to grow in a bull market. With strong teams and products. Actual live products that are working, with users who use them daily.

Other interesting altcoins are: Callisto, ADA and Chainlink. Especially Chainlink and LINK is interesting if they can suceed with what they are working on.
Your choices are almost good. But there are some things you need to watch out for. For example, Vechain was hacked recently: https://medium.com/@vechainofficial/vechain-foundation-announcement-8459492ee039

Chainlink and LINK
I guess Chainlink and Link are the same projects? Anyway, LINK is one of the projects that should be invested.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your preparation for 2020? on: December 20, 2019, 11:56:56 AM
I prepare for 2020 by continuing to add to my bitcoin and keep holding it until the bitcoin bull run. and I also believe that bitcoin can again reach the price of $ 20,000 after bitcoin is reduced by half. I only add bitcoin not altcoin because according to the bad altcoin market conditions. although maybe when bitcoin is pumping altcoin also increases but the increase will not be as high as bitcoin. I already have some altcoin I will also hold and wait until the market is bullish.
Nothing to prepare on 2020 because bitcoin and altcoin always have lower price, become watcher and waiting bitcoin raise up to higher price is better than have to invest in bitcoin or altcoin because price can be dump. Enough with how much loss during last year with bitcoin and altcoin investing have lower price and waiting when crypto price back to higher price to sell all it and get profit back again.
There was always the possibility that the price would fall, this is nothing new. So you will not be able to trade without overcoming this fear or you should find yourself a more suitable asset to trade. This may also cause you to miss a lot of opportunities. Or reset everything and start over, and this time invest the amount you can risk.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralization or Scalability? on: December 19, 2019, 04:35:18 PM
It's really a trade off, isn't it. At least with current technology.

I think that projects like IOTA actually have both aspects pretty down already which is rare, which may contribute to their long term success.

That said though, I'd definitely not sacrifice decentralisation in favour of anything, scalability included. Simply because that's the sole reason anyone would use BTC in the first place.
Right, if we have to choose one of the two options, why this should not be our freedom? There are hundreds of assets available to scale. But, decentralized cryptocurrencies can survive through our support, and if we do not evaluate it, we may never have a chance like this again. And do not consider this evaluation as a trade, it means decentralized freedom.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How and why to buy Stablecoins in 2020 on: December 19, 2019, 04:19:44 PM
In my own opinion, stable coins are not that good to buy because it's not profitable. Stablecoins is just like fiat currency that it is only good for making online transactions and good as a storage when we are facing a bear market to avoid having huge losses, but i don't still recommend buying a stable coin because i believe most cryptocurrency will increased it's prices in the year of 2020 like bitcoin.
You can diversify your portfolio between stable and volatile coins. So you will have the opportunity to buy when the price is down and to sell when the price is up. Otherwise, there is a high chance of misunderstanding the situation in such cases, therefore you may miss out on the real opportunity. As you know there is nothing definite in crypto, anything can happen at any moment.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting cryptocurrency through altcoin on: December 19, 2019, 03:05:39 PM
If we look at the latest price change, we can easily see that investors give superiority to bitcoin. Although altcoins are affected by decrease, they do not benefit much from the increase. As you said, investors should be directed to altcoins. Promotion or anything else to attract attention must be done. Otherwise, bitcoin's stance is more durable than others.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some big things to watch for in 2020 on: December 19, 2019, 02:34:33 PM
1. How Bitcoin halving can bring impacts in crypto space.
2. Will we see the launching of Libra coin.
3. Us government intervention in crypto space, Libra project gets no progress.
4. People are waiting for the launching of Ethereum 2.0’s
5. SEC vs. Telegram, what is the end of this fighting?
1. If the value of bitcoin increases next year, the crypto space will certainly be affected. But first, there is a need for a positive change in the bitcoin itself.
2.3. What will happen to Libra depends on the US.
4. We all expect eth 2.0, but I have read a lot of articles about its delay. Perhaps, the current decrease is related to the delay.
5. Since the SEC itself will make the final decision on this issue, I cannot make any prediction.
