You need server=1 for the RPC to be turned on. If you don't use the RPC log/pass for your own purposes, get rid of these lines too. Also, you should update to RC1.
843  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: 0.96.3 Bump Fee not working on: December 21, 2017, 06:15:52 PM
Then your setup is off. How did you enable the RPC on your node, and what version is it?

Update to RC1
845  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: 0.96.3 Bump Fee not working on: December 21, 2017, 04:20:33 PM
goatpig, please explain a little more what I need to do, thanks!

It thinks your ZC output is worth 0. Did you try to empty your wallet in one go?

RPC on and Armory been told to handle Bitcoin Core, which is done, but yet Armory is not fetching dynamic fees. Any hint?

Is the block counter at the bottom right green or purple?
846  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Using Armory on the BCH chain on: December 21, 2017, 04:17:35 PM
Just read the news about BCH chain introducing new type of address:
https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-cash-community-prepares-for-change-the-address-day/
Is Armory supporting it (or planning to support it in any upcoming release)?

nothx
847  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory node offline on: December 21, 2017, 03:06:47 AM
1) Start BitcoinQt and make sure it's synchronized

2) Delete this folder: C:\Users\paul.nelson\AppData\Roaming\Armory\databases

3) Start Armory and let it catch up
848  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory node offline on: December 21, 2017, 02:09:45 AM
What version of Armory are you using. Also, stick to this thread, don't go ham with all this necroing and extra threads. Post your logs at any rate, using pastebin.
849  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory query on: December 21, 2017, 01:24:08 AM
Depends on your machine.

This is my machine (pretty high end):

Core: 5~6 hours
Armory: 7min

On old laptops, don't expect performance anywhere close to this.
850  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory node offline on: December 21, 2017, 01:21:53 AM
Node offline means your node is not running in the background. Run BitcoinQt, it should detect it.
851  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Help with armory update on macOs on: December 20, 2017, 11:12:42 PM
Illegal instructions usually mean your CPU is lacking the silicon for specialized ASM calls. You'd have to build yourself.
852  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Using Armory on the BCH chain on: December 20, 2017, 07:55:52 PM
Is it as simple as running armory with a complete BCC node and then sending using the BCC signer?

Yes.
853  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory 0.96.3 on Ubuntu 16.04 on: December 20, 2017, 05:02:44 PM
Which builds? the gcc 5.4 or 4.7?

Tried this one?

854  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Not able to make Armory go online (Failed to spawn the DB.) - Help plz on: December 20, 2017, 03:43:38 PM
Always use the latest version. Grab the binaries from their point of origin, the release page on the repo:

855  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: 0.96.3 Bump Fee not working on: December 20, 2017, 03:33:56 PM
Thanks mates. Looks like Armory crew is NOT putting that into the "urgent" todo list.

There's a fix in the testing branch, just haven't bothered putting out a build. Open source and all you know, build it yourself blah blah. If you can't build from source, you're at my mercy blah blah.

On top of that Armory 0.96.3 is NOT (dinamically) calculating fees appropriately.

It does, turn on your node's RPC. Also it warns you if your fee is <200 s/B. Next time don't just click through every message box.

Reverting to another RELIABLE wallet as yesterday I had 4 stuck tx with Bittrex in a row.

Godspeed.
856  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory 0.96.3 on Ubuntu 16.04 on: December 20, 2017, 03:31:37 PM
Are you running your own builds or mine?
857  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: 0.96.4 RC1 on: December 19, 2017, 11:01:32 PM
everything worked like a charm.  thx goatpig!

how do i make the ccDlgGeometry line deletion persistent?

Idk, it's some weird shit where the dialog appears minimized or out frame for whatever reason. I may just get rid of the damn geometry saving for this dialog if I can figure out what's going on.
858  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: 0.96.4 RC1 on: December 19, 2017, 08:34:28 PM
The entire line.
859  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: 0.96.4 RC1 on: December 19, 2017, 08:14:44 PM
Remove the dlg size entry from Settings.txt
860  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: 0.96.4 RC1 on: December 19, 2017, 07:29:47 PM
CPFP. Spend the change of the stuck ZC with a big fee back to yourself.
